Kabir was very helpful and professional
We had such a great experience. Kabeer was awesome, he helped us a lot. I will definitely recommend this place.
I had the worst buying experience there. Went there to buy a leather sofa, the seller asked me the door entrance size, I went home and brought the size. He said it will go through than purchased waited for almost three weeks and the sofa didn’t went through my door. The delivery guys told me that sign a paper if it tears or damaged by entering with force you will be responsible for!. I said return it. When went to the store tried to find something else that could go through the door but didn’t find the right one. Asked for refund the store manager told me that it’s a store credit!!!? You must buy something there is no refund!!! This was not even told at the beginning of purchase!!. Then I struggled and after two weeks they said ok the corporate approved to refund but not for the delivery!!! I said it was not delivered go ahead and deliver it to my home and I won’t aske for the refund as it was not my fault you asked for door entry measurements and I provided than you said it will go through!! So I purchased but it didn’t went so why should I pay for your mistake!!. Then I lost the credit card in there store while four times went there for refund. Finally they said only to that card we will refund not other cards. They asked for approval and I send them my credit card statement and ID then they said call the corporate. I did called the corporate and they said we cannot help ask the store and the store again said call the corporate. I stopped and claimed through my bank to settle this and bunch of live scammers are there to steal your money with a different way I can’t say anything but was a measurable experience. Just leaving my review to be aware and not scam anyone else too!!!

Our sales associate was Noori and she was available and ready to answer any questions we had, but not overwhelming in following us around. We ended up finding a new bed and night stands and she was able to walk through all the pricing with us and get us something that was within our price range.
Noori was a fantastic salesperson! I really enjoyed the experience at this Ashley store it was just the right amount of being available to help us but also giving us enough room to look around and make our own decisions. We fell in love with a bed set and ended up purchasing same day.

I don't recommend this place at all. 2 weeks ago we went to buy a sofa and they told us that it would arrive in 5 days and it did, but it arrived at our house without the correct legs, a claim was made 10 days ago and we are still waiting for the 4 legs and it was even worse. I paid a $120 installation and delivery service that apparently was for nothing. I feel sorry for Mark, who gave us great service and is a good salesman.
Nick did an awesome job helping me choose a comfortable and affordable sleeper sectional for my place. He’s very informative and really helped me weigh out my options and pick the best one. He really takes your opinions into consideration. He isn’t just trying to push for a sale, he wants to make sure you get the best. He also let us take our time trying out all the couches and make a decision. Would recommend working with him!

The sofa chaise we wanted was only available online, but our sales person, Mark, was able to order it for us with a quicker delivery timeframe than online. * UPDATE* Unfortunately we had to cancel our order. The sofa wouldn’t fit in the elevator in the older apartment building. The delivery people then informed us that to carry it up the six flights, we would be charged an additional $300. What we were not told in the store was that the “No hassle delivery” only allowed for three flights of stairs - every additional flight would cost $100. Trying to get someone to call back to assist with the cancellation was impossible. On four separate occasions we were told that the manager or regional manager would call back- later today, tomorrow, on Tuesday when they get in, etc… Not once did we speak to anyone in authority. Very frustrating and terrible Customer Service! Eventually, we received a partial refund; minus the cost of “No hassle delivery” and a substantial restocking fee. Buyer Beware!

Workers are very helpful. Problem is quality of products. We bought a couch for 1500 and before halfway of the payments its already garbage. We have to rearrange cushions every 10 minutes to get comfortable, fabric got mated already. It turns to a bed and its so uncomfortable impossible to sleep on. We are just waiting payments to be done to get rid of it.

He suggested a couch that he believed would check off all the boxes for me. He was right! At no time did he try to "sell" me a different couch. He patiently showed me everything that was on the showroom floor and gave me the opportunity / time to sit on each sofa and make the decision without any pressure. Mark helped me at this store. He was very friendly and helped me get a good deal on some furniture. This store is huge and there are many variety of good furniture for just about any family. They offer a discount through Yelp as well as other discounts like military. Reason for 4 stars: Not this store particularly, but Ashley Service and Repair team is so poorly run. My furniture was delivered with a lot of damages (see pictures) so I sent an email to the store manager who sent an email to the service team. However, the service team never followed up so I had to find out the number and call them myself. The service department saw the email only after I called them and said they would replace the furniture. Waited additional two weeks. New furniture came, but this one was also busted and damaged. Gave Ashley furniture a call at this location and the manager answered and apologized. Going to try and get this damaged one replaced again, but I have low hopes because of the lack of quality check from the warehouse/service department which operates somewhere else. The first one that was delivered had evidence of prior repair and also cracked wood, torn out pieces of wood too. The second one had completely broken wooden pieces at the base. The amount of effort to call service department, arrange for delivery, unboxing the furniture and throwing away the massive amount of waste this process creates is really not worth it. I feel like I need to be compensated for this with free assembly and cleaning up the mess in my home.

The entire staff were quite courteous and warm actually (especially Burt!) and they've referred us over to a contact that has made shipping/installing things much easier. My Ashley dining table, server, sleeper sofa and king size bed got delivered by Regency. I had paid $450 for delivery and installation. The two delivery guys put scratches on my new table, stained my sleeper sofa, installed server doors in misalignment. They were so careless with the furniture, tools and my house. I saw them step on the table top, throw the drill and parts of the bed harshly on the carpet, and put dents and cracks on my drywall. They also tried to coerce me into signing a waiver form. Waiting to hear from Ashley’s service department for two weeks. Will update once I get my furniture fixed.

I love my furniture, but the customer service is trash on my furniture arrive. The rep ordered the wrong pieces which already took a month and a half and now we have been waiting almost another month for the pieces that were ordered incorrectly. I’ve spoke with a manager about expediting the missing pieces, but never received a callback and when I called the furniture store, they always give me the runaround as far as my manager is not in right now can you leave your name and give me a call back, but I never got a call back. Customer service is trash as soon as you buy the furniture they’re done with you and you’re on their time. Which is the furniture will get delivered when it gets delivered no specific date or anything.

Wassim was the one who sold us the couch and did not ask us the dimensions of the door our couch would be fitting through when shopping. We told him we were putting it in a guest room and the standard door size for bedrooms is 30 inches. Once we purchased the couch we looked at reviews online and saw that the minimum dimensions was 32 inches and our door was 30 inches. Check for measurements before you go, because the salespeople will not help with that. Had to pay a $100 fee to cancel the order.

Their customer service is ridiculously unprofessional . Bought a bed three weeks ago, it was delivered to me on Tuesday and bed is broken. They also didn’t install bed legs properly. I called & asked to speak to a manager. After I asked for a solution she began to raise her voice at me. ( of course I did too) she kept saying “ What do you want me to do? Call customer service on Tuesday because they don’t work weekends or Monday because it’s a holiday”. As a manager I was really expecting a better solution. Very unprofessional. She also said she was going to email and hung up without even taking my information. Can’t believe people get paid for this.

TRASHley’s deserves its garbage name. We spent thousands of dollars at Ashley a year ago. In addition to several other large items, we got a large leather sectional and decided to pay for the 5 year protection plan. Total rip-off. In less than a year, we’ve had to call a technician twice for our [hardly] used leather couch. This past time, Ashley sent out a technician that was completely high, smelled like weed, and arrived after his scheduled time block. He told us he could not fix our couch and that the part would have to be ordered. Ashley called today to notify us that our issue was not covered under our 5 year protection plan, even though the plan advertises that “we want you to enjoy beauty and durability of your furniture investment for years to come.” So much for durability, and so much for protection. Apparently their own seat cushion stitching coming undone on a lightly used couch after less than a year (mind you the “protection” plan is supposed to cover 5) is not their problem. Ashley, you are such a furniture store disappointment and your customer service is atrocious. You should give us our money back for the $370 rip-off you call your “5 year protection plan.” And then we’ll be sure to never shop with you again.

Update: since customer service reached out they were able to get my furniture to me a week sooner, bringing this to about two and a half months. The customer service and third delivery crew were the best by far and actually took my delivery seriously Getting a delivery from the Falls Church Ashley Furniture has turned into a three month nightmare with two canceled deliveries and a third scheduled weeks later through no fault of my own. They also will not refund my order at the full amount despite the issues being on their end. Save yourself the headaches and uncertainty- absolutely DO NOT get delivery service from here!

So My daughter needed a sectional sofa and I highly recommended Ashley furniture to her. She was hesitant at first, but then decided to go browse. The salesman approached us ,Nick, who seemed very kind and accommodating. My daughter actually liked a sectional there and purchased it on the spot. The delivery date was scheduled on the date that we were going to leave to New York City. When the furniture arrived, it was the wrong color!! Things like this happen I understand, however, being that we spent half the day waiting for the furniture when we could have been in New York city upset me very very much! I was very confident that Ashley would compensate us for this mishap! My daughter contacted both a manager and Nick in regards to some sort of compensation. They did nothing but say, "Im sorry" and they gave nothing. I was disgusted by this.! We paid $300 a night for a hotel in New York City that we were staying at and we didn't arrive when we were supposed to at 3 PM to check in! We drove in rush hour traffic up 95north and arrived at 8 PM. This is horrible horrible customer service!! I will not refer Ashly to anyone anymore! Not to mention how My daughter was so upset with me because I recommended Ashley to her! Good job Nick and company for your lack of GOOD customer service!

Terrible customer service. The salesman was nice. When it came to delivering my couch, they called me the day before and said they’d deliver from 10-2. They said one piece of the sectional was damaged, but they would deliver everything else including the other sofa since I got rid of my old one. Finally after they never arrived at 3, I called delivery and they said my delivery was canceled since it was a partial delivery. So they never told me and I waited for 5 hours and told me I need to call the . Called the store and they couldn’t help me and told me to call corporate. Tried their virtual assistant and they told me to call the store. Just getting the runaround with no help still. 0 stars

Multiple issues with this Ashley Furniture store, but I'll begin with the purchasing process. Please be advised that what they will not tell you upfront is that you have two options to pay 1) pay in full on the spot or 2) required to apply and use their credit card to purchase the items. Ashley Furniture has only electronic versions of the terms and conditions documents located at the store when I was there - so when my partner and I were reading the terms and conditions, the sales associate took it upon himself to click by himself the 'accept' button. We asked the sales associate to undo that action and go back so that we could continue reading the terms and conditions, and if we agreed to them, then we would click accept ourselves. The sales associate said there was no process to electronically return to the terms and conditions page. We asked for a physical form of the terms and conditions, and they said they do not carry them at the store. Additionally, as we were trying to locate a physical copy, our sales associate loudly announced that the credit card had been approved and said we needed to buy more because we hadn't reached the credit limit. This all was highly unprofessional, unacceptable, and reckless. Cut to months later when the mattress and bedframe finally arrive. The mattress was fine for the first few months, but it started to sink on one side. This was a one-sided mattress, and we rotated it, thinking the mattress would fix itself, and it did not - it got worse. We sent pictures and descriptions of the mattress and emphasized that it had not even been 1 year, and the sinkage was already visible. The store sent out a third-party company to measure the sinkage, and it totaled 0.5 inches, and they argued that the warranty only covers 1.0+ inches. We explained the basic concept that it's not even been a year, and the bed has sunk already halfway to the warranty requirement, so it's clearly a malfunction that should be replaced. They rejected our claim and closed that book. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture.
I recommend everyone looking to buy new furniture to come to Ashley Falls Church location and ask for Bassil and Wassim they will definitely take care of you! They’re the best in businesses!

Terrible support. Said they would assemble my furniture upon delivery. They were 1.5 hours late to my 4 hour window. They left the furniture unassembled as I had a friend stay back since they missed the timeline. I now have furniture in boxes. When I tried to unwrap my couch, it was damaged. Their customer services said I signed the waiver to something I couldn't see underneath wrapping. Terrible experience they are telling me I'm stuck with the couch.

[updated 10/14/2022] delivered 10/11/2022 They were missing two bolts from the pull-out bed that we added to the couch. It seemed it was ripped. We called back right away to the delivery man(within 10 minutes that was delivered), he said we need to talk to the store. We called the store. They said we should've checked it before we signed it (never mentioned anything like that before. we signed because we got it delivered and we were checking) and they said they will call us back. Been three(3) days. No call back. My husband is trying to figure out fixing it himself. I would've been stuck with a more than $1,000 worth couch. Hopefully no one else has to go through with this. The warranty is useless. [3 weeks ago] Kabeer helped a lot. Awesome!

Mark was very helpful the first day I came. Today I asked for him and bought the furniture I liked. He also helped me open a Ashley credit to be able to purchase the furniture.
Kabeer and Keith were friendly and personable. I felt comfortable talking to them both. They did not pressure my wife and I to purchase. Yet, they were comprehensive and knowledgeable about the furniture we desired to purchase.
Update….. although my sales experience was positive after delivery I am very disappointed. I received my furniture, and upon receipt there was a very small tear on the rear of the sofa that I did not notice immediately. I contacted the store within two days to let them know there was a small tear and paint transfer from the couch, scraping the wall at delivery. I also informed that I was missing pillows that were supposed to be delivered with the couch. The pillows were mailed to me after several phone calls, and visited to the store but they refused to repair the damage to the couch. I did look for any sign of obvious damage upon delivery, but this was a very small tear in the rear of the couch barely noticeable . They stated that they will not repair the damage and only send the missing pillows. I am very disappointed at the customer service after purchase. I need more furniture for my apartment, but I will not be purchasing from the store again. Another update: couch threads are falling out and stitching coming apart. My husband and I are barely home and have hardly used the sofa and it’s already falling apart . Photos are of the damage from delivery and the threads that are coming out in one area of the sofa

I need to edit my initial positive review and rating due to the manager’s unprofessional behavior and handling of an issue regarding inconsistent messaging from a salesperson and their questionable and unethical sales tactics (i.e. telling us one price and telling another customer a much higher price for the same item in front of us; pushing us to immediately give him a 5-star review on Google even before the transaction was finalized and actually touching my husband’s phone to give a thumbs up). We get that salespeople need to get a commission and franchises may have different policies compared to the corporate website, and this was explained to us in a calm and professional manner by Wassim, but only after the manager (didn’t catch his name, but he wears glasses) was immediately super defensive, condescending, dismissive and aggressive in tone, cutting us off, and raising his voice and walking away even after I accepted the initial explanation of the price difference online versus in store. At that point, my main concern was that rather than apologizing for the misunderstanding and actions of his staff at the beginning of the conversation and explaining the situation in a civil and professional manner, he came at us with guns blazing, refusing to acknowledge until well after he was called out on it that his staff messed up. I get it - employees make mistakes and to be honest, I wasn’t even mad about that. At the end of the day, we just wanted a straight explanation in a calm manner, and it was given to us by Wassim, NOT the manager/supervisor. Perhaps we shouldn’t have been that surprised at this manager’s behavior because earlier, while we were waiting for the transaction to be processed, we overheard him speaking in a similar aggressive manner to another customer. Granted, that customer was a bit more assertive than us, but he still shouldn’t have been on the phone on the sales floor, within earshot of other customers, loudly complaining about the situation and being quite nasty. Even if the customer was wrong, you walk away and vent - not do it in front of prospective buyers. The explanation we got from his apologetic colleague for his behavior was that he was “new,” but that’s not really a valid excuse for someone in a leadership role. Anyway, once we were able to have a civil and more professional discussion with Wassim and the transaction was adjusted, we were fine. This just all could have been prevented if the message was consistent from all parties at the very beginning.
This one star is a reflection of the questionable ethics in the building and the manager, didn't catch his name, some white guy with glasses and ill-fitting clothes who was completely stand-offish and unprofessional. Walked away in the middle of us discussing our issue. We had an issue with how our salesperson misrepresented pricing and policy (namely price matching) and MAKING us give him a 5-star review even before the transaction was complete. He even went as far as TOUCHING MY PHONE, SELECTING THE THUMBS UP AND ATTEMPTING TO RATE HIMSELF WHILE MY PHONE WAS STILL IN MY HAND! We were directly told by the salesperson that "if you see a lower price ANYWHERE", we could price match online. We later went back to the store only to have the manager tell us that, because they are a franchise, they don't do that, not even with Ashley's own website. They basically only price match themselves. Fine, we were understanding of that once it was explained. Again, the main issue was with the lack of transparency and misrepresentation by our salesperson. When we expressed this, the manager immediately became defensive and aggressive, continuously talking over us and doing everything but apologize or accept any sort of accountability on behalf of him or his salespeople. He kept repeating that our total price was less than what we would get online "and that's how franchises work". We reiterated that we understood the explanation, but our problem was we were lied to. He then abruptly walked away while my wife was still talking. Only after Wassim began to help us resolve our issue did the manager return and admit things were communicated poorly. While he eventually apologized for the poor communication, he never once apologized for his behavior. Sad thing is that none of these behaviors will be corrected. The manager should be in a cubicle, not in a customer-facing leadership role. P.S. Fingers crossed that we don't get punished for our honesty and that we actually get our furniture.

Huge fan of Ashley Furniture. I've bought all my furniture from here. Bought a large batch of stuff in 2016 and it's all still in great condition. This store is cramped, poorly laid out, has hideous furniture and only serves to make me miss the Borders Books that used to be there that used the space more efficiently. Also what’s the point of displaying furniture on overhead spaces that are inaccessible to customers. It makes absolutely no sense to and serves no other function than to fill space.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. My experience with this store was terrible. I was overcharged and received poor customer service throughout the experience. Additionally their protection plans are a rip off and do not actually do anything if your items are damaged. I purchased a table and four chairs with a protection plan from Ashley on May 14, 2022. I was very excited by my purchase and when I got home from the store looked up my table online to send pics to friends and family. At this point I noticed the table was over $260 cheaper online. I called the sales person and after a lot of back and forth they agreed to reimburse me for half the difference. They claimed they couldn’t give me the full difference because I’d get the money back on my warranty if I didn’t use it and their delivery included set up of the table. I begrudgingly agreed because I liked the table a lot. On July 26, 2022 my table and chairs was delivered. I checked the top and the base and everything looked fine so I signed off on the table. There was a black line in the table top but it was minor so I let it go. Unfortunately due to some health issues I wasn’t able to use the table immediately. I finally got to enjoy a meal at my table on August 10th. As I was eating I noticed a rough spot on the side of the table. At this point I noticed a crack. I inspected the entire endge of the table and noticed 3 cracks. I called the store the next day and I sent them pictures. Eight days later the store came back and stated the cracks were cosmetic so there was nothing they could do. Additionally all defects must be reported within 72 hours and there were no allowances for health issues. But they said to contact my protection plan and they could take care of it. I called the protection plan and opened a claim. Unfortunately they said that they also couldn’t help me either. My protection plan is for 5 years but anything in the first year falls on the store so I should call them back with my claim number. I called the store back only to be told no but I could appeal to the service center. I did this and was told because I’d reported damages outside of the 72 hour window after delivery there was nothing I could do and this decision could not be changed. They said to call the protection plan company back and explain this and this it’s on them to fix. The protection plan company said that because the damages could have occurred prior to or during delivery it wasn’t covered. Only accidents caused by the customer were covered. Because I couldn’t remembered a specific incident causing the damage it was on the store to fix. In all I’ve made over 10 phone calls and every time I’ve been told it’s the responsibility of another party. I will never purchase anything from this Ashley or any other Ashley furniture store again. This was my first expensive furniture purchase and I am extremely disappointed. Not only did they refuse to fix or replace the table, no offer was made to provide even a partial refund or a store credit.

Kanan R. was a wonderful product specialist, and saved us significant money (to me) on a purchase I made on a very tight budget. When he noticed the low stock, he made sure to expedited our experience so that I would not only get my sofabed, but also get it shipped within a week! I asked for what I needed, and he knowledgeably took me to the item that best met those needs. He was amiable, funny, and very kind. My mom and I were blessed by the experience. I’m so grateful. I did purchase the 5-year warranty and will be better off from it, because there’s not a kind of damage under the sun that isn’t covered. And if by some miracle I don’t want a full replacement, for any reason, after the 5 years and up to 90 days afterwards I can use that reimbursed cost as a store credit! What complaint could I feasibly have after an experience like that? Again - so blessed!! Blessed and grateful :)

If I could give zero stars I would. BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a large sectional couch from this store not even two years ago. The floor model they had was damaged and you could not sit in the middle of the couch. The salesman had told us there was an issue but to test out the other section of the couch. Maybe we were naive in believing him that the couch was damaged from it being a store model - but alas here we are and our couch has the same exact problem. The black mesh material that the cushions sit on is ripped. We cannot sit in the middle of the couch. I had purchased the 5-year protection plan and specifically asked if this was covered and was told yes. Again, my fault for not reviewing all the terms and conditions before agreeing to purchase. I tried to file a claim and of course it's not protected. I called the store directly and was told I can get the money back for the protection plan $190 as a store credit to use on a future purchase. That's it. They won't even pay to have someone fix the issue with the couch when they very well KNEW this was an issue with this model. Honestly, the cushions are all balled up on the material and have lost their sturdiness - and for a couch not even two years old where I spent over $2,000 - that's insane to me as well. Overall I WOULD NOT buy a couch from Ashley Furniture. Ever. Anywhere - but especially would not shop here.
I purchased the bardarson 4 piece sectional on 2/22 and was promised 8-12 Weeks delivery. Today’s date is 6/6 and I still haven’t received anything. They do not provide updates on your order, You constantly have to call to get updates. Last time I called, they said they have received everything except the loveseat. It’s been over two months they’ve been waiting for that love seat. I walked into the Woodbridge Ashley store and they had the Bardarson 4 piece in stock. I called to cancel my order in Ashley Falls church but they want to charge 10% cancellation fee. I’ll leave the fight to my credit card company.

Terrible experience, service was poor overall, with just one exception. Escalations are not effective. Delivery Logistics are outsourced and the process not well coordinated. Store supervisor was unprofessional and willing to throw team members under the bus and not take responsibility. Wouldn't recommend that store if one has other options.

We purchased a couch at this location and had a good sales experience. The team members were knowledgeable and friendly and able to answer all of our questions. Our salesperson's name was Kanan and he was very friendly and responsive to our needs, plus he was not rigid in negotiations which I very much appreciated because we came in with a budget we wanted to respect and I communicated that to him. Connie handled all the paperwork during the actual purchase process and she was very friendly, professional, and transparent. We knowingly purchased a couch that was not in stock at the warehouse, so we haven't been through the delivery experience yet, but as far as the in-store experience, it was very positive.

Kanan was not pushy and actually allowed me to make my own choice for my large purchase. This is my 4th large purchase at this location with Kanan and Connie. So, yes this was a seamless shopping experience.
I won't recommend anyone to buy anything from Ashley furnitures, I place a order last year for a dinning table, a foundation and a bed frame, I didn't realize that some of the items were in back order, after calling customer service they gave me an estimate, that my order was suppose to be ready 04/13/2022. I only got the foundation for my bed and until this day I'm still waiting for my items, it's been 6 months since I place my order no updates has been given, until today. I call once again and they tell me that the items are in back order and there's a 6-12 week wait, at this point I think anyone can understand my frustration. Do business somewhere else.

BEWARE!!! We bought a leather couch less than a year ago for $2000 from Ashley. There is already stitching coming undone on part of the couch. What makes it worse is that it's in the middle seat where we rarely sit (the middle part has a fold down arm rest that we use). I called the store and was told that the stitching is not covered under their 1 year warranty. Even though is specifically says on the website that seam slippage is covered!! We had a horrible experience with the delivery and now an even worse experience with the customer service. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

My wife and I have been looking for furniture that was reasonably priced for the past 6 months. Everywhere that we’ve went has had very aggressive salespeople. Maria was extremely patient, helpful, and even gave me discounts and was on our side throughout the whole process. Highly recommend Maria! 10/10!
Kanan helped us to find a beautiful bed set, two night stands and a dresser all for a very reasonable price and available for delivery within a week of purchase. It all looks great in our new house!

Highly recommend NOT buying in store here. It’s way better to try out the furniture and then buy online as online prices are significantly cheaper. We found a couch in store that was $300 cheaper online as well as an ottoman that was $150 cheaper online and ships sooner than what would ship from the store. Not to mention taxes and furniture protection plans are cheaper online. The sales associate that tried to sell to us said that you have to pay the delivery/assembly fee or else you can’t get the protection plan, which isn’t true. We were able to order online and do doorstep delivery for free with a furniture protection plan. Hoping you can con people into paying more in your store is not a very successful way to compete with other stores. Especially when people have the sense to take 20 seconds to use Google to confirm pricing and availability.
We have had a good year 2021 except this TRAUMA. We purchased a sectional sofa in Dec 2020 from Ashly Furniture Falls church, VA and we were told it would be delivered within 4-12 weeks. however, we did not receive it until may/June 2021. after we received the sofa, the quality was not good enough. So, We needed to return part of the sofa & paid additional $100 pick-up fee and then the store wanted to charge us 30% restocking fee. We spoke to customer service & due to their late delivery timeline & poor customer Service communication, they agreed to charge us 10% cancelation fee instead. After a few back and forth with them, we went to Ashly furniture falls church to get our refund. one of the customer manager we spoke to reiterate that we were to be charged 10% fee-not 30%. The store manager disagreed & insisted that he's going to charge us 30%. We repeated to him the conversations we've been having with them, but the store manager (he said his name is Ray) and he was not even wearing a name tag) escalated it...started shouting & yelling at us. This was unnecessary so we started recording our interaction."Ray" demanded that we stopped recording, or he'll call the police & said,"I PROMISE YOU, I WILL GET YOU ARRESTED" We told him that was his choice to do so. He called 911 & claimed that he was being "harassed" by a customer; we called 911 as well & told the police what was really happening.When the Police arrived, "Ray” asked the police to make us delete the recording & escort us out.The Police told him we had every right to record the conversation as the Police himself was recording this event as well.The Police told us to deal with the refund issue with the appropriate party & to keep paper trail. We submitted compliant to BBB and we received our refund a couple of weeks ago. This process has been physically, emotionally draining & it has been causing unnecessary distress to us. BBB to take the appropriate measure as there are multiple complaint online & this store manager/location to be held accountable for the emotional distress they have caused to customers. Advice to Ashley HQ, knowing that COVID is impacting the supply chain don’t give false promises of 8-12 weeks, tell customers it could take 28 weeks or more. I have my doubts you will change this policy but I have a glimmer of hope that maybe you will.
Good selection of furniture, but their advertised sale pricing is BS. Rather than discounting their normal, everyday pricing, they calculate the discount on a "compare at" price that is grossly inflated.
This store had many nice furniture pieces on display. However there is currently a very long delay of anywhere from one to four months for furniture to be delivered. The sales rep who assisted me was helpful, but pushy and followed me around the store when I just wanted to scope out items. I literally had to ask him to just give me a minute and I will find him when I was ready to talk about the pieces I was looking for. The pushy reps made my experience poor. One thing I noticed is that many of the furniture items did not have a label or name on them. This means that for everything you were interested in, you would have to ask the rep for details on the pricing. It would save a lot of time if I was able to just literally look at the name And price of the item directly, especially since the store is so big. It seems like the associate did not want to tell me the names of items, which I found to be odd. If I am looking at multiple pieces of furniture and comparing prices, it is helpful as a shopper to know exactly what I’m looking at since there are so many items. There was also a huge push to buy items in store, although many were listed for much cheaper online. He also try to sell me a couch that had visible damage on it. I think this was just to make the sale

I was skeptical about purchasing from Ashley based on reviews and experience with online chats. Mr Basil and Mr Ray so far seem to be straight forward with everything. Customer service was ok! They were honest about the delay with shipping. Overall an average experience. I haven’t received my furniture yet. I will keep everyone updated. 12/4 - called store. No updates. No delivery. I purchased a furniture June 7,2021 with the expected delivery date of 8-12 weeks . Its Now the end of November and I still dont have a furniture. Called to get my money refunded and I’m being told they will take 30% for restocking. Customer service is a joke, and the sales associate Maher Alkhalil never follow up or update me on the status of my furniture. This store does not deserve even a 1 star. Total waste of time - support your local furniture stores during this time vs. this franchise!!!! My wife and I purchased several thousands of dollars of furniture May 2021. Our items were promised within 12-weeks. After being delayed 4 times throughout the 12-week timeframe we encountered 3.5 straight months of “NO ETA / Shipping updates / Expected timelines”…. Nothing. Our experience resulted in this store holding on to thousands dollars for 6-months with nothing to show for it. We asked for a full refund. REFUNDS ARE ONLY PROVIDED ON ORIGINAL STORE PREMISE , which meant driving 55 miles to finally get a refund. Absolute waste of time… support your local furniture stores instead.

I bought many items with the cost of items greater than $6,000 and I found out that the items are of poor quality. In addition to that, they sent me a mattress that I did not choose at the store; I tried to return it in less than a month by explaining the situation, but no one even cared to manage the case. I tried calling the store or going in person, but no one cared to help me. I do not know how they still exist with this level of unprofessionalism! I could not find 0 or below; They don’t deserver 1.

Ashley is the worst furniture store I have bought from. We bought a bed and waited one month for them to delivery it, two days before it broke and now ther are telling me that they will fix it in 3 more months. So I have a broken king bed where I can't sleep. And Everytime I call, the response is. Sorry that is how it is. So really don't buy there if you want quality and prompt furniture, this is not the place.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY! We have had the absolute WORST retail experience! Contradicting back and forth communication from service reps. Order not available with given date. Once items were received the furniture was damaged (BRAND NEW DAMAGED COUCH) and they are "unable to exchange". We had to pay $75 for fabric to be sent to our house, then wait over a month to get in contact with the tech to come to our house to fix the couch, only for us to have him to come out a fix a month and a half later. When he arrived he was unable to fix the couch and the fabric that was sent to us was incorrect. Ashley furniture will not provide refund, only store credit. I will never buy anything from them again nor will I refer them to anyone else! Not even worth 1 star!!
I ordered my sofa in May. It still has not been delivered. I filed a complaint with BBB. The business responded to my complaint stating the furniture will arrive at the end of September. I called the store on 23 September and they stated the furniture still has not arrived at their warehouse. In the response to my complaint, I was also told that my purchase was not from an enterprise location but was made through a Sammy Furniture licensee. Whatever that means…
this store is trash, filled with crooks. these thieves are charging me $1530 for merchandise I never received, merchandise that they could not deliver even after 6 month of waiting. they cancelled my order and have not and will not refund me my money so I'm left with no merchandise or my money back. every time I call for help I get some girl named Nora who knows nothing of what she is talking about and keeps giving me the run around absolute trash! I'm never shopping at this location again, no wonder they are rated only 3 stars. they don't even deserve one star! i will be filling complaints with he better business bureau and the corporate office and I'm having my lawyers draw up correspondences. Basil at Crossroads Center was absolutely fantastic. He was very professional and worked hard to make sure we found our perfect sofa. The delivery was also wonderful. No complications, they made sure to get my sofa in and up safely.

UPDATE: Terrible customer service. My item has been late for a month now. No updates from the store, I have to call in for that. Each time they give me a new even further delivery date. They have consistently told me over the phone that they will talk to the store manager and call me back. I have never received a call back. I was forced to call their corporate office and the employee recommended that I just get a full refund since the item has been so far overdue. This business has many broken business processes. I would highly recommend going through a different vendor to avoid the headache I have gone through.
Bought a couch in April. The salesman, using common salesman techniques of promising quick delivery told us we'd get it by end of May. End of May came and no couch. I called and then got told June 15. Then 20th. Then 28/29th. After that July 15. Then came August 1st.... Now the new date is sometime in October. Looks like they're just kicking the can down the line. Update. I wish I had previously rated it 2 stars so I could drop it lower. After waiting until the date they have been telling me for over 2 months (even called last week to confirm), it is now pushed back even more. An Ashley furniture representative reached out after my initial low review to try to address my concerns, and after telling me they'd get me a list of couches in stock, I never heard back. I was also told Mark (the salesman who told me in April we'd get the couch in May) would reach out and give me a list of couches in stock... Never heard from him.
TLDR: I was fine paying for quality, but I got sandpaper instead. First, the customer service was adequate and the delivery was fairly efficient.That is, however, where the positive feedback ends. For anyone unfamiliar with this store, the furniture is VERY expensive. I'd estimate anything on their floor or in their catalog costs about twice what comparable furniture from a competitor. But there's something to be said about seeing the furniture in person and paying for quality. So, I bought a dining room table set from here that was quite expensive! Way beyond IKEA/Wayfair prices. The floor model was excellant and worth the price, but the furniture I received certainly was not. The chairs were about what was expected, but the table is terrible. It looks fine to the eye, but it feels quite rough to the touch--almost like it was never finished properly. As is, the table pretty much requires a table cloth unless you want to exfoliate all your skin off everytime you sit at it. If I knew I'd end up having to cover up the table with a table cloth, I would have just bought a table from somewhere else that would have charged 1/5 the cost and not grossly misrepresented the quality of their wares.

I was extremely pleased with the personalized level of service I received - both while checking in-stock items over the phone and while in the showroom. Everyone I spoke with was professional and courteous, and committed to making sure I was happy with the furniture I purchased. Was able to pick it up from the warehouse on the same day. 10/10 would recommend!!

Kanan was very helpful, candid, and pleasant to work with. However, the wait time for most items in the showroom was 8-12 weeks and delivery for the very few items in the warehouse is two weeks. Ashely Furniture needs to optimize its business practices in order to remain relevant in a fast paced city. We ended up buying most of what we needed online.
We went for a Fourth of July Sale when everything was 60% off of it's tag. The marked down prices simply could not be beat and we've searched at numerous other furniture stores. We were greeted immediately by one of the sales representatives who showed us exactly what we were looking for and then let us browse at our leisure without any pressure. Not only did the sales rep understand what we were looking for, he even helped us with color matching and sizing! What a great, easy, and productive experience. I recommend this store (granted the actual furniture hasn't arrived yet) for the customer service alone.
Apparently the website and the actual store have nothing to do with each other, and their policies about price matching things dont matter, nor will they honor any discounts you can claim. Still hought a piece of furniture, but i do regret it. Id recommend going to Value City even Bob’s. Wont make a purchase from any Ashley’s again. Save yourself the trouble.

Our salesperson Wassim provided the best balance of availability with allowing us to peruse the showroom and test the sofas on our own, e.g., no high-pressure salesmanship. The store itself has a very good selection of furniture from which to choose. We can't wait for the sofa to arrive!
Jan 2022 I take this earlier review back. We ordered our couch July 5th, 2021. It has been pushed out multiple times and now it's March 2022 and we have cancelled. The issue wasn't all supply chain, we know it's a big issue. But we would be told "end of December" and come end of December we'd call and they'd have pushed it 2 months. No update, no proactive heads up. We were calling weekly just to check in. These are all franchised. We went to the Leesbueg, VA one and they showed us a couch in stock and it's being delivered in 3 days. Would go back to Leesburg location. They were amazing and helpful and transparent. I will never step foot in the Falls Church, VA location again. July 2021 Mark was super helpful! He did a great job giving us space to browse but also finding us when we needed him to go over options and pricing. So happy we had him to help us with our dining room table and couch purchase!

DONT SHOP HERE!!! Terrible customer service.. After purchase they never follow up with you despite constantly push the delivery date without notifying. If you dont call or go in person nothing gets done. They could have delivery my sectional 1-2 month in advance but they were waiting for a tiny piece… And it was not until I complain 3-4 times that they offered me that alternative. Also it took 2-3 months to be able to use a coupon corporate gave me.. TERRIBLE!! they dont know how their own coupons work
I purchased a new sofa chaise from Maher Alkhalil (Mark) on 6/19/2021. Initially, I visited the store and found the furniture I wanted and then went to a competitor's store to review the quality and price. Later in the day, I returned to Ashley HomeStore and met with Mark and informed Mark I was ready to purchase. While at the store both times, Mark offered information and was available for questions without being too aggressive. I greatly appreciated this approach and I will return to Ashley HomeStore again to find Mark! You will not go wrong with Ashley HomeStore and the quality of their furniture! Thank you so much!
If you're looking at reviews let me confirm a lot of the 1 star issues. Is the furniture overpriced? Yes, Unless you find yourself there with 50% off deals, expect to pay more for less. Is the furniture good quality? You will notice that the furniture is either easily damaged or damaged upon delivery quite often. My table included. How is the customer service? Depends why you're there and who you're talking to. Obviously salesman are salesman and you need to remember that they're there to make money off of you. So a nice attitude when you're inclined to make a purchase is expected. Listen, it's my fault for believing that Ashley HomeStore still had a good reputation that I thought they had. I should have done my research, I should have read the reviews, but I jumped the gun and paid the price. Almost a 6 month wait time on furniture. Delivery damage, paying additional costs on reselection for furniture that just wouldn't get here, Refusal to repair damaged furniture, and inconsistent customer service aide. For Kanan, you're a good salesman, you were very polite. Unfortunately you work for a dysfunctional store that does cause a lot of frustration to it's customers. Remember, do you're research. The decision on where you take your business is ultimately on you.

0 stars. We are completely UNSATISFIED with the customer service received on our order. The store is unable to provide actual order status information - this is UNSAT and unbelievable for 2021. Ordered sofa, chair, ottoman and end tables in February - chair, ottoman, and end tables arrived late, we are STILL WAITING on the couch. Have been told for four weeks in a row, AFTER the expected delivery window, that the ETA is the next week. I understand delays due to COVID, but the store CANNOT tell me actual status of the order, status of it being manufactured, nor do they have an actual shipping manifest for orders being sent to their warehouse so they cannot tell me if my sofa is actually on the next weeks order. This is logistics and customer service 101 that you have failed at. You have the potential to be soo much better than this. UNACCEPTABLE - the manager on duty today would not send an e-mail documenting the new ETA of now 9 June. Called CORPORATE twice now! Had to lodge a complaint for the delivery team for the chair that would not properly wear masks while in our residence, after being asked multiple times. UNSAT as I have an unvaccinated child in the house. Either provide status of being fully vaccinated or wear masks properly! Now waiting “3-5 business days” to be called back by a manager/supervisor from corporate. I had a positive experience before at a store in Florida which is why I went back to this company - but this order experience and complete lack of knowledgeable customer service has changed my mind for future orders. Now trying to figure out what to do with the chair since we don’t have a matching sofa yet.
I knew exactly what I wanted when I walked into the store and Mark helped me purchase it immediately. He even helped me get a 60% discount! He made it incredibly easy and was willing to answer any questions I had about their couches and sleeper sofas. I would highly recommend asking for Mark if you are shopping at this location.

I've had two separate (and stellar) experiences at this store now. The first when I bought my new couch, and the second when I decided to upgrade it to a sleeper. In both instances, I was treated with genuine care and respect. If you're like me, and happened to find cheaper prices online, go ahead and fake a checkout. I noticed the same thing and went back to see what the deal was. With the added delivery and service fees of an online purchase, your best bet is to go in person. In total, it was much cheaper shopping in-person than shopping online. Trust me on this one. Special thanks to Ray and Kate for helping me figure this out. They were able to smoothly adjust my existing order for the upgrade. It was completely painless during an otherwise busy holiday weekend. I was seen quickly, and was able to exit the store soon after. Amazing work to everyone who works there!
Had a great experience shopping for a bedroom set at Ashley's in Falls Church today. Pirooz was very attentive throughout our stay, and helpful when we couldn't decide between two sets. Eventually we made a decision and he helped us get the best deal possible! Great steal! And Nura was helpful with a quick and easy checkout - and we even hung around a bit longer to finish singing a song with the front desk manager.
After moving to DC, I went to Ashley HomeStore to buy some furniture for my new apartment. As i walked in, Kabir ( the sales person who took care of me) welcome me with a warm smile and helped me a lot during this process. Kabir gave me his professional opinion and explained to me in details about each and every inquiry that I had ( about the texture and materials). He did such a good job, I ended up buying furniture for my entire apartment. Also, CSR Nura made sure that our experience was a good one, and she made the process really easy for me, since i'm a student and I don't know much about the procedures. Honestly, i can say that my experience at Ashley HomeStore could be rated with 5-Stars. I would recommend buying your furniture and accessories from Ashley HomeStore, and believe me, you'll be as happy as I am! PS: there was a 60% discount!! Supper affordable, good quality supplies!!

Ashley delivery service is not deserving even 1 star. I placed my order mid January and I am still waiting for my sofa. They've been telling us that they are still waiting for few items and extend/delay our delivery. Seriously??? 5 months for a sofa. This is absolutely ridiculous. The sales person told us that ETA for delivery is 2, maximum 3 months but that is incorrect. We are very disappointed! 04/06 Update. After 6 moths of waiting we got finally our sofa...with one item that is damaged. The zipper is broken and there is a hole from a hit. NEVER Ashley HS again. You don't deserve even 1 star.

This store is a Joke and the manager Ray is so arrogant and clueless. we heard the same lies and excuses every single status updates from sales reps to office manager (RAY) and it was a fraudulent promises. We filed a complaint with BBB and our complaint has been sent to the business for their response. In the meantime, we've a plan to submit a legal compliant to FCC (the Lanham Act) and possible legal action. I believe #BBB and #FCC to take the appropriate measure as there are multiple complaint online & this store to be held accountable.
Two stars because I like their furniture - buying experience & customer service is terrible. In store experience : I had looked online and found a loveseat I liked for $580. I went into the Falls Church store and saw the loveseat listed in-store for $1500! YIKES. The sales person asked me if I was interested and I said yes, but I was not going to pay the in-store fee. He said he was able to honor the fee I saw online, but I had to show him on the website because he did not initially believe me. I was right though and the current price of the item was about 1/3 of what I saw on the store pricetag. I did not like that had I not done my own research, i would have only been offered a fee almost 3 times the price. It made me very skeptical of buying anything else. He told me there would be a $250 delivery fee on top, but that it was going to be the same online. He said we could have it delivered within 5 business days, great! I walked around the store and when I came back I waited for about 15 minutes in line to be helped... but then I gave up. If I can get the same price online, what is the incentive for buying in-store? However, my online experience was not great either. First, I found that it was going to be 6 weeks before it could be delivered. Since the person in store told me 5 days I called the Falls Church Store. They said they couldn't take credit card over the phone so if I wanted quick delivery I needed to come back to the store. I said I would rather wait 6 weeks. i don't own a car and I had such a negative experience it wasn't worth it. It worked out because I discovered online that my $250 delivery fee was waived! So thank goodness I didn't buy in-store, the sales associate was not telling the truth that i couldn't get a cheaper deal online. But the other part I did not like is that the price of the item was charged as a pending fee to my credit card every week! Every single week i got a new credit card charge and the old one had disappeared. They were not charging me multiple times, but it is impossible to budget accordingly when your cc statement is constantly fluctuating. I did not like this. Finally, I didn't get a say in my delivery time they just sent me an email every time it was rescheduled, but the people who moved it in were great, very efficient, and on time.

Quality of furniture his is slightly higher than Bobs and Value City Furniture. Salespeople are slightly more motivated to sell and this results in more information but also more pressure. Most of the furniture has just 1-3 fabric options whereas the others have a bit more. Come here for a simple shopping experience with high quality furniture at a slight premium.
Probably the nicest Ashley's I've been in. Furniture quality is good and the store employee very courteous. Plenty of parking and everyone wore masks and distanced.
Purchased a sectional back in January that was supposed to arrive in five weeks... it’s been over 3 months and still have not received my couch. Called so many times and continue getting the runaround. I’m beyond frustrated and am ready to cancel my purchase.

Hello I purchased furniture and was mis led by delivery of items purchased. After waiting 2 months for items the driver came to my house called my cell phone did not receive an answer as I set in my window they were outside my house for 15 minutes. When I dialed the miss call number the motor started on the delivery truck. When the driver answered the phone he was evasive, I said are you delivery furniture. He said yes we were there, he is gone must reschedule. I called the store and was told I have to pay 75 dollars. I called dispatch in Maryland to resolve same thing must reschedule and pay 75 dollars the dispatch manger says the driver took a picture of the front door. I did not see a driver at any time. What a way to rip off people. I had to go to store pay 75 during COVID would not take phone payment. The items I paid for must go back into inventory. It will take 48 hours to record. Then dispatch will call for another delivery date. Still waiting on items purchased Jan 5th. Will see if I have to pay another 75 dollars.
Kabir and Hermela were exceptional!!. He was everything you'd want in a sales person. Attentive, cordial, he remembered our names when we returned and was eager to answer all of our questions. Kabir even convinced his manager to extend certain courtesies. Hermela closed out the deal expeditiously, didn't waste our time. This was our second visit and we were ready to seal the deal and she made it happen without any delay. Our experience was absolutely wonderful! There's an Ashley Furniture store near me, but with Kabir's and Hermela's service, it's worth the drive.

I looking for a reasonable priced Bedroom suit. I checked other stores prices and their prices was just not in my budget. Went to Ashley's and found the best price ( including delivery) for what I needed for my new home. Big shoutout to Mr. Wassim, Mr. Kabir, Mr. Ray and Ms. Katy! You guys are the best!
After being treated rudely by a competitor, the staff at Ashley in Falls church were amazing. I was greeted at the door and Introduced to my salesperson, Kabir. He was informative and attentive but not pushy. He let me wander when I wanted to wander but stayed within earshot if I had a question. Connie at the desk was just as pleasant and efficiently handled my payment. Would definitely go again and looking forward to my new Dining set!
Do not order furniture from them! We have been waiting since September 2020 for our living room furniture...we have gotten so many excuses from, pandemic related to one piece of furniture is here but other is not, and another excuse is - we have a shipment coming to our warehouse but can’t tell us what’s in that shipment and where the warehouse is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME - there are better reputable furniture companies out there. Ashley Home Furniture is a joke.

I went into Ashley Homestore in Falls Church looking for something very specific. I needed a nice looking but relatively small sleeper sofa to fit our limited floor space. I was welcomed by Wassim. He was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about their products. He was attentive without being aggressive. I went to a couple other stores later to shop around before buying, and some of these other people basically attack you as soon as your foot crosses the showroom threshold. The People at Bob's were pretty friendly but there was definitely much more pressure to buy right away. They wanted me to buy the sofa and call later to cancel if I wanted... Anyway, it was super overwhelming. I ended up going right back over to Ashley Homestore where everything felt much more relaxed! Wassim helped me get the best price on the options I wanted and patiently waited while I called my partner to check some specifics. He made sure that I knew there might be some delays because of Covid related supply issues, but that they would call to schedule delivery as soon as the sofa came in. The CSR was Harmela and she was also very professional and personable. She made sure all the paperwork was accurate and answered any questions I had about payment. This is actually the 2nd sofa I have bought from this store, and I have been really pleased with the service. I know they can't help a product being on back order or delayed by Covid, but everything that they have control over was smooth, easy, and professional. I definitely recommend them!! Thanks
Went in nearly 3 weeks ago and the sales rep, Maria C. was kind enough to help me. She did her level best to try and support my needs, and I eventually did decide to purchase a few items of which included a sleeper sectional, a mattress (which she had told me could be picked up anytime), and a dresser. Fast forward to days after the purchase; no response from the sales reps or professionals working with Ashley whatsoever. No tracking information was provided and I would literally have to call in everyday to inquire on the status of my delivery. Not only the that, the lack of timeline consistency was frustrating. I was told by several reps that I would receive my items by end of March. Then I was told beginning of April. The last call I had, the rep had told me I wouldn't receive my items till mid-june. When I requested to cancel and get a refund, she told me it was not possible unless I come into the store. I conveyed I live on the West coast and I wouldnt be able to do so. Today, I tried calling and rather than answer my call, someone picked up and let me in on their typing. By far, the worst customer experience to date -- I had to ultimately dispute the charges
The worst general managers in the history of being a general manager Mr. Ray...doesn’t care about customer service throughout the buying process.This gentleman totally ignored the customer at a time of need, his co-worker tried to help the customer as best as possible. General manager Mr. Ray was setting next to sales staff never turned around to help!!!! therefore I left falls church VA to the Ritchie Station (Maryland) location. Staff was very nice, I want my total refund back!!!! I was going to buy furniture with the credit from Falls Church location. Corporate office transferred credit to the Ritchie station location after further review I want total refund back… Please do not order for from the Falls Church location.

There are FAR too many sales reps literally stalking you around the floor for one, but despite that I showed up with plans to purchase both a dining set and a loveseat listed on their website and shown on their showroom floor. They had neither in stock anywhere. They then looked at related items that also had no stock anywhere. The only option was to wait 8-14 weeks to get any of the multiple things I went in there for on backorder. tl;dr - Don't bother going to this store without confirming they have it in stock first. The showroom is false advertising and they do not sell their floor models either. I ended up going to Value City Furniture and purchased my loveseat there with a waiting period of 48 hours.
Worse than 0 stars. Our couch broke beyond repair in less than a year, due to poor construction of its base. A technician was sent to take a look and his repair did not even hold for 1 week. DO NOT bother purchasing a warranty either. We did and were told it did not cover the broken baseboard. After countless hours on hold, speaking with the store manager, and on the phone with the repair center, no one was able to help. Each person dismissed the issue as something they could do nothing about. If you are told there is a one year warranty on your furniture, that is not exactly true. Our broken couch was written off as a "customer use" problem and therefore could not be fixed. Of course we use our couch (though I would consider it limited to moderate use). Customer service is of no help. Will definitely be telling our friends moving here to buy elsewhere. I should also note that we have had issues with Ashley from the day our furniture was delivered. We did not receive a call beforehand to let us know the timeframe for delivery. I got a call before 8am the morning of, letting me know the furniture would be delivered in about 20 minutes, although we would not even have the keys to move into the building until 9am. The driver said he couldn't do anything but suggested if I paid him he might be able to come back later (rather than pay Ashley a new delivery fee).
I was having really bad pain in my lower back all the way down my legs. I went to the chiropractor, acupuncturist and physical therapist and the next step was to get a better bed. Wassim helped us find the perfect bed frame without us going over our budget. It was a really good experience and we plan on returning once we have the funds to purchase bedroom sets for our three children.
The staff almost leave you alone when you tell them that you are just browsing, which is nice. Still felt like we were being stalked though.
BUYER BEWARE! BE CAREFUL WITH ASHLEY: When the salesperson worked with us to find a couch, we were concerned about some of the dimensions being close to our door frames (although smaller). Salesperson assured us that delivery crew could make it work. With this assurance we made the purchase. However, when the delivery crew showed up, they said that it wouldn't be possible to move the couch inside. When my spouse called working to request a refund, not only was there no guarantee in the contract, but that the contract included a 30% "restocking fee" if we did not exchange for alternate furniture. If a salesperson promises you that the delivery crew can get furniture within dimensions, ask for it in writing. Otherwise, they are just working to make a sale. If the furniture doesn't fit into your house, the standard contract allows Ashley to hold your money hostage. We felt duped, and ended up selecting a different piece of furniture that we didn't really want so that we did not forfeit several hundred dollars and have anything to show for it. Needless to say, with these misrepresentations, we're not happy and do not recommend Ashley until they include a delivery guarantee to their contracts.
Don't bother looking at prices online. This store does not honor those prices online. I walked in ready to purchase (cash). After receiving such a higher quote (hundreds of dollars more) than that shown online I was left with no other choice but to seek the competitor across the street.
I purchased, paid in full up-front for a couch on December 3rd -- It is now March 3rd. Not only do I not have my couch, but I have never once been contacted about my order. Every time I have called to check on my order, I was told it would likely be on the next shipment. First it was early January, then the beginning of February, then the beginning of March, now the beginning of April. The most recent time I called, I was told that they appreciate patient customers and that if I wanted I could cancel my order for no fee as if that was them doing me a favor. After finally escalating my issue up the chain to the general manager, I was told completely new information about why my couch was delayed (that it was the manufacturer) -- information that might have been useful a few months ago when this problem started. I understand that we are in unprecidented times, but it is not my fault that your supplier is having difficulties. It is your job to make things right for me. Things like calling me to let me know that my order is going to be more delayed than originally thought, or even just returning my calls as promised when no mangers are currently avaiable. You should be fighting for your customer, not making your customer fight with you. The lack of support I have been given since I placed my order is insane, and I do not intend to continue shopping at Ashley Furniture stores.
Deceptive pricing. Was told they “can’t guarantee price match with online prices” I guess the Ashley Online and the stores are franchises. Pretty absurd. Found a better furniture store with clear selling standards

The cheapest furniture. I bought the warranty which cost almost 1/3 of the price of the furniture and they refused to honor it. The furniture may look decent in the show room but it’s absolute garbage.
Ok. So I should have read the reviews before going to this location other than the sales person Rania being very polite and nice. There’s nothing else about my experience after the sale was done, actually while even at the register the lady practically questioned me about being the card holder ... I said Ma’am match my ID. So here’s the thing they’re going to tell you because of the pandemic shipments are delayed but it should be 6 weeks for your order even though on the order shows 8 to 12 weeks so you will sign. Then when you call ... waited 7 weeks they tell you statement says up to 12 weeks. When you point out online free shipping, they say that’s Ashley... we are a franchise. They then told me I should get my order by Jan 21. No call yet. I’m not going to call because the manager Ray will not care about what his reps say and just say note says 8 to 12 weeks. Feb 13 will be 12 weeks. I will call, will update what was said. Btw now I’m seeing they don’t issue refunds just store credit. Bottom excuse at this location “ we are a franchise!” What the heck is that supposed to mean ... Ashley Llc if you’re seeing this get your franchise training team involved at this location. So folks if you really want to buy from Ashley furniture buy online. I do believe in supporting Mortar and Brick locations but when your excuse is we are a franchise then you should not be have the name Ashley on your storefront if you do not plan to live up to the name. Franchise or not!

They will never deliver your items on time. I ordered a couch the first week of November. It’s now January 8th. First they said eta was December. Now February. They lie to get a sale. I ordered the same items from Bobs Discount furniture and it arrived within two weeks. Do not trust the salesman there.
The lady (Connie) or however you spell it does not know what customer service is. She swore that the customer was wrong even when they were not and insisted on doing nothing. I wouldn’t recommend doing business with her. Other associates are a better option.
Unfortunately I have to give 1 star purely for the deception they gave us. First, our experience at the store and the buying process was very good. They gave us an option to get a warranty where if we needed a professional cleaning to our sofa within 5 years of the date we purchased we could get that, and if we didn’t use the warranty, they would give us “a check” for the amount we paid for the warranty which was $129.95. It was presented to us as a “no lose” warranty because we would either get a cleaning or our money back. A little over 5 years later, I called to get our check because we didn’t use the cleaning service, and they said they couldn’t give us the money back because we hadn’t called before the 5 years date (it wasn’t even 90 days after the 5 year date). They then said, we could get a credit for the money if we shopped at that exact Ashley store. When I told them we moved, and that I would be willing to accept a credit at an Ashley’s store in Ohio, they said no. In conclusion, I was willing to work with them even when they went back on their original promise to us. This wasn’t a “no lose” warranty like it was presented, but rather a sleazy business tactic to present the customer with a “warranty” and hope the customer forgets about until it’s too late. It’s really too bad because I would be willing to give 5 stars if they would just work with us even with a credit to a different Ashley’s store. We would probably even end up spending more money with them as well. Instead they chose to engage in a short-sighted business practice where they may get into legal hot water as well as receive a bad mark.

Please avoid this store as much as you can, buy a dining room set on "sale" since October and the receipt said that I should receive it on December 5, until today I have not received anything and not a call of apology For the delay or anything, we have gone to the store to ask for the refund of the money since we cannot wait any longer, the staff there is rude and they do not help at all, and they do not want to give me back the money because they say that the purchase was final In any case, the receipt shows a date that they have not yet respected, and they don't even give me a date to receive it. I regret so much bought in this store, the employees there are so noisy and when you talk to them they leave you with a feeling of helplessness and anger. If anyone knows of a customer service number where I can make a claim for my money to be returned, please send it to me, I don't want to spend Christmas and New Years without having where to sit my children to eat their dinner. thanks.
Very limited selection of living room sets and higher price points than others. I saw the same sofa for half the price in another store.
AVOID THIS STORE AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I never provide reviews, but the customer service I have experienced has been terrible. I ordered a couch 6 months into COVID and was told it would be 2-6 weeks for delivery. I called after 4 weeks to ask for an update and was given an estimate of 2 weeks from then. I then called every 2 weeks for an update and they kept pushing the estimate back 2 weeks. Here I am 3.5 months later and low and behold, they estimate the couch will arrive in 2 weeks. They blame the delays on COVID but they definitely knew there were significant delays when I ordered the couch and failed to inform me. They absolutely knew 2-6 weeks was a pipe dream from the beginning, and they are still stringing me along today. The couch might not arrive for another 2-3 months and they will keep providing estimates of another 2 weeks until that is finally true. Avoid this store, and take your business somewhere that respects their customers for more than a credit card swipe.
Beautiful place and BEAUTIFUL furniture. But with a BIG but: Employees didn't approach me because I was in a tshirt and jeans. I HAVE MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING IN THAT STORE, and I was looking for a living room set. I bet that if I go in my working clothes they would run to offer me help. I don't think I will go again... and I wont recommend my friends to go either. Update Edit 11/27/2020: I forgot to add this because I was mad and disappointed. I returned to this store a couple of days later with my regular work clothes, which is in a suit and tie, to prove my point and employees were all over me like flies. I never went back. Definitely, I will never go to this store again and will never recommend it to my family or friends
I called to ask for an update on the status of my order and was told it would come in on Thursday. I verified if it was one item or the whole living room set. They looked at the order and said that yes, everything was coming in to the store Thursday, and would be delivered on Saturday. I call again on Friday to ask for an update and they say it's not in yet. This follows for over two months before I decide to cancel the order. It may not come as a surprise they another month has gone by trying to get either my money or my furniture and no luck with either. For an individual, this is called theft, but for Ashley Home Store, this is called "policy."

We're hopeful our issue gets resolved quickly and I can update this review soon. We paid the extra set up fee to have our headboard set up professionally. When our furniture was delivered today, the delivery person said he had never had to put a headboard on and couldn't do it. (It's not really that hard but we paid a fee -$150 to have this done). Delivery person didn't even unpack the headboard, read the instructions or have tools for set up. We reject the delivery of the heard board, but when I called Customer Service to let them know what happened, they told me I would be charged a 30% item fee since the item would have to be re-stocked (and I wouldn't get the $150 back). The Customer Service agent said I would be called when this item arrived at the warehouse. No real conversation about much at all. I would have liked to explain to her that if they could just get another delivery person out who could actually set up our furniture AS WE HAVE PAID for, we are happy to have this delivered, but she kept focusing on either a return or replacement pieces as the only options for us. Frankly, I got better Customer Service from Overstock last week through their text option than this live person at Ashley. Super-disappointed with the delivery person's attitude, LACK of set up service and the fact I would be charged a re-stock fee for their errors. Will update when I hear from a manager or as this situation continues to unfold.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We had just moved to the area and the only thing we have in our bedroom is our bed and 2 old nightstands. We went to this store in person and were able to find a complete bedroom set that we liked. We spent over $3,000 here and were told it would be delivered within 2-6 weeks. At the 7 week mark we hadn't heard anything. No phone call, no email, no smoke signal, nada. So we called and they explained that things were taking a little longer because of COVID. Totally understandable. However, they couldn't give us an estimated time frame of when it would be ready. It has now been 8 MORE weeks and still no communication from them whatsoever on what is going on. It has been 15 weeks. 15 weeks without the furniture that we paid OVER $3,000 for. 15 weeks of no communication, no updates, nothing. We were warned not to use Ashley but we decided to give them a shot anyway. Boy, are we regretting that now! Save yourself the stress and shop somewhere else
I would not recommend ordering from this store. The furniture is sub par quality, for a price that is more often than not over priced. We also ordered a chair over 6 months ago and still have not received it. When we call to ask about the order the timeline keeps getting pushed back. Buyer beware.
The store manager followed up and offered a great solution to my issue. I do enjoy my furniture that I've purchased from this store. The mattress has been especially fantastic.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I went to the store in person because they were supposedly having amazing sales that were better than the online prices. The items I wanted were not in the store so I left to go home and take my time looking online for the items. I then found things I wanted. I called the store to make the order and was told I could only get the in store prices if I came back to the store. That’s fair, right? So I drive back to the store and when I get there, the prices I was quoted was MORE expensive than the online prices. Now, they did match the online prices, but I could have ordered it online and saved a trip to the store. I signed the contract saying it will be delivered between 2 and 6 weeks from the day of purchase. When it was 6 weeks out, I called to check on it. They said, ma’am it’s only been 5 weeks. I counted weeks again and said, no, it’s definitely 6 weeks. Then she said, well, the contract says you can’t get a refund until 8 weeks. I said, I just want to know where the furniture is, not a refund. I called back at 8 weeks and I’m told it would be delivered that Thursday. So I make myself available to receive the delivery on Thursday. Then they did not arrive. So I called and they said, no, ma’am that’s not what we said, we said it would reach the warehouse on Thursday. (No, I was not mistaken.) anyway, Then I call back at 9 weeks and am told it was still not delivered to the warehouse. So I decided to cancel my order because I wanted furniture in my house. I had been very patient and paid far too much money to wait this long. I asked for a full refund and they say will apply the refund to my card and it will take 2-5 business days. They even verified the last four numbers of my card!!!! Then, I called back 7 days later and was told the “note in the system says” customer will come in to store to receive refund!!!!! The communication with this particular store is awful! Horrible experience. I will NEVER shop here again and will warn everyone I know to avoid this store.
I would caution anyone from purchasing from Ashley HomeStore. I purchased a new king bed frame from the store and have not been able to use it since it arrived. First off, the furniture was delivered with a terrible chemical smell that literally took weeks to dissipate even with multiple fans running on it 24/7. Secondly, their furniture may look nice but it is poorly made and cheap. Literally 7 days after the bed was delivered the side board "wood" split . This is where the company shows their true colors. The furniture has a 1 year manufacturer's warranty- if you mention even sitting on the bed as part of when damage occurred then the manufacturers warranty is void. We bought an extended warranty as well, but be warned... the sales representatives will make it sound like the extended warranty is the best thing since sliced bread... but its not. It only covers superficial damage like scratches, etc. If you try and talk to customer service- be prepared for a unhelpful experience. Most of the folks that answer the phone don't or can't do anything for you. You will get a different answer every time you talk to someone there. If you want to speak to a supervisor, good luck with that.. not even an act of congress would get a supervisor or manager on the same call. The agent will say a supervisor will call back in 24 hours.... that will never come. After weeks of talking with customer service they said a new side board was going to be sent and should arrive in 7-10 days. On the 15th day, I called to check on what was going on and I was informed on that call that the new sideboard was going to arrive around November 27th because it was coming from "Over Seas". 7 to 10 days turned into 45 days. The bed was delivered September 12th and we opened a service call on September 20. It is October 27th and the bed STILL isn't fixed and based on what their "customer service" says that part won't even arrive until 11/27. Stay away from Ashley... please learn from MY mistakes!

I wish there is a lower point than one star. I had the worest experience with Ashely furniture. Especially the delivery service was terrible. They were not cooperative. They said the elevator didn't fit but they didn't use any other technique to make it work they didn't want to try anything they were just rushing to take the sofa away. They didn't even give me a second to think and figure things out. And the store manager in this store was not even willing to listen to what happened and came up with a solution. He was so disrespectful and even hang up the phone on me. Once they take the money from your account they don't give a dammn about anything. I always regret that I go to this place .

Maria, the sales rep, was phenomenal; however, I eventually cancelled my order after 10 weeks of no progress on getting most of my furniture. When I cancelled what hadn’t been delivered after 10 weeks (contract said 2-6 weeks for delivery), I paid cash and cancelled my financing with them. The customer service rep applied the delivery fee of $69.99 to my order without telling me and after I’d signed the original contract for free delivery. I’ve shopped Ashley for almost 20 years, but I will never buy from them again regardless of their selection and/or prices. The manager was rude, inpatient and could never tell me the estimated delivery date once the 6 weeks surpassed. I had to call almost weekly to ask for a status and visited the store 4 times. At one point, the customer service rep said the manager would call me back in 10 minutes (on a Saturday) and by Monday when I called back, the manager had yet to return my call and wasn’t available until Wednesday. They’re good at giving customers the run around, and I witnessed a manager while there tell a customer to call corporate being loud and rude. Very unfortunate and very disappointing.
Kanan gave excellent customer service! I'm relocating to the area from NYC next week and was window shopping. He greeted us with a smile underneath his mask 😷. I really appreciated him being so informative and listening to my needs and wants. I will be buying my furniture from him once I'm settled in.

We were supposed to have our chaise delivered in July. We received it in September. We were barely given any updates or information on our missing furniture pieces. The customer service reps were shady and unfriendly, and refused to give us honest or direct answers on the whereabouts of our furniture. Shoutout to the delivery guys though, they were the only good part of this entire frustrating process.
Went in today to buy a loveseat leather recliner. The manager told me delivery fee was $100, but when I went to pay, he denied ever saying that it was $100 for delivery. At that point, the ticket had been written for $129, so he refused and denied honoring his word. For that reason, I’m out! Not a wise move to lose a sale over $29. His loss!
I had placed an online order that was placed on backorder. I had been directed to try and find the items in a store and get them to fill that order. When I called this store I was informed that they were a franchise and had nothing to do with the online store. Before I could even ask of they could check of they had the items that I could just buy and cancel my online order she hung up on me. If they're that rude in the phone I have no interest in going into the store so they can be dismissive in person.

I told the driver that the drawer was damaged. He said that he would make a note of it and the drawer would either be fixed or replaced. I have not heard anything from Ashley furniture for several months. I thought that this was due to the covid crisis. When I followed up later, I was told that the drawer would not be fixed. Beware: they may damage your things when THEIR movers deliver them and will not replace any of the damaged furniture
Delivery of the furniture was the only positive experience to write about. First negative is the lie of their sales in store, they marked up the prices in store 30-60% and then made a "sale" price that matched the price of the furniture online. We also tried to get a replacement piece for a bed we bought and spoke with Wasim at this location. After getting the part number we were told by Wasim that he could not order the part as Ashley only sends replacement pieces to the store we bought that furniture from. This was another lie from a lazy employee who didn't want to do the paperwork. Ended up at a Direct Furniture in the Springfield mall and within 30 minutes we had the part we needed and the knowledge that Ashley will replace pieces regardless of where you purchased the furniture from.
I had the best shopping experience at this location! Kanan and Ray provided impeccable service from the moment we walked in. They gave us amazing deals and we left the store with everything we needed and more. Kanan has an amazing personality and you will enjoy his presence the entire time. The staff there were super friendly overall! Very happy customer :)
Do not purchase furniture from here. Take your business to a store that cares about their customers. I called the day before my delivery to update the phone number on the ticket and they never changed it but had record that I called. The manager had the audacity to call me a liar and tell me the “assistant manager” would never lie. Needless to say, I still don’t have my furniture unless I pay an additional delivery fee for THEIR mistake. Horrible customer service!
I’m warning you don’t order from this store. Where do I start. There promise to deliver on the date you requested wasn’t completed. They didn’t even call or email. Then you call the store about where is the furniture I ordered and they well you have to pay an additional fee. An additional fee because you didn’t deliver on your promise. Then they redirect you to their corporate office. Where’s the customer service? There is none. Please don’t order from them.
My experience from shopping in the actual store to the delivery of final product was EXCELLENT! Customer service was great in the store, and the delivery ( set up) team were great. They took extra care setting the items up, and they cleared out any debris. Polite, and professional! I will definitely shop here again!

My wife bought a couch and she has been trying to fix the damaged product since Aug 2019 and today is May16, 2020. They took the piece to fix it but delivered without fixing the issue and we returned. we explained everything very clear and still not fixing. Since Feb 2020, we haven’t heard from them and tried to contact to fix the issue but no luck. I wish we can give minus stars to Ashley. Until delivery you will be satisfied and problems come after the sales. They will ignore if there is a damage and they will be very difficult to work with. Their only goal is to get your money and not providing the services. YOU WILL BE OUT OF PATIENCE AFTER ALL AND THEN THE 1 year warranty expires. Really bad customer services and the worst store ever!
Ashley has some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I needed to exchange an item and Ashley had no way for me to do it online. So, I called the customer support line and was on hold for 1hr 15mins. I finally got an agent who said to email to process the exchange. I emailed and over a week later an automatic message replied and told me to use the online messenger tool. I had to figure out on my own that the messenger tool doesn't work in Chrome. I then proceeded to try four times to connect to an agent with the messenger tool, the last time waiting 5 hours before giving up. It's been over two weeks since I started trying and many hours of trying to connect via phone, email and messenger and I'm left with no way to get an exchange. It's absolutely ridiculous. Some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I will think again before buying from Ashley.
If I could give Ashley Furniture 0 stars I would. We found a couch we liked and had to re-order the chaise on the other side to fit our apartment. It came in and supposedly the chaise part was damaged so then they put another order in and then the front desk lady told me that the sofa section was damaged. So we wait another few weeks to get both sections in to the warehouse (want it delivered at the same time) and the delivery guys come with only the chaise. We found out that the sofa section was damaged AGAIN, for the second time. We still don’t even know the original damages to the first couch. Really poor service and poor communication from Ashley furniture. It’s taking weeks and multiple orders to try to get our couch.
I really like going to this store. I’ve always been able to find the right style of furniture. More importantly the staff is always great to work with. Blu did an awesome job helping me out today with furniture selection. Thankful to the management for always helping me find unbeatable deals. Last but not the least, Yousra’s friendly smile leaves a lasting impression. Thanks Ashley Team.
This furniture store is by far one of the best in the area! Kanan, my sales person, was super helpful and gave us an unbeatable discount on a beautiful dining set. The store is well stocked, and has many different styles to choose from! Huge shout out to Yousra for making the checkout process super easy! I am honestly blown away at the customer service here.

I bought a couch from here in October and ever since it was delivered it has been falling apart. The whole couch is basically made of osb & 2×2s and held together with staples. Its very low quality and im frustrated i spent over $1500 on this couch.
Kanan was very helpful and receptive to what my girlfriend and I were looking for. The process was easy in terms of applying for financing and Nura was able to assist in a smooth application completion. Thanks Kanan and Nura!!
I came during a warehouse sale so everything was half off. I was greeted by Canan who was helpful but not intrusive. I took a bunch of pictures and left without buying anything. I came back the next day and was helped by Pete and Nura. They were both nice and answered my questions. Pete didn’t try to upscale me but mentioned useful deals so that was appreciated. I bought my furniture outright so I can’t comment on the financing but I was in and out in about 20 minutes.

Great Experience with Basil and the officer Manager Yucy! I picked out a couch I liked online and they were able to find it in the store right away after I mentioned the name. They also helped me with my color issue by showing my examples next to my table color as well. Once more they had everything sanitized and are on top of everything making shopping easy with my virus worries! I will come back for sure when I need more furniture!

We had a GREAT EXPERIENCE shopping for our new furniture. Basil was very professional, helpful and patient he spend almost 3h with us at the end we end up buying everything we need for our house he was incredibly helpful and not pushy at all . At the end we went to pay the manager Ray was very professional and helped us to get our furniture on time in short time , Moe was very patient explaining our bills . This place is straight robbing people..! Went there today and the entire store was upto 65% off. But when I compared the prices with ashley furnitures website, it was straight more than double price in the store..!! And we saw a sofa and which was still expensive after the 50% off..!! And when i asked them they had no answer..! I told them, as you can see the original prices online lets give me 50% off on that price. they said said they cant but they will just match the price.. i said well your store says upto 65% off entire store for 75 years special..??!! Where is my discount..? They had nothing to say..! And i walked out of that store..! They are horrible..!!

I came in a few weeks ago with my mom. Feyeq was our sales rep and greeted us as soon as we entered the store. Though we first thought we didn’t need any assistance, we soon realized we would purchase a couch and bed. Feyeq was patient and gave us great advice every step of the way. We asked for deals and he worked with us to honor them. The customer service rep Yowsra was just as helpful in helping us with shipping/delivery and checkout. Overall a great experience!
Had a very pleasant time at Ashley. We were well taken care of by Kanan who was patient, witty, and kind. He was not a pushy salesman which was appreciated. He also allowed us the time to really get a feel for what we were looking for. The CSR that assisted us, Nura, was also a delightful and pleasant young lady. She had a nice way about her and I like the fact that she took the time to chat to us as well. Ashley in general has some lovely items that suit different styles of homes.

I went to this store to purchase a sectional couch that I had found on the Ashley site. Sarah greeted me within seconds of entering the store and helped me pinpoint all of the pieces of the couch I wanted, patiently answering all of my questions and making sure I understood what I was getting myself into. Once the sale was established, Moe, the cashier, promptly took my order and set up a delivery date with clarity and promptness. Both were exceptionally kind and pleasant to work with. Overall, an efficient experience.

We had a very pleasant experience shopping for furniture. This Ashley Furniture was well stocked, especially during a major sale period. Mark was our sales associate as we were looking for new bedroom furniture. We've often found that some sales people can be overaggressive and stifling. However, Mark was there to answer any of our questions while letting us shop. He walked with us to each piece that we wanted to purchase and accurately reflected sales price. UPDATE: After reaching out to cooperate they were able offer actual customer service after hearing the issue at hand. I appreciate their help. I would consider making future purchases with Ashley's furnature after this resolution. However, I would not consider returning to this specific location to do so. TRUST THESE REVIEWS. I went and purchased a couch. The sales workers were wonderful and accommodating. I feel bad that they have to work here. Upon delivery, the delivery men claimed the couch could not fit due to a wall. My previous couch was of similar size and I did not have issues. They tried for 10 minutes, broke a ceiling light and said it wasn't possible. Whatever, I moved on and went to the store to select a couch that came into two pieces. The store did not have any options to provide me that fit what I need and that were within my budget. I called to work with them such as selecting another item and getting a refund for the remaining balance but they said this was not allowed (why?). I could select other items but they HAD to equal the original couch. My only option is a 60% refund, due to their contract. The manager was rude and unwilling to work with me even though this whole situation is beyond anyone's control. The after the fact customer service is absolutely abysmal. It's actually embarrassing. They can't offer what I need so they've going to charge me a 30% fee simply because they can. I will never set foot in another Ashley's furniture and I HIGHLY suggest others to avoid it as well. They will steal your money happily while giving poor customer service. These reviews speak volumes. I wish I had checked prior to my purchase. I thought Ashley's was an honorable and trustworthy company but that is clearly not the case. Run.
I recently moved from the Reston to Arlington area hoping to have furniture for a new house, had purchased furniture from the Sterling Ashley furniture location and was incredibly disappointed and inconvenienced by their service and mistakes. I went to the Falls Church Ashley furniture and had an amazing experience. The customer service was outstanding and everyone was willing to help me find what I needed. My sales representative Wassim was a huge help, he spent time helping me measure the pieces, discuss the best quality options, and look into matching my selections with specific colors/visions. He was very attentive and willing to help me find exactly what I wanted while staying within my budget. Overall I had a phenomenal experience at this store, they are not only professional but honest and reliable.
Customer service was good but the sales man was rushing me to place an order. Delivery can take up to 2 months! I ordered items from Regency Furniture and Ashley’s for much more than $3,000 and they wanted to charge a delivery fee if I cancelled one item that was less than $200. I have to wait an extra 2 weeks for my entire order just because one item is not available. This is terrible customer service. If you need to cancel anything, it must be done in person which is inconvenient. The furniture looks awesome but this is a pain to work with.

Great place to check out the furniture! Even better if you want to spend 3X the advertised online price. Walked in, found a couple of items that were "on sale at 50% off". Funny thing, even the "sale price" was still 20% higher than the online price, even after shipping! This store will also not price match or honor advertised prices. Do yourself a favor and buy higher quality somewhere else without the gimmicks.
Super slow. 7 people around and I was forced to work with the only one that didn’t know how to do anything. Continued to repeat the wrong information back to even when corrected multiple times. I literally had to ask some one if she was being purposefully difficult. I couldn’t believe how slow and frustrating this was. 17 minutes from door to credit card swipe to order a cushion replacement for a couch when I talked to a service representative twice on the phone the day before who said they made a note on my account and I’d just need to come and pay for it. 17 minutes
The furniture here is overpriced for the quality. We bought a 1,500 couch and the cushions were flat after 1 year. We also purchased the warranty and were told that it covered the cushions. Come to find out, after two weeks of trying to get a response from customer service, that it doesn’t. So they lied. Customer service was unwilling to do anything about the situation. Don’t shop here. I also want to point out that this company only responds to good reviews(see all reviews) and doesn’t respond to pot reviews. I’ll be interested to see if they respond to mine, considering I’m alleging their sales person lied to us about their warranty.
My visit to the store with my family was well received and found excellent customer handling. The sales person engaged with us was energetic and hard working leading us to all varieties displayed, provided detail information which enabled us to decide buying. Recommend others to visit the shop and get quality furniture with professional customer handling.
I was at this store Saturday December 7. I walked in the door and no one greeted me. I walked through the entire store looking at various furniture passing clerks and not any employee acknowledged me.I did notice others being acknowledged and helped. As an African American woman I felt that I was not valued at all in this store. So I left and went to do business with the furniture store across the street.
My husband and I recently walked into Ashley HomeStore looking for a sofa. We were greated by Basil, who without stalking us was available to answer our questions then slipped away so we could discuss in private. Our sofa was delivered in a timely manner and we loved it so much we wanted to add to it. We went back to the store and this time spoke to the manager at the counter,who ordered our addition and handled a small issue promptly and far exceed our expectations! We will return to Ashley for all our furniture needs and deal with either of those gentlemen. Highly Recommend!!

We spent over $3500 when we first bought it I explain the lady who helped us Sarah that I'm pregnant and I we just moved to new place so we needed the bed ASAP she assure us that it wouldn't take 6 weeks, when I called today since it's three weeks to ask the status the person who answered was very rude and said that they are still waiting for three pieces so it would take 2 more weeks for them to have it and not sure when it will be delivered. I ask if they could deliver what they have since what I need the most is the mattress she said I have to pay extra! Their promotion was if you buy over $1300 it was free deliver and we spent almost $4000 and she is saying I have to pay extra! I wouldn't buy anything from them their customer service is the worst! They are other stores with better prices and better customer service! I regret buying from them!!
The furniture selection was decent. Several of the pieces were definitely overpriced. For example, a leather couch that was only leather in the seating area was 3500.00 dollars. It was very overpriced. But there were some good buys like the smaller sofas. Also avoid the motorized recliners. They aren’t terribly reliable.

We were trying to see furniture that we could order from another, out of state, Ashley. Found out they are all individually owned and operated. Salespeople all disappeared when they saw no commission.
Wow, after reading all the negative reviews, I will not be going here. Wondering where else folks are shopping?
The salespeople at the store told us we could "schedule a 4-hour window" for the delivery and setup of our bed that we ordered - we found out once the bed was ready for delivery that we could not schedule a delivery window, we just had to pick a day to be available all day (and pay extra if we want a weekend, which nobody told us about at the store when we were making our purchase). It was upsetting to learn after making the purchase that I now also have to take a day of leave from work to have the bed delivered, or else pay extra and have to wait an extra two weeks to get a weekend delivery day. It definitely feels like the salespeople hid some important details about delivery from us.
Please do not trust those people. The quality of the furniture they show me in the showroom was completely different than what they deliver to my house. Two weeks after I bought the sofa and gave my salesperson a good survey , they deliver a damage sofa in my house. I called and went to the store multiple times for an exchange. Nobody wants to help me. They were running away from me. Finally they filled a claim to their headquarters in Baltimore. After a month and 21 days, They sent a technician to repair the brand new sofas I bought. He cut the fake leather and change the cushions and leather of the new sofas. The problem gets worse. The whole sites were sinking. I asked the technician to videotape the whole on the cushions. When they are leaving my house the guys asked me to wait for the headquarters decision. After a month no one followed up with me. I called the store many times they always put me on hold and finally a lady told me that they cannot help me. The headquarter has denied my request. Please DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY Falls church. They are not honest.
Horrible customer service, delivery time FOREVER!!!! If you think shopping there, my best advice - DON'T. We bought furniture 8 weeks ago and when we bought it they said it will be delivered in 2 to 6 weeks. We waited diligently for 6 weeks and then started calling them. After tons of excuses how some piece of furniture is still missing, we finally got delivery date scheduled, and delivery guys just skipped me. They claim they called even though I have no missed calls and my phone did not ring, so they decided to move on. By company policy we now need to wait another week for the next delivery, and oh let's just hope next time "the phone will ring". No sense of customer satisfaction, they don't care at all because you pay everything in advance and there is no way to get any kind of compensation for their unprofessionalism.

I just relocated from Iowa to Virginia to start a job in Washington DC. Needless to say, I was not finding any furniture stores like we had back in Iowa. I came across Ashley HomeStore and found Sarah I believe was her name. Let me tell you she and I have the same taste in furnishings. She was able to help me pick out bedroom, dining, living room to complete my new apartment. When it come to paying, the manager and Sarah both went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out! They quoted me 3 - 6 weeks for delivery, however, I went in after one week to follow-up and they had most everything in stock and will be delivered very soon. They worked around my schedule which was very nice. I would highly recommend checking this place out! Very friendly.
The story had a huge posting. UPTO 75% off. Right of the bat this was inaccurate. Salesman said, UPTO 75% off means there is free delivery, assembly and no tax. Every item had 2 prices, the actual price and the 50% off price. On the surface this seemed very good and I racked up a bill of 6300. Guess what, when I got home and luckily checked the prices of the same exact merchandise on Ashley's own website, the total came out to be about 2500 less including tax, shipping and assembly. This meant, the prices shown on products in store were hyped up to give a 50% off and even that 50% off price was about 3800 more than the full price on their website. Try getting your head around that now. As anyone would do too, I called to cancel my entire order the same evening, Of course they want you to come to store to do that because they will warn the salesman of your arrival and have him stop you from doing that. They tried to be slick by asking me my name so they can have everything ready for my arrival to which I replied, if you want me to come in person anyhow, why should I tell you who I am ahead of time? To make matters worse, on my first visit in the morning, Sales people started fighting among themselves on who saw us first. Out loud and in-front of me asking me who saw me first in a foreign language. You can see how awkward it will be for anyone. One of them backed down and in 1 hour told us 3 times to go for a lunch break and come back because we will be new customers walking in and then she can work with us. To sum up, I still bought everything, same exact brands and products. But this time, very little from Ashley. My total dropped from 6300 to 3100. I have the receipts to prove that. Your decision to purchase anything from here lies with you. I have made mine, which is, neither trust the price you see displayed in store nor believe the up-to 50 or 75% off gimmick. This company is SUCH a fraud. We bought a sofa from Ashley Furniture in Falls Church. We were sold on buying an extended warranty and told by the salesperson that between the manufacturer's warranty and the extended warranty we would be covered for all instances for a year. My husband sat on the couch and the frame broke. IT BROKE. We called BOTH warranty companies and are being told that it is not covered because it is (1) not a manufacturer's defect and (2) because the extended warranty only covers fabric. SO a NEW sofa that breaks when a person sits on it evidently is not a prima facie case of a manufacturer misuse but rather USER ERROR! AND the sales person LIED to us to get us to buy the extended warranty. I have a call into the store manager as the fabric warranty folks told me that it should be covered. Someone needs to make this right. You cannot be asked to invest in a piece of furniture that lasts 4 months.

Furniture is overpriced so they can give you 50% off with an additional 20% off. Free delivery, but only when you purchase the protection plan. You also don’t find that out until the end.
Lots of good choice and the staff were nice. That being said Check the prices online while you are at the store. The stores prices are BLOWN up. The reps will tell you you can get a discount of X% which is the “normal” price online.
I called in and spoke with Kanan who was very personable and gave me great information about the product I eventually purchased. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and gave me a great tip for measuring and marking my floor to check the size. A great experience!
Some of the staff at this location are very unprofessional. The owner or his wife accused me of creating an account under someone elses name and demanded identification. Turns out her employee put my name in the system backwards. I told her dont assume because I'm black that I create accounts under other ppls names. She said if you can't tell I'm a foreigner so it's the same thing.

All items in the store severely marked up - make sure you look online before going to the store because they mark them up to look like you’re getting a good deal when they say “50% off”. We were bombarded by sales people and when we decided not to buy something because it was much cheaper on their website they were TOTALLY rude.
Went for a mattress and sleeper sofa. After the store closed, the staff stayed to make sure we were taken care of. Basil, the salesman, provided great service and was very honest and helpful. Shawnta went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of in the system. The manager Ray and his staff at Ashley Furniture were awesome!!
I took my mother to Ashley Furniture in Falls Chuch VA to purchase a new mattress. Our saleman was Kanan, he was knowledgeable, patient, and had a great sense of humor which was a plus. He showed us exactly what we were looking for and once we found the perfect mattress he informed us how to maintain the warranty on the mattress by getting a mattress cover, because once a mattress has a stain the warranty is VOID (I never knew this) Great service and beautiful store!

There was quite a good selection at Ashley’s and our representative was kind during our selection process; however, became agitated at the end of our purchase when we asked to talk privately. This was a large financial purchase for us and she definitely seemed taken back that we had anything to discuss. Furthermore, after we were all paid, they told us our furniture would not come for 2-6 weeks. We just moved to the area and have no furniture so this seemed very long to us. Our new jobs have not started and will not for a few weeks but we will probably have to take off of work another day in order to accept the furniture. I understand a lot of these things are sales tactics; however, it did not sit well with me. I appreciate honestly and someone being straight forward with me. I am not sure we will purchase furniture there again.

Worst customers service, I wasn’t aware that in order to use they’re credit card I had to spend I maximum of $700.00. First item I bought legs started to brake and it’s been 2 months and I’m still waiting to find out what’s going to happen because they pick up the chair for service and have yet to get a call back. My daughter in law warned me about the service and quality of this place but I didn’t listened. Here I’m waiting for a call back after weeks of weeks. The people in the store they’re there just to make the sell and not a bit of customer service or satisfaction. Please do not shop at any Ashley stores. Even the service technician that came to pick up the chair said to me shop at Bob’s furniture.

Seemed like a lot of workers sitting around chatting and flirting, ignoring the customers. Music was blaring and somewhat disorienting. The prices don't match what is online (you can get stuff cheaper online). Also, know there is a Bob's Furniture across the street that you can get the same stuff for cheaper. Will not go back to Ashley!

I recently purchased a sectional and coffee table from Ashley HomeStore. I would gladly go back there to purchase more furniture. The staff was helpful and friendly but put us under no pressure to buy. The sectional we choose had to be ordered from the factory, but arrived in two weeks, ahead of the initial estimate. The delivery process was extremely easy. They called and I picked my delivery date and then the called the day before with a time frame. Overall, everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with my new living room.
The salesman named Alexis at Fall church is very and his manager is nice as well. However once you bought their products cost me $3,000 or more the service is not that good. Some women( African Americans woman ) who always picked up the phone is not really helpful and rude. I called one day before to my delivery to ask for the delivery time window. She said she would not know yet when she know she would call me back but no she didn’t call me. Once I called on the next day and I asked” do you know the time frame when they are coming to delivery the furniture to my home? “ She tried to collect my English said you need to ask when they will delivery not asking when they are coming ... OMG, how rude of this person, whose English that is not good here. I have my Master degree I passed my ENGLISH high standard class. She didn’t understand the word “is coming ... “. Then I requested her to please let the delivery guys know they need to call me when they arrive so they can get into the building. Again, she was not helpful and said you need to let us know the date you bought your products, too late to tell us now. I told her someone there told me the delivery guy will call me in advance. So I had to tell her if the delivery is not successful because she is not being helpful I will need to get the refund. Now she was threatening that there was a fee for that. I will fight to get all my money back if that happened because of their bad service. Next time I will think again before I will walk into this store at Fall church , VA

My wife and I have bee into this store twice now and each time the experience was similar (although last night's was worse). You walk in through the front door and are immediately "greeted" by a salesperson who's been standing there just waiting for someone to come in. They tell you about the sales which is fine and ask if you're looking for anything in particular. Each time my wife and I were just trying to get a sense of furniture options and not looking to buy something then and there so we politely stated that we're just browsing around at which point you'd think they'd back off and tell us to let them know if we have questions. The first time in the store that sort of happened for about two minutes before we were again approached by the same person who saw us looking at the first thing that caught our attention. Last night, however, the guy (Blue or Big Blue I think was his name) hovered over us very awkwardly to the point where we both go so uncomfortable that we moved on to something else until he moved away from the piece we wanted to see. He then saw us looking at it again and started walking over at which point we quickly moved on again. This is when a scene from The Walking Dead began as he LITERALLY chased us around the store!!!! We'd stop to look at something and we'd see him walking over. We'd move on and suddenly he'd appear from behind a wall! It was THE WORST!!! We finally lost him for a couple minutes when we went upstairs, but as soon as we came back down, there he was again. Finally I think he got tired of following us because we were walking so fast around the store so he sat down in the front of the store where he stared at us awkwardly when we finally left. And that's just the sales staff. Now as for prices... Order off of their website! It's worth seeing things in person first, but the prices in the store are way more expensive than the same exact things online. And sure things were on sale in the store, but that still doesn't account for the price differences. We looked at a head board that was about $1000 cheaper on their website than what we saw in store! Not sure what kind of game they're running there but it's a serious rip off. We WON'T be going back to that store ever again. If you want a much better experience then take some extra time to drive out to Leesburg or Frederick, MD even to go to Gardiner Wolf Furniture. You still have to deal with salespeople, but they're much easier and nicer to work with and the prices actually make sense.
The staff was friendly and not as aggressive as the other stores nearby. I did find a couch I liked but I wasn’t 100% in love with it. I wish the lighting was better so I could really see the color. That would have made a huge difference. Definitely worth checking out if you’re furniture shopping. Update. We went back while looking for a new couch and Ashley won us over this time. I almost went with the one in the new picture, the features were awesome, but I opted for comfort and went with the one behind it instead.
I thought I was better off going to this location, after the horrible ordeal I went through (still trying to fix) from the Woodbridge location...WRONG!!! So after all the mess I went through with the Woodbridge Ashley Store, I came to this store in order to use up the rest of my credit line. I spent 2 hours there picking out stuff (4K worth) to get to the end where I sign, just to find out they lost the paper that they told me to write my name, address, account #, and ssn on. The sales Rep and the customer service went back and forth with who had it last....I just grabbed my belongings and walked out. Love the furniture but hard to buy when the employees and their inadequate procedures are in between.
My fiancé and I had an outstanding experience with the customer service! Each associate that helped us was very professional, and we did not feel any kind of obligation to purchase anything. They wanted us to be completely happy with what we were buying. However, there is one downside: we over paid. I was going to leave a 5 star rating; however, we spent and additional $136 on buying a couch from them. I check their own website, and it was less than what we paid for in store! Greatly disapointed.
Went in to shop for a Sofa last week. I was shopping online the week before so I knew they had some styles I liked. As soon as I went in I noticed that the prices were much higher than what was being advertised online. The salesman was quick to note that everything was 50% off. I found a sofa that liked and asked him for the final price and he quoted me $1350.00 (sticker was $2700.00) I looked up the model online and found it for sale by a competitor for $865.00 and free delivery. I showed the salesman this, he was annoyed, I don't hold it against him, he doesn't set the price and knew he couldn't compete. I checked the Ashley website later on and it was $1099.99. This location is marking items up even more than advertised on their own website. I'll never buy anything from this store.
Do not shop here or any Ashley furniture location for that matter. I am not one who normally writes Google reviews that are bad but the way things have played out for me with the customer service and end product from this particular location is awful. I received an entire bedroom set including a new mattress and a team of guys came to deliver this to my home. They were quick to finish the white glove set up but did not fix the wobbly dresser or night stands. I attempted doing this and mostly got one of the night stands fixed on my own but could not get the other two easily so I called and asked if they could send someone out to take a look at it for me. They first suggested it was due to my wood floors but I said the techs you hired should have at least attempted to adjust them according to what type of floors I had and notify me of them being wobbly rather than running out of the house as quickly as possible. Customer care issue number 1. I also want to point out that I had 2 dressers and two night stands ordered and 2 out of the 4 pieces were not wobbly at all on my wood floors. So there is no way that this can only be the fault of my wood floors. There is an underlying issue. Next issue: Trying to get a hold of customer service and to actually get them to send someone out is damn near impossible. It took me two weeks because they would send me multiple emails or phone numbers of people to call and email with no reply or those people would send me somewhere else. Disorganization is their middle name. After 2 weeks of circling around who I need to reach out to and successfully emailing them a picture of my wobbly products (dresser and night stand), which can't be shown in a picture yet they still wanted them, they sent a new tech out. This tech arrived fixed my night stand perfectly. I was pleased. He also got my dresser more stable than it was but it was still noticeably unstable. He suggested either asking for a replacement or he would get them to order new legs. I asked him to order the legs because I did not want to wait another potentially two months for a new dresser. He left and I thought everything was fine and dandy. They call me back today May 6th 2019. I bought this furniture January 5th or 6th of 2019. They suggested I put a cloth or pad underneath my legs in order to fix the problem. I said, "no, the tech said he was ordering new legs." Ashley furniture is claiming he said everything is fine. If that were the case, why would you call me suggesting to fix a problem? Wouldn't you simply want to call and ask, as a quality assurance rep, how I like the new furniture? Did we fix it to your satisfaction? Not, here is a fix for your problem you still have. That clearly means that they do not want to pay to ship me new legs and send out a tech to fix the problem. They know it is still a problem. These people are crooks sending customers defective products and then fighting with them over fixing it once it arrives at their home. This company is a joke. I will never purchase anything from them in the future. Again, I am not one to normally write a review unless it is extremely noteworthy and to let others know that some shady business is going on with a business. It just goes to show that some companies only see us consumers as dollar signs and don't care about the end product they provide. I am surprised they have stayed in business this long because i figure if they keep sending people defective furniture they would be out of customers to provide to by now.

They never keep their words, lies after lies. I order some furniture and promised to deliver with in six weeks, but i wait more than two months but it didn't come I ask them still they say wait, finally I cancelled all the orders.

Very poor customer service and bad experience. Bought almost $8000 dollars worth of furniture almost 10 months ago. Had a horrible experience. Stuffs were not delivered on time and even parts were missing. When inquired about on when those can be delivered, was bounced from call rep to other. It took another 3 months to get glass panels missing from the China Buffet. Donot recommend this place for your furniture needs.

Places with better customer service: 1. DMV 2. Comcast 3. Airline Lost baggage desk Like other had said, If I could give zero stars I would. Lets start with the delivery. See pictures for quality. Delivery: We were given an 11:00 am-3 pm delivery window so we took the day off. The couch was delivered at 5:45 pm, after our freight elevator at our condo reservation was passed. It was clearly the last delivery of the day so the delivery guys were rushed and dumped it off the back of the truck. It was so late, we made sure there was no structural damage, and said it was good as we had somewhere to be. The next day: In the day light we started to realize that the craftsmanship was pretty shotty. Not only does it look bad, but there are small rips and folds in places there shouldn't (Pictures attached). We went to the store to speak with the manager. The floor model of the couch we bought was right in front of the managers desk so it was easy to compare our pictures with what we thought we were buying. Best they could do is send a technician out to inspect it before anything else. Since we already took a day off and it was a terrible experience, we said it had to be on a weekend. the earliest appointment was a month away. Technician Visit: One month later, we get a call the night before saying our window is 9 am-12 pm and that we would get a call 30 minutes before arrival. We got a call from a mystery number with no automated recording or a person at 9:30 am. Assuming it was Ashley's technician, we got another call at 9:48 am (not 30 minutes later) which we admittedly didn't answer. Saw the voicemail that he was outside and would wait 10 minutes. Our apartment overlooks the front entrance (didn't see him) but went down within the 10 minutes and he wasn't there. Called him, no answer. Called customer support who called him and there was no answer. Called back to make sure they had the right address and they did, and were now able to get a hold of him, but said he had to continue his route and lied about how long he waited. Next Steps: we are now having another technician come in another 3 weeks to hopefully try again. I know the sales and deals are enticing, but I would recommend from the bottom of my heart that you don't put yourself through this experience. It has been so frustrating that I am tempted to dedicate a weekend to standing in the parting lot to discourage other consumers.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The customer representatives in the store are somewhat nice, but they hound you and follow you around the store trying to force you to buy stuff. We picked out a couch we liked and bought it. The people came to deliver it and ripped the fabric because they took off the plastic covering too soon. It took about 3 weeks and 10 phone calls to get someone who could finally help order a replacement fabric. The fabric was delivered to my home and I was instructed to call and schedule a time for someone to install it. I have called multiple times and no one can help. They say that someone will call me back and days pass without any communication. If you are just picking out a piece of furniture and expect to have no problems - then I bet this is a decent bet. But if you ever anticipate you'll have a slight issue, go somewhere else.
The initial experience after two visits to the store was average. A long day spent finally ordering furniture. I would have given them 4 stars at that point only due to the salesperson that day and their willingness to look up items. Basically to do their job. Three weeks later after consistently calling customer service for an update for delivery and realizing they had written down our mattress order incorrectly I can barely give them one star! They do not operate as a team. No one can rectify the situation after 3 calls!! I now have to call tomorrow to talk to the GM?? What is the point of having store hours from 10am to 9pm if you have to wait consistently to talk to the ONE person who wrote your order?? What is the point of even having an Assistant Manager if they are not empowered to make decisions?? Very, very disappointed with their customer service. Purchase from this store at your own risk.
Very bad service
Had a great experience shopping at Ashley HomeStore. We were greeted by Basil who was very helpful. He asked us if we needed anything, and was right around the corner when we were ready to make a purchase. They were currently have a President's Day sale, and were able to accommodate another slight discount that was offered to as we were new to the neighborhood. Basil talked us through the insurance protection and what the covers. We were very happy with our purchase and would shop at the store again.
Ashley Furniture has a decent selection and I did enjoy walking around and looking at the furniture they had. However, the two major factors in not purchasing any items was the high markup on what we wanted and the pushy car salesman like atmospher. I felt like they treated me like a niave adolescent who didn’t understand how financing worked and it appeared they were trying to force me to make a decision on purchasing something I wasn’t quite sure I wanted yet. I ended up going to Bob’s Discount Furniture and spent my hard earn money there.

I went to pick up something that I saw online that I liked. When I walked into the store, the was a couple that had just walked in right before me and one that was right behind me. Both couples were immediately greeted and attended to. I didn't think anything of it. I walked the floor looking for my item and I met several customer service people none of them acknowledged me; I attempted to get the attention of one; but he made a I turn so fast ignoring me. My advise STAY OUT OF this store if you qualify as "other' A lady wearing a hijab received no service and she and her friend left after a few minutes. Very very disappointed.
We recently purchased some furniture at Ashley"s Homestore in Falls Church, VA. Mr. Basil Shayeb welcomed us at the door and showed us the types of furniture we were interested in buying. He mentioned the President's Sale, where most furnishings were 50% off the marked price. Mr. Shayeb (Basil) was very kind, patient and understanding of our needs while we were looking at various items he showed us. We ultimately bought a sleeper bed and a regular bed that we liked. He then walked us through the entire process before Shannon did the paperwork required for the two purchases. I would like to commend Basil Shayeb and Shannon for their professionalism in selling us the furniture we wanted. They were polite, did not rush us into buying anything, but showed us what they thought we needed. I will highly recommend Basil and Shannon that the management please give them $10.00 each for their outstanding efforts in helping us make our choices. When we visited Ashley Homestore in Falls Church, we were only interested in looking, but with Basil and Shannon help we actually purchased over $1400.00 of furniture. I wish I could give no stars. Do not, i repeat do not order anything from this store 1) sales representative although polite, is clueless about store policy and procedures, hence you will recieve incorrect or no information at all pertaining to sales purchases. For example, furniture wil be delivered 2 months after purchase date. 2) employees have no empathy or customer service skills when they are aware of a customer experiencing difficulty during a transaction involved with them. For example, offering customer to deliver some furniture on one date, and because other pieces have yet to be delivered after 5 weeks, customer can pay additional $150 when remaining furniture is deliveres to warehouse. Like seriously???, 3) Delivery day finally comes, delivery driver decides to leave and not deliver furniture because he drove to a "closed gate"... like seriously, are you stupid. Obviously your at the wrong military gate , clearly humans have to enter and exit, if the gate you pulled up to is closed, at least call the customer so I can direct your stupid brain to the right location. 4) return policy: they charge 30% ok 2k to return furniture, you have yet to recieve. Gladly paid to rid my memory of this horrible experience!!!!
I came to this store to purchase a sofa chaise - I knew exactly which one I wanted. However, the customer sales person, Sarah, who ended up helping me had to explain that a physical store differs from the website, which is a different warehouse. So I looked for other options and found one I liked. It was marked over $1000, but with President's Day, was reduced 50%. I had a good and fast experience at the store...until I got home and saw that online, the couch was $429.99. I called the store and asked for a price match. Sarah called me from her cellphone and texted me numerous times. The manager also reached out. This process was very frustrating because Sarah was telling me to come to the store and the manager told me I can scan and fax. The price match was accepted and I received a quick refund. Overall, it was a fast process and a great deal. The communication with the customer service team was a little confusing, but many folks were there to help me out.
We just moved to the area and a new house...all with a new baby. We needed furniture and didn't want any hassle. The folks at Ashley Furniture (particularly Izzy) gave us the help we needed without the hassle. Izzy was very friendly and helpful, but gave us the space we needed to look around. We couldn't have asked for better.
AWFUL, AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! My husband and i got orders to move to Washington DC so we decided to invest in a new couch and chose to go to Ashleys Furniture. the couch didn't end up fitting up our stairs so it was returned and Ashleys told us we could come by in 24-48hours and select a new couch. we picked our new couch out, which ended up being cheaper and they tried to make us PAY MORE!!!!!!! these crooks came up with every excuse in the book as to why it was going to be "more money" we denied and now they refuse to refund us our $1,600.00 needless to say, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. also, the prices listed on the website are not accurate vs the stores prices.
I did end up purchasing furniture on this visit. The sale staff was very helpful, but also intrusive on the process. Being followed around the store and stared at while trying to make a large financial decision is unhelpful. The knowledgeable and otherwise polite staff I dealt with were great otherwise. After purchasing my furniture I attempted to locate the model online to share images with friends/family, but the receipt has no detailed information of the items purchased. The item # does not match up with any website numbers. I did find what I believe to be the furniture I purchased, except it is listed at almost 1/3rd of the price of what is in the store. Over 200$ less than the 50% off sale price. In the end I paid roughly the same as the online price after additional discounts due to purchasing the warranty, which seems like a solid investment. This is a deceptive business practice and I'm not likely to shop at an Ashley Furniture store again or recommend it to others, unless in the end I am wrong about the model I found online.
I was asked to pay a higher price for a floor model than what I could have gotten in the Ashley's website (new with free shipping) and no deal was made to match or provide a reduced price to accommodate delivery. Sad. No sale.
So far, I'm incredibly disappointed. The recliner I purchase was delivered yesterday. It doesn't feel like the one on the showroom floor at all. The tension for the back of the seat is too loose so it wont hold you up. It slowly slides back until its all the way back. I called the store to ask what my options were and they told me I had to pay $150 to have someone come pick up the chair, then I would get store credit, then I could pick another chair, and pay shipping again. So at that point I would have paid $60 for initial shipping, $150 to return a malfunctioning chair, and I'll have the "opportunity" to pick a new one AND pay for that one to be shipped $60 (~$320 in shipping). For a $500 recliner. "I'm sorry that's the contract you signed" was the response I got. I wish I read the reviews on this store before going in. Buyer Beware. I'll update my review if they address my issue satisfactorily. The manager is supposed to call me. Edit: they never called. They never made it right. I had to use bungie cords to "fix" the tension. I should have gotten a la-z-boy. This store sucks.
My husband and I had bought a sectional with an ottoman back on Dec 8, 2018 and we are still waiting on delivery to the warehouse. Everytime we look at their website and call the dates keep getting pushed back and now looks to be towards the end Jan (7 -8 weeks) just to get to warehouse, not to mention scheduling delivery. Each week as we get closer to the estimate date for delivery to the warehouse it gets pushed back (4 date changes so far). It's just ridiculous because we were told initially the furniture could be delivered early Jan before I would into labor with our first child in Feb.
*updated and improved review Original review - Bait and switch. Do not go here if you want your furniture in the next 2 months, or if you want any information about your orders. I bought a couch 6 weeks ago on Black Friday and was told it would be delivered “between 2-6 weeks but probably sooner.” Ashley has not contacted me once unless I called them first. I have called 8 times and get the same answer: “No idea.” This is because Ashley doesn’t actually have the item you bought. If you push for more information, you’re told they “have an ETA in their system,” but you are cautioned that this changes daily and means nothing — It is also not even Ashley’s ETA: The “delivery company” has your furniture, which is separate from Ashley, and they make all the decisions about when furniture is delivered without telling Ashley. This mythical ETA isn’t even for when it it delivered to YOU - it’s for when it’s delivered to Ashley’s own store. Then you have to arrange delivery as a separate endeavor on another day. Examples: On Dec 26, I was told ETA was “tomorrow”; next day, ETA became Jan 3. Today, Jan 3, I’m told the “new ETA” is Jan 14. Keep in mind I bought this couch Nov 23. The ONLY REASON I am giving this Ashley 2 stars instead of 1 star is because this location’s staff is lovely. Everyone I have spoken to on the phone has been kind, reassuring, patient, and empathetic. I understand it is not the employees’ fault, it is the corporation’s ridiculous bait-and-switch delivery setup. So I guess if you want to be frustrated with a bait and switch scheme and missing furniture, but also be consoled by really nice people, this is your spot. ***updated review: the day after I wrote this review, I got a response on Google from Ashley furniture. I emailed their customer care center as requested. I then got a phone call from a woman who said she had extensively researched my order and the couch itself. She said she called warehouses in multiple nearby states to see if they had my item and could deliver it sooner, personally contacted the delivery company to confirm delivery on Jan 14, filled me in on the status of the item, available couches, and more. I did not get her name but she was lovely, and she clearly spent a great deal of time and effort trying to rectify the mistakes and miscommunications. I greatly appreciated the timeliness of their customer care center response and the effort they went to on my behalf. I hope to see my couch next week :)
Misleading sales people, intentionally will withhold information from you. Aggressive tactics, distinctly worse experience than buying a car. Pro Tip: find what you like in the store, check the Ashley website and find the same item for significantly less. The "sales manager" will then struggle to match that price, despite them arbitrarily (plus the hidden delivery fee). Would not recommend this store and experience to anyone who values getting a fair deal.
I called to cancel an order made an hour earlier at store because the price is a lot cheaper online, and it's not delivered in another 2-6 weeks anyway. However, the manager wanted me to come to the store to cancel it?!? I did say that I lived half an hour away and it was not convenient for me to come back. And then he just became rude, "You lived in Alexandria?". I replied "yes". He said, "it's not half an hour away". It was NOT HIS BUSINESS at all about how far I live from the store, also, try zip code 22308 and see if it's close to 30 mins (28 mins without traffic to be exact). Why would I come back to have them trying to work something out about the order or attempting to sell me something else when their customer service is that bad? Why can't he just cancel my the order like any other stores could do. The manager hanged up on me after I insisted to cancel it through the phone. I am filing charge-backs on both the card I paid for tax and the card opened with Synchrony when I made the order.
