Charged multiple times for delivery rather than consolidating into one order. Had to negotiate not being charged for 3 separate deliveries. When the first delivery came, the drivers manhandled a white leather recliner which left black marks all over and who knows what kind of internal damages. They rolled it around on the ground - it was ridiculous!!! The salesperson quotes were not what ended up on the invoice typed up by the front desk.

They are helpful and will give the best deal guaranteed.

I was interested in a bed. While browsing, a staffperson named Abe Kadmiri offered to assist. He was able to hone in on the best model, a mattress was agreed upon and the deal was soon done. It all went smoothly and I was more than satisfied with my experience at Ashley Furniture Store. This was a two step deal by which I made my selection and paid the agreed upon charge in step one. In step two, the bed model purchased will be delivered in late August of this year to a specified address. If any assembly of the purchased model is required, then the deliverers will do the assembly upon its delivery to my apartment. It is my hope that part two goes as well as part one. If so, then I cannot help but give my highest rating to Abe and the team at Ashley Furniture Store of Falls Church, VA.

Poor quality item and delivered damaged. More than one of the drawer runners were dislodged and screws ripped out of the wood. This item is pure junk. To add insult, the store wants me to pay $150 to return it and then I’ll get a store credit for the value of the item. I regret buying from Ashley and recommend other steer clear of them.

Avoid Ashley like the plague. I came in earlier this month and picked out a sectional - the sales people were fine then, albeit making unrealistic promises. Once I received the item, it gave me a severe allergic reaction. I went back to the store and was assured several times I would get a refund to my credit card. Corporate said it as well - but mind you their only solution was to tell me I should pay them to deep clean their product. After the items were picked up, I called corporate back to confirm receipt and was told suddenly that I could only get store credit and was told to go the store. At the store, the same office manager who had assured me I would be refunded to my card, told me it wasn’t possible. I am now down nearly 3k and without furniture and will be pursuing a charge back for the purchase. I would absolutely never recommend any item from Ashley, especially given their insidious behavior, blatant lies, and horrible products. Shame on you. EDIT: Regardless of what your “records” say, your office manager and your customer service line assured me several times that I would get a credit card refund. I specifically asked every time and was reassured each time. I don’t appreciate you lying about my experience to save face as a company.

When my boyfriend and I purchased a couch last month at Ashley at the Falls Church location, we were thrilled with the service, as can be seen by my original review below. However, after publicly praising the store and swiping our card, the customer service become completely nonexistent and the store backed out on what they said about finding us the right pillows and ensuring our happiness with our couch. I have emailed the store multiple times since purchasing an expensive couch with no response. This was after we followed up about the pillows ourselves and was told that despite being told we'd get them, they wouldn't be coming. There has been zero outreach to us since our purchase and we have no idea what is going on with our couch and pillows. It is impossible to get a hold of Johnny or the store manager or the store customer service. We have been totally ghosted. This is absolutely unacceptable when buying what should be an expensive, forever piece of furniture for your home that you are looking forward to. Since March 19 I have been trying to get ahold of someone to no avail. Would not recommend shopping here unless they are able to remedy the situation. -- Johnny at Falls Church was exceptional. He worked to get us the right price and find the right couch and is making sure we get the right pillows. He was very patient and made sure we knew all the options.

The initial experience was great, but follow-up/follow through and business practices are lacking.Was told couch delivery was going to be 3-4 weeks initially. Ended up finding another couch through another vendor that could deliver earlier. Called to cancel and was told couches were suddenly in warehouse and they could deliver within 2 days—If I hadn’t called to cancel would I still be waiting 4 weeks? Why didn’t someone call to schedule delivery if items had arrived at warehouse? Lastly I was told that in order to cancel the order I physically had to drive 45 minutes to the store since they could only cancel if I was there in Person—and I’m out of town the next few weeks so have not been able to make it in yet. Every company has an automated cancellation button somewhere in the system, so seems like an antiquated business system. Overall, they did great with the initial sale but follow-up/follow through and business processes were woefully antiquated/outdated. or lacking all together.

My purchase experience was pleasant. So pleasant that I didn't confirm that what was said matched what I signed. So pleasant that iI posted a review before leaving the store. Without a shadow of doubt, an approximate date was given to expect delivery of the recliner my father chose as a birthday gift. She looked in her tablet & the date was reasonable. Otherwise, we would have gone elsewhere. At checkout, your documents will be placed in an envelope as everyone is still smiling & celebrating the purchase. I opened the envelope at home and in bold I see ,8-12 weeks. I called the store, insisting she said four weeks...because the computer says so. I didn't just make a date up in my head. I planned to furnish my own living room & dining room from there. Nope! If we were honestly told that, Dad could decide whether he wanted to wait a month for his chair. We had an entire conversation at the counter about honesty & good customer service. You lost a couple of thousands of dollars in a future purchase over a $400 chair. There are furniture stores much closer to where I live . Dad was hospitalized three weeks ago and hasn't seen it yet. Praying that sooner than later he will be home again, and even understands that it's his new chair. We're all human & make mistakes but I feel deceived.
