⭐️ 1 Star – Blatant Misrepresentation, Forced Store Credit, and Predatory Policy We purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture HomeStore (Outlet) only after explicitly asking whether it would fit in our home. The sales rep did not say “you should measure.” He did not hedge. He stated verbatim: “Unless it’s one of those funky spiral staircases, these guys can make it fit no problem.” That assurance is the only reason we purchased. On delivery day, the delivery team confirmed the furniture did not fit and took it back. No damage. No refusal. No customer error. Just bad advice. When we contacted the sales manager, we were told Ashley does not do refunds — even when the failure is caused by their own employee’s incorrect guidance. Instead, we are being forced to select different furniture we do not want, or forfeit our money. Let’s call this what it is: • Ashley employees confidently make claims to close the sale • Those claims are not honored when proven wrong • Customers are then trapped by a “no refunds” policy • Responsibility is shifted entirely onto the buyer This is not customer service — it’s a predatory sales practice designed to eliminate accountability. Any reputable company would stand behind its employees’ representations. Ashley chooses not to. Their policy effectively encourages sales reps to say whatever is necessary to make the sale, knowing the customer has no recourse once the transaction is complete. If you are considering shopping here, understand this very clearly: If their staff tells you something will fit and they are wrong, you may still be denied a refund and forced into store credit. That is unacceptable. This issue is now being escalated beyond the store level. Buyers beware.

Came in with my husband knowing exactly what I wanted today as far as a bedroom suite and was greeted by Shavon. She was beyond helpful showing me exactly where the bed was I wanted and even going through testing mattresses with us. This is not our first purchase from Ashley's and definitely not our last. And the best part we are getting our bedroom suite in just 2 days!

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience I am very disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture. We received a brand-new dresser that was damaged, and despite multiple attempts to have the issue resolved, Ashley Furniture refused to cover it, stating it was “not under warranty.” We contacted Ashley numerous times and were repeatedly told the same thing—that the damage was not covered—despite the fact that the furniture was new. As a last resort, we filed a claim with the insurance company, which was also denied simply because the claim was over a month old, not because the damage was invalid. After the insurance denial, we reached out to Ashley Furniture again hoping they would finally help resolve the situation. Unfortunately, they still refused to take responsibility or offer any solution. I spent over $6,000 on two queen bedroom sets, in addition to purchasing the warranty, and received absolutely no support when an issue arose. For a company of this size, the lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Buyer beware—once they have your money, you will be on your own.

I recently purchased furniture for several rooms in my new home through the Ashley Furniture store in Fredericksburg, VA. The in-store experience itself was positive—there were lots of options and reasonable price points, and I initially felt confident in my purchase. Unfortunately, the delivery experience through T&T Distribution was absolutely terrible, and it completely overshadowed the purchase. I had two separate deliveries, and both were horrendous. In both cases: • Items were missing from my orders • Deliveries arrived over three hours past the delivery window • I waited as long as eight hours at home for one delivery When I contacted T&T Distribution’s Customer Care, they were completely unhelpful. There were no apologies, no accountability, and no compensation for my wasted time. Instead, I was told that customers are expected to be home all day because delivery windows are “estimated.” This directly contradicted the voicemail transcripts they left, which never stated that an all-day wait was required. If that’s truly their policy, then giving a 3–4 hour delivery window is misleading. To make matters worse, because of missing items, I had to personally go to the warehouse and/or store to retrieve what should have been delivered correctly the first time. I still needed dining room furniture and initially planned to purchase it from Ashley—but the thought of dealing with T&T Distribution again was incredibly stressful. Instead, I found the exact same Ashley-made dining set on Amazon: • Nearly $1,000 cheaper • No delivery fee • Easy assembly • No waiting around all day Since then, I’ve discovered many Ashley furniture pieces available online at Amazon with free delivery and far less hassle. There are also other local retailers that sell Ashley-made furniture without using T&T Distribution. Final Thoughts: • The furniture itself is fine • The delivery company is not • The overall experience was frustrating and time-consuming I do not recommend purchasing through the Ashley Furniture store in Fredericksburg unless you are prepared to: • Pick up items yourself from the warehouse • Deal with long, unreliable delivery windows • Handle missing items with little to no support My advice: Do your research. If you find a piece you like at Ashley, check Amazon or other local retailers first—you may save money, time, and a lot of frustration.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Ashley Furniture. Sarah (S-A-R-A), my sales rep, was fantastic—she walked the store with me, spent plenty of time understanding exactly what I wanted, and helped me pick out the perfect couches. I never felt rushed or pressured at any point. Everyone was friendly and professional, and checkout was just as smooth. Mikayla (M-I-K-A-L-A) was amazing and made the checkout process easy and pleasant as well. From start to finish, the entire staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this location for great customer service and a stress-free furniture-buying experience!

I purchased a living room set today in the Fredericksburg VA location and was assisted by Elijah. Elijah was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the products. Elijah went above and beyond by moving tables near the living room set so that I could see if it was a good match. I didn’t plan to purchase tables but I did because I was able to see how great they looked with the set. If you visit the Central Park Fredericksburg location be sure to ask for Elijah.

Paid for delivery with setup and the delivery service smashed the couch into every object they could before leaving it on the floor and departing.

Probably one of the best experiences I've had at a furniture store in a long time. Alijah was knowledgeable, friendly, non-pushy, and the process was quick and easy. And I was even more picky than normal.

Had a nearly perfect experience here. Elijah was the worker who helped my husband and I and was wonderful! We bought a handful of pieces: including a mattress, 6 piece couch, lonesome chair, and a coffee table for all a reasonable price. My husband and I,bought several pieces of furniture at this store last week , and we returned this week. We got some amazing deals. From this point forward, Ashley is our “Go To” store . The icing on the cake was our sales rep. Michael Bravado. He is AWESOME! No pushing, no sales pitch. He listened to us,and helped us find just what we wanted. He also came up with some great ideas. We can’t thank him enough.

Still waitin on that delivery that was supposed to happen earlier this week. Still waiting on that call that was supposed to come the day before the delivery. Still waiting on somebody to turn the ringer on the phone in store (is corporate aware that this location has been completely unreachable by telephone this entire week?) Ashley furniture: absolute bottom of the barrel furniture store experience. Lazy, amateur, and scummy sales practices. Just gonna keep stacking 1 star reviews up for your store daily until someone finally reaches out. Don’t come here unless you enjoy being jipped, having your time wasted, and want to have zero customer service whatsoever! They’re the whole crappy enchilada here. Absolutely never again. Ashley has made a lifelong absolute hater of this customer. If this isn’t handled soon, I’ll be taking matters into my own hands. FAFO.

Still waiting on a delivery. Was supposed to get a call a few days ago about our $4.5k purchase. Called the store multiple times but they keep the ringer silent and ignore calls. Quite the Veterans Day treatment. Waited for hours in store the other day just for them to handle their paperwork. Advertised sale prices online weren’t even honored. Pulled the trigger anyways out of good faith and am getting jerked around by this company. Trying hard to not be annoyed but this is the worst furniture store experience we’ve had from start to finish (with no finish in sight). Maybe one day they’ll answer their phones. I can’t relate to having a job/profession where you get to just simply not do your job. These salesmen are biting off more than they can chew or juggle. What kinda major franchise has locations that are just completely unreachable? Corporate? Someone wanna give me a call and sort your crap? Respectfully, a disabled veteran.

I have had the absolute worst experience and it truly saddens me. I have been shopping with Ashley for years, when my husband passed this last month I decided to update our bedroom and dining set. First delivery comes and I get my dressers as we are waiting for the bed rails to come in. In comes my dining set with3 of the 4 chairs no idea where other chair is Heidi in the warehouse says call the store and figure it out. So I go to the store am told my chair went to Woodbridge by mistake and it will be delivered with the bed. OK I'm fine with that. So delivery day for the bed comes and no chair. Heidi again super helpful says she has no idea. I go to the store they are so sorry they have tracked it down it will be delivered tomorrow, guess what doesn't come the chair. I go to the store and Noone can find the chair or knows what happened to it. So they have me pick out 4 other chairs which none in store really match but what can I do. Saturday they are supposed to be delivered, 4 chairs arrive and they are not what was picked out driver says he cant get ahold of warehouse not his problem. I call store and am 20 minutes into holding and waiting for a resolution.

Purchased a couch and loveseat with the warranty for about 3k. Upon delivery the mechanical parts were not aligned correctly. They said new parts were required which took about 4 months to arrive. In that time a control panel broke and a cushion became deformed from just sitting in it. Ashley said that the cushion was normal wear and tear and would not cover the repair. We have only owned the couch for 5 months and they said a cushion being deformed is normal wear and tear. Complete waste of money. Not what I was expecting spending 3k. Avoid Ashley and go somewhere else.

Mikala was very professional and kind we called the store with a few questions regarding a few things we saw online and she was honest with us. She didn’t know the answer, she put us on hold and less than 2 minutes later she had an answer for us. We got to the store and she remembered my name asked how my day was and if I found what we had been looking for. She was so kinda and we will be back to buy from Ashley again because of Mikala.

I purchased a table from Ashley Furniture and discovered concealed damage just hours after pickup. I reported the issue immediately and even provided photos showing the box was intact at the distribution center. Despite this, Ashley denied responsibility and only offered an exchange if I paid an additional delivery fee. Their handling of the situation was unfair and dismissive, leaving me stuck with a defective product. Very disappointed in both the quality and the customer service.

Needed a new king mattress. Had a wonderful experience with Paul and Noor. Easiest furniture shopping we have ever had. Would recommend to anyone.

Purchased our mattress and frame and was told we would be delivered Saturday never called or showed, then was told it wasn't in stock, finally called and told they had it and would be delivered on Saturday again no show no call. Then was told they only deliver in our area the 1st and 3rd Saturday. Supposed to be open at 10am no answer. We will be canceling our order.

Outstanding service from the moment we came in through the sales transaction from Branddie! Very helpful, patient and knowledgable. We are very pleased with Ashley and the entire team. The general manager, Noor was also very professional and helpful.

I moved and needed some new furniture. I started at Ashley in Fredericksburg and had a wonderful experience. The salesperson was prompt and kind. The manager was fantastic. It took a bit of time to process my transaction on the computer, but it got done. I was so happy, I returned the next day to purchase a chair I had seen. Disaster! A completely opposite experience. The salesperson was the same. Good. The manager had changed. Nothing could get handled. There was no service. After an hour and 20 minutes, I left. Voiding my transaction before I left the store! I cannot explain it. One manager wanted my money. One wanted my misery. They both got what they wanted. So, rather than try again, I went to Bob's Discount Furniture in Manassas. That Bob is a smart man with an outstanding computer system and sales staff that knows how to use it. I received my first order from Bob's 2 weeks ago. I received my second order from Bob's yesterday. Same with my first Ashley order. To summarize, I am a Bob's Discount Furniture customer now. But, to be fair, my Ashley chairs look terrific. Thank you, Ashley.

Mr Paul Moore was amazing to work with. He showed me a variety of products to satisfy my needs for a sectional sofa and dining room set. He even measured tables for the space I am shopping for, removing extensions and swapped chairs for visual mix and match. He was patient with both me and my two children. Mr Paul was a pleasure to work with and very friendly.

Placed an order for a couch and was promised a delivery date for 9/9. Was never contacted the day before with a timeframe, but took off from work anyways just in case. Called the store to check the status, no answer. Called the main customer service line and was advised that my order is on hold due to "missing signatures". I was unable to return to the store, so I called the next day (still no answer at store) and proceeded to call the main line again and was advised that it is on hold but she would look into it. After a brief wait, I was advised that they got the signatures they needed, despite not contacting me since I was in the store. Delivery is now scheduled an additional week out where I have to take yet another day off from work. 0 out of 5 stars. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Nobody ever answers the phone, I’m trying to get a part replaced and I live a good ways out of town. I have questions and nobody picks up the phone to answer them

Working with Elijah was great. We were looking for a Dining room table and chairs and he left us on our own without any pressure and we bought a very nice table and wound up also buying a new bed.

Paul greeted us right as we came in and asked us some questions to help understand what we needed and then showed us several couches that fit the bill. Aside from couches we also needed a dining room table, Paul took the time to show us how the butterfly mechanic worked as well as showed us the durability of the chairs. Great service all around and happy to shop here.

We wanted to be able to visually feel and sit on our possibly new purchase before committing. Fre greeted us & made us feel welcome. She showed us the couch plus 2 others just to have options. We bought the couch we wanted. Hassle Free and with great customer service. The price we paid was the price on the website!! TERRIBLE QUALITY AND SCAM ARTISTS!!! Do you wanna spend thousands of dollars on a sectional? Do you want to have the owner of the store Mr. Michael Trivets preach to you and sell you the “warranty” they offer that covers ANYTHING on their furniture when in reality they don’t? Then this is the place for you! I bought a sectional sofa about 2 years ago and almost every seam on the sofa is separating, cushions are ripping apart, and it’s beginning to make a horrible creaking noise when sitting and getting up. I was talked into buying the warranty from the owner of the store, Michael Trivets himself which looking back was absolutely foolish of me. I went through the claim process which was painful in itself, just to find out that “it’s normal wear and tear and not covered.” So here I am with a $2,000+ sectional that belongs in the dump. Honestly don’t waste your time or money on their furniture and absolutely do not under any circumstances buy the bogus “warranty” they offer. It’s all a big scam. I will be taking my money and my business elsewhere.

Have been trying to get a refund for the last four days. Was told item would be in for pickup within a week. After calling to inquire, I was told that it would be another 3 weeks before it was ready. I am currently waiting in the store to be even greeted by the two clerks at the desk and am being completely ignored. Then after asking about getting a refund I was told we have to contact customer care because they have no manager to process refunds at their store. Why didn’t anyone tell us that over the phone days ago? Wild. After calling customer care, I was told that a manager was on site and processing our refund. When I was there less than 15 minutes prior in person at the store I was told this store had no manager therefore this particular store could not process any refunds.

The lack of customer service was astounding. I walked the whole building looking. Passed several associates face to face. Not one time was I greeted or spoken to. My way out the door a lady finally said did you have a question. I said I do, I dont see the pieces I'm looking for in store if I order them on line how would they be shipped. What carrier or use of transportation would deliver the items. She said she did not know and went on to explain that was corporate she couldn't answer that question because the stores and pur having from corporate aren't the same. To indicate they are two different entities. I asked could she find out she said no I would have to call corporate and ask. Well long story short I went home Wednesday night 7/16 and called the 800# and ordered the item I wanted and had them delivered by FedEx on 7/18. Don't waste your time going into the store and save yourself the frustration. Just order what you want on line.

Be sure to check other websites selling the same items i.e. Amazon for lower prices/free delivery. We were sent a mailer for $100 off every $1000 spent and decided to visit this location to make a purchase, after presenting the mailer our salesperson told us he would speak to his manager. The manager, whom we'd already met on a previous visit to this store, told us we couldn't combine this promotion with the store promotion of 10% off, that it was a better promotion anyway. The shipping costs were interestingly also 10% of the purchase price and they told me they would look into matching the online shipping cost. Desperate for the slightest savings I asked the salesman if I could apply the text subscriber $50 off, and was surprisingly told yes. Then at checkout the manager who was manually adding the order into the computer, after the salesperson had hand written everything out on an invoice even though he was carrying around a tablet (talk about redundancy), told us we could not have the shipping matched if we added the $50 coupon (I had to request the larger of the two discounts be applied). Then proceeded to tell us we would need to pay the taxes same day to reserve a delivery date, which I've never heard before. This location is awful, other locations work with you to give you a deal and they clearly nickel and dime you here. Once we went home I saw the same couches were $1100 cheaper on Amazon with free delivery. I texted the manager to get a price adjustment since the store didn't answer the phone during their posted operating hours and even left a message. I received no response from the voicemail or the text messages. We then cancelled our order luckily we didn't get immediate delivery, since they stipulate that if you're less than 48 hours out from delivery cancellation policies apply. Do yourself a favor and check online before making an in-store purchase.

We had a dining set with 6 wood chairs plus 2 cloth chairs delivered yesterday along with a hutch. Out of the 6 wood chairs 5 were either cracked or damaged in some way. The cloth chairs were ripped and so cheaply made we didn’t even keep them. Now being told we have to file a claim. Can’t get in touch with anyone, u stay on hold just to be told to leave a message. No one calls back. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would give 0 stars if I could. Be careful of the Fredericksburg Ashley. It is the worst. Considering returning the entire order if I can. Just horrible.

We had the worst experience ever. They lied to us and said that our sofas would get delivered in a few days and then proceeded to deliver half of the sofas. When we asked them about it, they said that it would actually take around a month to deliver the rest of the sofas. We urgently requested that the rest be delivered asap since we had guests coming in a few days, but they were horrible with handling the situation and overall customer service. Please don’t go here.

We have bought many pieces of furniture and other home decor from Ashley and we’ve always had a great experience. This time was no different. We were helped by Elijah Kessler at who did an excellent job matching our needs (pet friendly pieces) with the perfect sofa and loveseat. We came to Ashley looking to replace a torturous couch and Shavon greeted us so politely and was very welcoming/comforting. Shavon made us feel safe and valued, which removed any pressures you might experience when making a large purchase. We left to compare other furniture stores (E.A.) and found them to be very judge-mental which only further reinforced our initial feelings about Ashley & Shavon! Considering the lower prices and high quality goods, I would highly recommend Ashley furniture, Shavon & Sam who helped us finalize the sale.

I wasn’t going to write this…I have waited months to try to allow Ashley furniture to remedy this situation-I tried so hard to hold out faith and give them the benefit of the doubt…Please do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with Ashley Furniture but especially the one on Carl D. Silver Pkwy in Fredericksburg, Va. I ordered a table and chairs set from this location, it arrived damaged and the second set arrived damaged today (after 3 months of waiting and to top it off the delivery drivers KNEW it was damaged prior to delivering it and told me to come outside to inspect it prior to their bringing it in because they already knew-like why waste anyone’s time when this could have been a phone call) they are refusing to provide a refund, they refused to take back the set that was delivered damaged in the first place and they state that they will only do an even exchange EXCEPT they no longer have the table and chairs set I originally ordered. So there is no way to even provide an “even exchange” the hassle and stress that this place has caused is unreal-please go anywhere but here you literally will be throwing your money away by doing business with this store. Also, don’t go to Trivetts either as they are now owned by this location as well and are just as bad. ***Update: The 3rd replacement table and chairs set also arrived damaged and the delivery crew provided photos of them picking the damaged furniture up from the warehouse-they acknowledged that they were aware that it was damaged prior to delivery yet [again] failed to call prior to delivery to inform me and they [again] refused to take back the original table and chairs set despite having an otherwise empty truck and “Ashley Cares Customer Service” has done literally nothing; they have failed to return phone calls on their noted timeline, and no one seems to know what is going on. **Update 2: Ashley furniture advised me they would pick up my furniture and provide a full refund-I call a week later inquiring about the refund to be told they “do not refund and either I have a store credit or I can eat my money.” I cannot stress this enough unless you want to be out $1700 or more money do not do business here.

1-star Review – Ashley Furniture, Fredericksburg, VA I had one of the worst retail experiences of my life with the Fredericksburg Ashley Furniture location. I financed items, paid a $120 deposit, and was told their “system was down” for over a week—conveniently preventing any progress on my order. Despite multiple calls and visits, no one made an effort to resolve the issue or offer alternatives. Eventually, I gave up entirely, walking away from my deposit just to avoid doing business with them. They never once attempted to make it right. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service was astounding. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the stress and go anywhere else.

I had bought two benches and talked with an associate on the phone to make the purchase. I was never told once I purchased, I couldn’t return them if it didn’t work with my dining room table. I had told them hadI known that I would have never purchased them. I had called, ask for the store manager to call with no luck. I ended having to pay a 30% restock fee, again never had been told. So I lost money having to pay the restock fee, and Ashley’s wouldn’t credit my credit card. The only thing they would do is a store credit. So I’m stuck shopping with Ashley’s, which I don’t want to support a company who doesn’t value their customers. I’m not sure why they have such high ratings because just two little benches I bought turned into a VERY NEGATIVE experience! Buyers beware, watch what you sign on the paperwork, that fine print will trap you like it did me. I would suggest shopping elsewhere.

Ashley Home Store has terrible customer service! My elderly mother paid extra for mattress delivery and removal, but they didn’t tell us we could request a time. The day before, they emailed a 7-10 AM window—way too early since her caregiver arrives at 8:30. When I called to ask for a later time, they refused to help and were rude about it. Zero compassion or flexibility. Don’t shop here!

Buying furniture is easy. Getting it all delivered, on time and when it was promised is completely different. 30% of the furniture arrived…. The rest has been kicked back 2 more times and deliver extended for weeks it’s unacceptable and no one seems to care. Everyone is in a meeting?!

If I could give this store and especially their distrbution center a zero star review I would. We purchase a large dining table and eight chairs, and king bed set with dresser and two matching night stands totalling in well over 6k. The table and chairs arrived on time and we were surprised to recieve the dresser early. Great. Except he tabletop had a sharp three inch gash in it that someone thought covering in marker would conceal. Yeah, nice try, but okay fine. Whatever. They put in a replacement request and a few weeks later they came to replace the tabletop. Cool. Now we wait for our bed and night stands. February finally rolls around three months later and we get the call we have been anticipating that the remainder of our furniture is in and ready to deliver. Yeyyyy. They bring in the night stand and they were fine, however the problem arises when they can't find the support for the bed. Uhmmm...why didn't they check all the pieces were there before delivery. I'm not sure. I do some woooosaaaahhhhsss and try to lose my irritated attitude. Okay, really I just let my husband take over since he's nicer than me. They decide to put our box spring and mattress on the floor but inside the bedframe. Awkward, but okay. Whatever I guess. They order and have shipped to our home the supposed missing pieces which arrive weeks later and schedule yet another visit to finish the furniture delivery and setup we paid extra for. You might think this is the end of our story, that our bed was finally finished and we lived happily ever after sleeping away on our nice put together bed, but no. This isnt the Ashleys Furniture fairytale we thought we paid for. It couldn't be that easy. They only sent three of the five supporting pieces and could not finish the job. My eyes could not have rolled farther into my head and Im chanting to myself, "don't be a Karen, don't be a Karen". At this point this will be the FIFTH time strangers will have to enter my home and correct multiple errors on something that should have taken one, maybe two trips at most to complete. This whole experience has been an absolute debacle and I think this will be the last time we shop Ashley's Furniture products. I warn you, be prepared for long waits and backorders, and incompetent delivery and set up. Goodluck with your purchase. Sincerely, an annoyed fool sleeping on the floor in the middle if a half completed bedframe being a Karen.

I talked to my husband into going to the Fredericksburg Ashley store to find the Stupendous collection! I fell in love with it at another Ashley store and hoped it would be at a store near us. Sure enough, there it was! My husband loves it too! Shavon was very helpful in helping us select the right quality pieces for our living room. She also figured out our style and found some great accessories to go with it at good prices. Shopping there was low pressure, with friendly sales people! We will be back!

The store had a wide selection of stylish and high-quality furniture, making it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. Options are way over priced and not what I wanted. Wasn’t allowed to walk around on my own. Was followed and forced to talk to someone and then basically held captive while they were trying to force a sale. My husband and I had to bolt out the door in order to escape after being trapped in here for almost two hours. Will not return, do not recommend. Why are they like this?? Also if they really wanted a sale, let me pick it out! A furniture store shouldn’t be like going to a car lot, and this place is worse than that! I was having so much anxiety I was about to scream if that lady had caught up to us as we were running out of this place, which I can’t handle. I mean FORCED to be walked around and told this one this one or that, oh why not? Why don’t you like it? Oh well this or this, no that’s this price, like ok. I can look at tags myself and nothing they were forcing me toward was of any quality. Please teach your sales persons to recognize people with anxiety, how to properly socially interact with people, and recognize when someone doesn’t need to be held captive in your store!

I was delivered furniture in Saran Wrap! The delivery specifically says will be delivered in original packaging but here I am looking at a headboard in Saran Wrap. Before you ask, no this was no a clearance item nor was it an as is item. I had no choice but to accept this delivery, because waiting at least two more weeks, due to me being a rural area, does not work for me. To add, in-store, there is no sign that they “Do Not Take American Express “ but a sales associate was instructed to tell people that. When I was ready to walk out and cancel my purchase then, all of a sudden they accept American Express. So is it policy or isn’t it? It was a mediocre experience start to finish and I’d prefer to never deal with this type of customer service again. I’m just hoping all my pieces to this bed are here. I did try and call to get clarity on how this can be an acceptable form of delivery; however, despite having several people at their front desk, no one answers the phones.

I've heard horror stories of delivery times & was skeptical of purchasing again after so many years. However, from the time I walked in I had the best customer service from the two gentlemen who helped me. The finance process was seamless and quick as well. Two days later my big comfy sectional was delivered at 7:30am & I wish I could stay home and lay on it all day! Thank you Ashley!

We had a very good experience from the first day we went in to get information. Halim was very helpful! We came back about 2 months later which was today 12/29/24 we asked for him and he remembered us and we got what we wanted. He worked with us in every step of the way and explained everything. I purchased a sleeper sofa sectional in October of 2024. In December of 2024, the sleeper fell from the frame. I found 1 bolt and 1 screw that had been holding it together. The bolt did not even fit in the nut on the frame as the nut was too large. I looked at the warranty which states to contact the retailer where the purchase was made. I arrived at the store with the purchase documents and was turned away saying I had to call customer service. This discrepancy in “service” is very disappointing. Very disappointed Upgraded to 4 stars due to the customer service department coming through and handling the issue. May have been 5 but the piece had to be returned to the warehouse for the fix. As I am currently in a studio apartment, this is my only real furniture and I ended up sleeping in the floor. Alexis was very helpful in getting me off the floor by organizing the repair and return.

I went in to look at mattresses, just to look around- not anticipating buying anything. But I ended up finding a tempur-pedic that I really liked and Paul was there checking in throughout the whole process. Not in the pushy way some furniture sales men can be, but he just kept popping up asking if we had any questions, if we needed anything and it really helped me feel a lot more comfortable choosing a mattress not having someone breathing down my neck at every turn. I placed an order for a dining room table here and they mentioned it would take two-three weeks. I called at week three and they ended up delaying 3 times every for the 3 times i called back. Then delivery date is set, and they tell me that the pieces were damaged. Ont top of that I had a previous coffee table that when they came to install it, didnt even do the complete install. Their furniture is nice but dont know how to take care of anything else after sale.

I had a fantastic experience at Ashley furniture in Central Park, Fredericksburg VA. We were greeted by Jared and left to browse on our own. I liked that I wasn’t followed and “sold” something with high pressure tactics. When we had questions, Jared was extremely helpful. He even rearranged furniture to help us visualize the setup. I feel like we got great furniture at a great price. The manager, Noor came to speak with us and gave the entire experience a hometown feel. Wonderful experience and Jared earned our business for years to come.

Going into the store to pick out furniture is definitely easy and great because they know that you are going to be spending a lot of money so the customer service is excellent. It’s after you leave the store that the customer service goes completely downhill. Six months later, we are still waiting on a final piece of furniture. Only to be told that now it’s discontinued and not available. So now we have a bedroom set with a missing nightstand and so we either have to drive an hour to go pick up a floor model that’s probably all banged up or get store credit and get something different which won’t even match our bedroom set because they won’t give you your money back. Absolutely the worst furniture store I have ever dealt with and will never ever give them another dollar from our money. Do not recommend! Complete rip off!! Also don’t recommend writing good reviews right after making your purchase. Wait until all of your furniture has hopefully been delivered. **update… My husband drove 2 hours round trip to go to another Ashley Furniture location to pick up the floor model final piece of furniture. No thanks to the sales associates at the Fredericksburg location. For months I have had to constantly call the store for updates since it took 6 months for all of the furniture to arrive. They apparently didn’t think it was important enough to call us to let us know a piece of furniture we ordered was now discontinued. Why would they…when they are in possession of our non refundable money. That’s after the sales associate Paul forgot to order my son’s dresser and nightstand. He finally ordered it 3 months later after the second delivery showed up with missing items. What a nightmare dealing with that store. I like our furniture, but don’t recommend Ashley Furniture EVER!

Disappointing Customer Service and Delivery Experience While Ashley Furniture offers a wide selection of products, their customer service, manufacturing quality control, and return processes leave much to be desired. We purchased furniture in February 2024, with plans to receive them in August. The problems started during the delivery process. Although we specifically coordinated for an August delivery, we discovered the couches were on backorder with no clear communication from Ashley from February through August. Modifying an order before delivery was unnecessarily complicated, requiring multiple calls with long wait times of 10–20 minutes each. Communication overall was poor—per the representing on the phone, when trying to coordinate the delivery, customers are only notified 15 minutes before delivery and are expected to accept shipments at extremely inconvenient hours, sometimes as late as 12-3 a.m. In contrast, companies like Sleep Number have set a higher standard by providing consistent updates, allowing easy online order adjustments, and offering genuinely supportive customer service. Ashley Furniture could significantly improve by adopting a customer-first approach. As if the delivery issues weren't enough, when the couches finally arrived, one had a cigarette stain on a sewn-in cushion—an unacceptable quality oversight. Shockingly, they sent the same damaged couch again 1.5 weeks later. Now, one month after the original delivery date, I am still waiting for a resolution. I had previously heard of bad experiences with Ashley Furniture from two other people—one in Durham, North Carolina and another in Concord, California—and hoped this store would be different. Unfortunately, it seems Ashley Furniture's poor processes are a nationwide issue, preventing employees from delivering the best service they can.

Sam was awesome helping us pick out a dining room table. That said... Bought a dining room table set, spent the day waiting for delivery. Called T&T, and was told delivery was 10-20 minutes out. Awesome! An hour later, I call back to find out it was never put on the truck due to unspecified damage, is the only one in the warehouse, and a replacement won't arrive at the warehouse for 15+ days before delivery can even be rescheduled. Tried to get clarification with Ashley Customer Care, who can't work with anyone that doesn't have a product in the home. Outside their scope. Rep suggested I call back and speak with someone at the store... Not so awesome... Called the store to cancel the order and get a refund, speaking with the Customer Service Manager, only to find out that I need to get approval from the Ashley Accounting department before I'm allowed to get a refund for a product I'm not receiving in anything close to the expected window...

We came in today looking for set for our new home because another furniture store screwed up on our delivery(already waiting 6 weeks). Shavon was AMAZING! She heard how urgently we needed furniture but still wanted something we loved! She helped us find something and get it on the truck for delivery within 3 days of purchase! Super thankful for her!

Changed from a 5 to a 1. Received product delivery confirmation Tuesday and again Thursday, but the item was damaged and never delivered, though I was told it was 10-20 minutes away by T&T after waiting out for 6 hours of the 4 hour delivery window, (figured they might just be a bit behind. Life happens) It was also the only one in the warehouse and is now on backorder. Approx 16th for restock and delivery can be rescheduled. Lots of hoops later, I Requested refund for failed agreed delivery, now Ashley refuses to refund until the accounting department reviews my request… which can take up to 2 weeks… Run around customer service business model, zero communication to customer, dumpster inventory management, and pressed to leave the review before we even left the store (buyers high, good tactic, pretty dirty though…) Bought our couches and other furniture from here… Will never be back…

Halim, our salesperson, and Noor, the General Sales Manager, were extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional when we bought a new Tempur-Pedic mattress. Halim explained very thoroughly how the new mattress helps with alleviating or reducing back pain. When I put my sore back on the kind of mattress that we bought, I felt instant relief with the vibration that was part of the mattress. We can’t wait till we get our new mattress in a few days. So disgusted I spent so much money at this store for the customer service department to be as horrible as it’s been. They sold me a damaged box spring less than 6 months ago and the only thing they offered for compensation was a $100 gift card to their store to purchase another one. Why would I spend anymore money at this store is the question I am asking them? If you are looking for great customer service or for your warranty to actually do what it is supposed to do not shop here. If you have money to waste on damaged pieces of furniture then this is the place for you

They sold me a defective cabinet and didnt inform me. So, READ the sales paperwork before the sale is complete. The sales staff will tell you they have your product in stock or can get it back on a certain date, take your money while you wait on an unknown date. Once delivered, you get a shoddy assembled product. I will never shop at an Ashley store again. CAVEAT: If sales staff is taking an unusually long to determine if they have your selected furniture in stock.., LEAVE!

Shavon at the Fredericksburg, VA home store was Amazing! I went in to look at a living room set I had been eying for months but I needed to see it in person. I'm glad I did, because it wasn't what I thought it would be. I changed my thoughts towards a leather reclining set instead. Sharon, showed me one that had everything I was looking for and more. Surprisingly, I was more so stuck on choosing a color. I came in thinking i wanted a Carmel color and ended up with Gray because it's diverse.

Erica was awesome! She took us directly to the furniture we were looking for and it was perfect. She went out of her way to get our delivery as quick as possible. Great job! Update- I initially gave this store five stars, mostly because of our sales person, Erica. Unfortunately the service received post purchase has reduced the star quantity! We had to wait over a month to receive our furniture. Erica was able to break up our delivery, to get us at least our recliner and then the rest of the furniture was supposed to come two weeks later. That two weeks turned into five weeks. Having just relocated to Virginia, we had nothing but the one recliner for five weeks. Upon receipt of the remainder of our furniture, one piece was broken and the other had missing parts. We received the missing parts in the mail two weeks after delivery- and had to install the parts ourselves, even though I paid for delivery and installation. The broken furniture- is the recliner in our sofa. It won't go back into the couch, it stays extended. I just received an email stating the parts won't be in until October!! This couch was delivered in July. Why is it taking three months to get it fixed! I went to the Ashley Store to ask for help and all I was told was to reply to the email I received about the recliner being repaired and ask to speak to a manager. That maybe that supervisor would give me a credit for a future purchase. No way in the world will I EVER purchase from Ashley again! We spent thousands there- dinner room set, couch, recliner, coffee table, end table, and credenza. To be treated like this is ridiculous. Very unsatisfied!! Update #2- After the above post, I was contacted the next day by Ashley's delivery service telling me they had a new couch for us to be delivered I two days. I was very happily surprised! We have our new couch and the recliner works great. Thank you Ashleys.

Came in to buy a new couch. When we got in, we were heated by Mohammad, who let us know he was here to help us if we needed it. He wasn't overbearing, and let us browse until we had questions. We felt no pressure, and it was a very pleasant experience.

He knew when to give us time and space to explore without hovering. Mohammad made our Ashley’s furniture experience pleasant and expedient. I do not recommend this store at all. Poor quality. They do not send what they show in the store with the same quality. I spent almost $3800. The chest of drawers they sent is of very poor quality, it seems second-hand, repainted, scratched, and it is broken. When we pulled out the drawers, there was a liquid in a plastic bag at the back, I don't know if it's paint or some other substance. The food table they sent is also broken. As shown in the picture, I noticed it immediately and informed the delivery team. They said their team would come to fix it, but I never heard from them again. I called this store, but they did not take care of anything. When they realize it's me calling, they hang up the phone on my face. When you go to the store, they praise their items a lot, but then send broken items and do not answer customer calls. When I called the delivery section, they did not take care of anything either. They have very bad customer service and lie to customers. I do not recommend buying from this store at all.

I came here to buy dor for sectional sofa and a mattress. With tons of options available, we were quite confused, but our salesperson Erica was extremely helpful! We spent 2 hours there and she showed us every possible option we would be interested in with great enthusiasm. Finally we bought a great sectional for just 600 dollars. I think this is the best place in Fredericksburg to find bang for the buck deals.

He was friendly, fast, and efficient. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and he respected my wishes, while also offering other items along my same line of desires. He was very knowledgeable of the products and service plans that they offer and made sure that my needs were met. At check out, Olivia was friendly and efficient as well. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and all my needs were met!
