I have never written a review for anything. Worst customer service. I have been waiting around too long so I DIDN’T want the products anymore. I emailed manager to ask refund and she said “OK”. Literally just “OK” on the email. I have not heard anything for a week and sent follow up email. She said “detail sent to voice mail” which I never received. And now telling me that you only can offer a store credit?? I really don’t wanna deal with this store. How can I get my money back? It’s been two month, nothing resolved. I will call to headquarter or bank, will do anything. I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started my furniture purchase journey with Adam on Saturday evening. I needed to double check the measurements of my space so I went home with a plan to return on Sunday. I came back, Adam was busy giving excellent customer service to another customer but he tagged in a friend, Eddie, who also provided great customer service. They, both, were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'll probably be back to spend more money. Lol. It was such a seamless process.

We’ve been working with Ashely furniture since we moved here early August. We visited the store, recieved the things we were looking for and were super content with service. From the following day on, it’s been nothing but headaches. Parts of what we ordered missing, on back order etc, upon delivery things were broken, in excess, missing… we ended up settling for different colors for the boys beds than originally ordered because they didn’t have what we ordered, and then one of them came broken again, the boys were sleeping on a mattress on the floor for over a month.. now when our queen frame arrived it came broken, we requested it to be repaired by a tech, after much resistance, they agreed. We had an appointment for this morning, the guy never knocked, but said he was here and no one was home (also gave the wrong house color when challenged..) we spent thousands of dollars on products from this store and have been met with lies, bad organization, delivery guys who are dropping furniture down, messing the walls up, breaking our key hanger, occasionally one of them reeks of weed. And the inability to hold a good reputation for supposedly solid furniture that arrives with cracks, chips, dents. We will never buy from Ashely again. They have a mission to sell what they can and not follow through with good service once they have sold stuff.

If I could give zero stars I would. This store's customer service is absolute garbage. My husband and I purchased a dining room set during their "Labor Day Sale" where nothing was on sale and after tax and delivery, the total came to a few dollars shy of $2,100. This was a new product purchase and not an "as is" product from the outlet. During the entire sales process, Tasnia (I think this was her name) and I spoke at length about the table, chairs and bench. When we went to pay, they took my husband's card at the back, chest high desk and had him sign their electronic signature ipad for the card purchase. And I quote, "I just need you to initial here and sign here." We never saw an actual copy of the quote or receipt prior to the sale except for the sheet of paper that she had with her and was writing the product numbers on during our floor walk. Fast forward to delivery time. The day prior to the sale, we were called asking if we meant to buy the regular height bench since everything else was countertop height. Nope, that was your error. Ok, moving on. Thanks for fixing it and not charging us more since your store messed up the item. The day of delivery, the 2 man team unloaded everything in the street and brought it upstairs to assemble the table. The bench and chairs were already assembled. After they sat the table up. I noticed that it was severely wobbly. As if their legs were different heights. When I mentioned this to the delivery team, they told me, "I don't know what's wrong because it's put together exactly. Your floor must be off." Um...no. I told them that the table we just pulled out of that room was not wobbly on the floor, my floor is not uneven. The team doubled down that my floor was uneven and then proceeded to slide the table along my floor attempting to prove that my floor is uneven by wobbling it in different areas. Guess what didn't change? The wobbliness of the table in all areas of my floor. They called their dispatch and we called customer care and were given 2 options. They could either leave the chairs and bench and redeliver a new table or they could take everything and redeliver all new everything. I opted for them to take everything. Then customer care asked if I wanted them to bring the same chairs and bench back when they redeliver a new table or if I want all new everything. I told her that since they had unwrapped all the chairs and the bench and were not rewrapping them, I did not want chairs that had been damaged on the truck ride back to be redelivered to my house. After they left, I measured my entire kitchen floor with a level and lo and behold, found no issues with my floor. Talking with my husband we decided that we would cancel the order because we did not want to have another table delivered by the same team just for them to tell us the same thing and I didn't really trust that they were going to bring new chairs. The whole thing seemed off to us. When my husband contacted Ashley's they told us that the sale was a final sale and that we were only going to get store credit for the $2,100 sale. WHAT!? The person he spoke to said that they would request the corporation to give us the refund. Yeah no. That's not ok. They then called back a couple days later from the store and told us that what he signed is a binding contract that stated it was store credit only and they were not legally bound to disclose that to us. WHAT ON EARTH!? Yes. You absolutely have to tell someone that what they are signing negates their ability to cancel/return a sale when they DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT. The gal on the phone then told my husband that she represents corporate and she would not be issuing the refund. Cool. We've filed a claim with our bank and will be retaining a lawyer. This is HORRIBLE customer service.

I like the staff here. They work with you and your budget and don't rush you either. Rooster especially was great and gave great input too! So so. We were ready to get my home furniture because here you can "Grab and Go." But if you do, take it at your own risk; they do not wrap it or provide materials. They have some of the furniture at the regular store, too. It's better to shop for cars than furniture here. They don't even give water!

Ended up coming in twice in the same day. First time, Elijah helped me find some end tables. Super helpful and friendly. Second time in, Fayth helped me with purchasing a sectional. As we were inspecting it, we found a hole in the back of one piece. Rooster was able to check the warehouse and arranged for us to get a replacement at the same time we pick up the couch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Eddie French lied to my family about what was in stock, when our items would be delivered and about the protection plan we purchased. It's now a month past our original date we were told by Eddie of when our furniture would be delivered and we are still missing furniture. The first day everything was supposedly coming. Then only half showed up. And the general manager informed us that Eddie sold us items that are no longer made and not in stock. The second delivery day (two weeks later with same items ordered but in different color) one of the beds arrived with a broken side board. Set up our queen bed wrong and broke a drawer in the process and we are still waiting for their "techs" to come fix it. Every time their delivery company has come in our house they have caused damage and were hateful about it when brought to their attention on the second delivery. The general manager (Rasheed)was initially helpful at the beginning of the issues but has now failed to call me back with promised information twice. The head of the delivery company (Inmar) promised they would send somebody out to fix the issues by today, But nobody showed up and now he doesn't answer the phone. Absolutely worst experience with any customer service in my life from these people. This is the type of place where the bad reputation of salesmen comes from. Again, avoid at all costs.

This place will make you feel very uncomfortable. The whole time we tried looking at furniture we were practically being stalked around the store. We made a quick decision on what table we wanted so we could be left alone. The older lady named faith helped us and she smelled very strong of a horrible perfume (note that I have asthma and it instantly irrated my lungs and gave me a migraine so bad I had to step outside and have my husband finish but the smell made him sick to his stomach.) One piece of our furniture was damaged so we left it behind to be repaired and they did not even install the shelfs or give us the hardware to do so. We were very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.

I wouldn't recommend Ashley furniture store in spotsyvania va to anyone! Post covid this store still has major STORE ISSUES and not keeping its word on furniture delivery. I purchased a bed( with cash) under the impression that this item would be available for pickup on the agreed date. (My mom is traveling to Fredericksburg) I now have to put her in a hotel in which its costing more money, they're claiming it's store policy not to issue refunds. Ashley claim to have Happiness Guarantee policy. Again I never received my furniture and I have to wait until next month to receive my money. I wouldn't recommend Ashley furniture store especially in Fredericksburg to anyone! BC

Update to my review: I’m really quite frustrated that I had to keep calling the location to figure out where my order was. Although the first portion of my delivery was fine- the second portion i had to keep calling. Apparently my order was sitting in the warehouse and Ashley had “attempted to call me” but it was the wrong number, which doesn’t make sense since they had the right number for the first delivery. They told me I can pick up my order as it is ready- but i had paid for delivery! Now instead of trying to make things right- they’re making me wait an additional 5 days for delivery that I paid for. If i had not called in today, my order would’ve been sitting there for another week! And it wasn’t a large order or anything- but just a twin mattress. Disappointed with the customer service i received and will think again before purchasing something from this location. Eddie French did an amazing job! We came in for a patio set and ended up buying a mattress. He was very professional, honest, and gave us a great deal. Thanks again Eddie!

I have been an Ashley customer for a few years now. I have to say I've never had any issues. No problems in sales, delivery, or items purchased. Recently I went into the outlet store in Fredericksburg Virginia. I was kindly greeted by Joshua, the salesman. I told him what I was interested in. He walked me over to the dresser. The price was a bit higher than I expected so I decided to look around. Found one that was closer to my price range, and he smiled and said he would see what he could do. With the help of his manager, I was able to get the dresser, and at a really good price! Fast delivery, friendly workers were in and out within minutes! I went to the Ashley Homestore Outlet in Fredericksburg on 2/16 and received a massive amount of help help Taylor. She was so welcoming and professional. I needed a lot of furniture and didn't know where I wanted to start. Taylor walked me around the store several times and took note of each of the couches I liked. Fast forward 2 days, I came back to my husband and the list Taylor made and was greeted by Deangelo (Taylor was not working that day). Once again, Deangelo gave us space to explore, checked in on us, and answered every question we had professionally and respectfully. Great service from Deangelo. Very helpful and wasn't pushy like many salespeople are Not so great service from the rest of the staff. We signed off on the paper for delivery with our correct address on it only to get a confirmation email confirming delivery for an address not even in our town. We called to get it sorted out and were told we couldn't get a refund for the delivery except in store credit because of an error on their part. And come to find out the only avaliable delivery date for our actuall address was only on Thursdays. Very disappointed in their customer service and refusal to properly correct an error that was on their part

We were greeted by a sales person named Stephen who was friendly but when we were ready to purchase two end tables he gave us a paper to fill out and said he’d be right back. 15 mins later we asked another sales person if they could help us and she informed us that Stephen was helping another customer and she would try to help. It took 45 mins in total for someone to write up and charge our card for the end tables. Stephen never came back to check on us. Sarah, the other sales person who helped was friendly was she and another sales person had too much trouble getting the machine to work to pay for it. Great prices but it felt as if our purchase wasn’t large enough to deserve the full attention of a sales person.

I would like to recant my original review. I had originally posted the below. Neil was great! The item on the floor was more than online and he honored the online price. He was very patient and transparent and I didn’t feel like I was being sold, neither a customer, rather a friend. Great customer service! Here is why. When they delivered the furniture I noticed that it was the floor model because of the damages I observed from the floor model. I was told by Neil at the time of purchase that they had it in stock in there warehouse.While I was offered the online price, I was told I was purchasing the floor model. It took over a week to resolve and I tried negotiating a lower price because we liked the furniture. After 10+ days we decided to keep the furniture, only to find the furniture was damaged even more under the cushions. We have been long time customers of Ashley, 20+ years and this recent experience has definitely added a sour taste to previous experiences.

First time visiting the Outlet location (instead of the Central Park location) and was greeted by Neil as soon as I walked on sales floor. I told Neil what I was in the market for and what financing needs were. Not only did he save me a trip across town to probably buy a couch I was settling for, but I’m leaving completely satisfied with the piece I really wanted AND 2 free pillows to boot! Excellent service would be an understatement, Neil was very accommodating, he worked tirelessly and diligently with the intensity of a thousand suns, there was no mountain too tall, no valley too deep. Neil drudged through the trenches that are in store financing paperwork like a warrior with nothing but the sweat on his brow and the shirt on his back. Don’t ever deal with this company. Paid cash on Black Friday for a couch/loveseat. First I was told that the loveseat was on back order. I waited a week and contacted them and was told that now the couch was on back order. Waited another week, same story. They did delivered the loveseat but was hoping to get the couch before the holidays since I was having guests at Christmas. NEVER HAPPENED. I had people sitting on my coffee table. Contacted them again and was told that they would get an estimated time of delivery and they would call me back. Didn’t happen. I made a visit to the store and was told ETA would’ve be 12/20. Todays date is 12/27. I asked what year they were talking about. Now I’m getting my sofa from the showroom floor tomorrow (12/28). No discount was offered. After several delivery dates and missed work at least two days, maybe, just maybe, I’ll get my couch. Don’t ask for a refund. They don’t do that. They’ll offer you a store credit only. Happy New Year, hopefully.

Hey guys today was an amazing deal. We got better deal with Mohammed’s involvement. When you go look for Mohammed!!! At the spotsylvania location. He made everything smooth. Trust me we kept having different interests and opinion about a dinning set and bar stool. Through it all he was patient and had us walk out with a better deal and the perfect dinning set ever😃😃😃😃
