We had a really good experience at this outlet store. Once we walked in we were immediately greeted with a vibrant and cheery “hello, how are you!” from one of the hosts. We looked for a minute and then was approached by a lovely young lady named Shailah who was absolutely wonderful. She showed us some of the different couch options we were looking at but then left us to look around for a little bit. That is something we appreciate when we shop. We don’t like people hovering over us asking a lot of questions and not giving us time to really look around. When she came back we were sitting on a couch that we were interested in. Any questions we had she answered, and if she didn’t know she would ask. We also were looking at a standalone chair but decided not to get it. Checking out was easy. Any questions we had they answered to our satisfaction. The store is clean and well organized. They also had a nice selection and were reasonably priced, whether on sale or not. I would recommend coming to this store if anyone is looking for nice furniture at a good price.

Update: Be warned that post-sale service may be an issue. Within a month of our furniture being delivered, the zipper on the underside of one of the (attached) seat back cushions on our leather sectional has broken. The seat back cushion now looks like a deflated balloon, since the fill is just falling out. Eddie encouraged us to purchase the protection plan, which we did. After a LOT of back and forth with the protection plan vendor, they refuse to cover the broken zipper and said we needed to work with the store to get resolution. I've left multiple messages at the store over the past two weeks and gotten ZERO return calls. Original Review: After reading all the glowing reviews regarding Eddie's service, our expectations were high and he did not disappoint! Eddie was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, but not overbearing. We were shopping for a couch and found one that suited our needs perfectly! He was able to help arrange quick delivery and our new furniture was here in time for our family's visit. Not only did we purchase a couch, we also purchased a new mattress with Eddie's help. Unrelated to this review about the level of service we received, my PSA to anyone that's considering Ashley's "Better Than a Boxspring" bedframe platform................DON"T DO IT! We went with the "Better Than" option and really regret it. It's not a solid surface (my husband and I refer to it as the "prison bed" because it looks like the coil-style bedframe from the old movies that would just have a flimsy mattress rolled out across the top!). As a result, it doesn't hold sheets or bed skirt well. We have been extremely disappointed with it. On a bright note, though, the mattress Eddie helped us with was described as "insanely comfortable" by our most recent guest!

Tiffany is an amazing sales person! She helped us with our sectional a few weeks ago. We returned today and purchased a king size mattress. She is knowledgeable and answers each of our questions while making sure we understand your products match our needs and budget! When she told us during the course of conversation she’s been with Ashley since February, I was surprised! She seems like she’s been there much longer! You have a gem in Tiffany! I’m sure we’ll be back to purchase more furniture once we’ve paid off these purchases!

Went in looking for a new mattress within budget. We ended up spending a little over what we wanted, but we walked away with a great mattress and adjustable base. We worked with Eddie French and he was a huge help. Set us up for success! Super personable, and got us on the right track.

Be wary with here. Some folks don't understand the concept of customer service. Minus all the examples of poor or nonexistent communication, it took 3 weeks and a lot of unnecessary hassle to get refund after never receiving item. Thank you, Olivia and Rachel, for at least trying to help and being respectful. Roger definitely needs to enroll in some life skills courses that teach communication, conflict management, and customer service. A lot of this could have been avoided if he had learned to "Remove the Emotion" and take 3 minutes to call someone back and not dodge call for a full day and leave. He listens to respond and doesn't listen to understand. Don't interject yourself into personal conversations after you were asked to speak to someone senior to you.

Came in looking for a couch or loveseat. Worked with Eddie French, he was the perfect mix of knowledgeable, friendly, and definitely not pushy. We were stuck between 2 couches and decided to come back the next day. Met with him and finalized the sale. The furniture selection and prices were quite good. We had 6 pieces that caught our eye, and 2 we were torn between. I like how Eddie was around and answered some questions, but he wasn't hovering or anything like that. I wasn't planning on shopping from a big box store, but I'm glad I did.

Horrible! Found lots of furniture and was ready to buy, but the salesperson, Tiffany, was only concerned about company policy, not actually thinking outside the box about how to help people with the delivery process. Invest in people who actually care who don’t literally argue with you as you’re walking out the door. Also consider “company policy” that makes the whole buying process smooth.

Compared to typical Ashley stores around this area, the staff in this store is very professional and caring.

After being told that my new couch and coffee table would arrive today, it wasn't. I was on the customer line for nearly an hour before I found out that somebody had put it on hold in the store after calling the manager at the store. I was told that only a few pieces would show up this Friday. Then the rest would show up next, hopefully, and this is after I got rid of all of my old furniture out of my house, so for the rest of the next week and a half, my family. I have no place to sit down to have family time together. I am not very happy with the store; they did not have any resolutions to this issue. Just an apology

UPDATE: 6/4 For the 3rd time, I spoke to customer care last week on Friday and got assured the manager was working on it. They offered delivery and asked me to pick that date. I picked today, Wednesday the 4th in the morning because I'm home just for the morning today. It's 11 o'clock, I have to leave at 1 and I have not gotten a delivery or a phone call. Called the Outlet store and to my actual surprise, someone answered. But guess what? My furniture is still there. They have no instructions from customer care that it was supposed to be delivered today. Yet another fail and I have NO resolve and NO furniture. OG Post - I want to say that as someone in a customer service related field, I absolutely hate to leave bad reviews but, this is unacceptable. We bought furniture off the floor at the Fredericksburg Outlet on a Saturday. Made a plan to pick it up on that Monday. I went into the store on Monday to make sure everything was ok and to see if there would be anyone who might be able to assist my husband and his friend be sure they placed them correctly in the truck. I was assured they could assist and that the furniture was in the back and ready. My husband shows up paperwork in hand on that Monday as scheduled. They tell him that our furniture was not there and it was at the warehouse and to go pick it up there. He asked the guy at the podium to look at his paperwork and was told, No. I don't need to see it, we don't hold furniture here. So my husband goes to the warehouse and it locked up. It's not even open on Mondays. Meanwhile, I'm calling and calling and calling the Outlet, the store in central park, to no avail. I then call Trivett's store as I know they are the parent company. They are able to transfer me over to the Outlet. I told the agent what happened, was escalated to the manager, and told her. Not being very sympathetic to our situation she tells me that best they can do is offer us $100 off their $229 delivery fee and let me know they had a coaching session with the employee. While I can appreciate that they have educated their employee, it does not solve my problem. I travel for work, my kids are in travel sports and we're up against a holiday weekend where we have an away tournament. We shouldn't have to pay for any delivery fee after doing everything we were supposed to do, showing up on time, having help with us, and being sent away. Approximately 10 calls and 3 conversations to customer care, 3 weeks later I still have no resolve. I will say when I have gotten ahold of customer care they have been delightful, empathetic, and willing to help. I was told today that our case was escalated to the manager of customer care and I should expect a resolve within 24-48 hours. We'll see.

Ambar goes the extra mile for her customers. She texted me when there was a sale going on because she knew I was in the market for new furniture. She stayed late to accommodate my schedule. We had a few hiccups but she worked diligently to get everything straight. She stayed in contact and never pushy. Will definitely save her number for future purchases.

We purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture about a month ago, and while our sales associate was great, the delivery process has been an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. On our scheduled delivery date, we only received part of our couch—without any prior notice that it would come in multiple shipments. We were never informed that a key piece was on backorder, and when we reached out for answers, we were met with poor customer service and a complete lack of accountability. I got multiple different excuse as to why the actual couch was not delivered, ranging from back order to quality control. At the end we figured out the entire order had been in the warehouse since earlier this week. Not only did Ashley’s and T&T Distribution refuse to take responsibility for their error, but they also refused to provide me with their delivery policy. I kept getting the runaround from both companies, with no one willing to make it right. Instead, I was told that it was my responsibility to either come pick up the missing piece myself or wait until the next delivery window—despite having paid for shipping. They won’t adjust the delivery fee or offer any sort of compensation for this massive inconvenience. Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere. Once they have your money, customer service is nonexistent.

They have a good selection of all price ranges. We bought a sofa and ottoman. Our salesman, Chris, was AWESOME! Extremely helpful and patient as we tried almost every sofa several times. We even had one picked out and paperwork started then realized the back cushions were attached to the sofa, which neither of us like - so we had to sort of start all over. Wonderful guy! Knowledgeable and quick to get an answer for us if he didn't know. Couldn't ask for a better experience or salesperson!

They don't take accountability in their mistakes and will use that against you in holding your money. Horrible! They made me sign an electronic agreement super quick and never explain all sales are finals and the mattress I purchase is not even available . I have to wait two weeks for the new lote, I asked to cancel a week after purchase and they said it has to be up to corporate the approval. Very disappointed I don’t want to purchase with them anymore but they won’t give me my money back . I feel trap.

I have never written a review for anything. Worst customer service. I have been waiting around too long so I DIDN’T want the products anymore. I emailed manager to ask refund and she said “OK”. Literally just “OK” on the email. I have not heard anything for a week and sent follow up email. She said “detail sent to voice mail” which I never received. And now telling me that you only can offer a store credit?? I really don’t wanna deal with this store. How can I get my money back? It’s been two month, nothing resolved. I will call to headquarter or bank, will do anything. I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started my furniture purchase journey with Adam on Saturday evening. I needed to double check the measurements of my space so I went home with a plan to return on Sunday. The worst service ever. I bought a set of end table and cocktail table but paid each one separately . The delivery company broke my end table. When I did speak with Ashley they offered to give me a $50 card for the table that was $109. Then when I did not take that they offer to take the set back but wouldn’t let me keep my cocktail table. I also asked could they atleast pay for half of what I paid for the end table they said no. I also asked could that put the $50 toward my bill and they said no.

We’ve been working with Ashely furniture since we moved here early August. We visited the store, recieved the things we were looking for and were super content with service. From the following day on, it’s been nothing but headaches. Parts of what we ordered missing, on back order etc, upon delivery things were broken, in excess, missing… we ended up settling for different colors for the boys beds than originally ordered because they didn’t have what we ordered, and then one of them came broken again, the boys were sleeping on a mattress on the floor for over a month.. now when our queen frame arrived it came broken, we requested it to be repaired by a tech, after much resistance, they agreed. We had an appointment for this morning, the guy never knocked, but said he was here and no one was home (also gave the wrong house color when challenged..) we spent thousands of dollars on products from this store and have been met with lies, bad organization, delivery guys who are dropping furniture down, messing the walls up, breaking our key hanger, occasionally one of them reeks of weed. And the inability to hold a good reputation for supposedly solid furniture that arrives with cracks, chips, dents. We will never buy from Ashely again. They have a mission to sell what they can and not follow through with good service once they have sold stuff.

My boyfriend and I came in looking for an upgraded mattress. We did not know where to begin our search. We were greeted by many people around the store. Eddie was one of the people who greeted us and was very pleasant, outgoing, and friendly. He quickly assessed our needs for a new mattress and found us the perfect one within minutes! He also listened to our likes and dislikes and led us to the perfect bed frame as well. Josh also was very helpful with our final paperwork. If I could give zero stars I would. This store's customer service is absolute garbage. My husband and I purchased a dining room set during their "Labor Day Sale" where nothing was on sale and after tax and delivery, the total came to a few dollars shy of $2,100. This was a new product purchase and not an "as is" product from the outlet. During the entire sales process, Tasnia (I think this was her name) and I spoke at length about the table, chairs and bench. When we went to pay, they took my husband's card at the back, chest high desk and had him sign their electronic signature ipad for the card purchase. And I quote, "I just need you to initial here and sign here." We never saw an actual copy of the quote or receipt prior to the sale except for the sheet of paper that she had with her and was writing the product numbers on during our floor walk. Fast forward to delivery time. The day prior to the sale, we were called asking if we meant to buy the regular height bench since everything else was countertop height. Nope, that was your error. Ok, moving on. Thanks for fixing it and not charging us more since your store messed up the item. The day of delivery, the 2 man team unloaded everything in the street and brought it upstairs to assemble the table. The bench and chairs were already assembled. After they sat the table up. I noticed that it was severely wobbly. As if their legs were different heights. When I mentioned this to the delivery team, they told me, "I don't know what's wrong because it's put together exactly. Your floor must be off." Um...no. I told them that the table we just pulled out of that room was not wobbly on the floor, my floor is not uneven. The team doubled down that my floor was uneven and then proceeded to slide the table along my floor attempting to prove that my floor is uneven by wobbling it in different areas. Guess what didn't change? The wobbliness of the table in all areas of my floor. They called their dispatch and we called customer care and were given 2 options. They could either leave the chairs and bench and redeliver a new table or they could take everything and redeliver all new everything. I opted for them to take everything. Then customer care asked if I wanted them to bring the same chairs and bench back when they redeliver a new table or if I want all new everything. I told her that since they had unwrapped all the chairs and the bench and were not rewrapping them, I did not want chairs that had been damaged on the truck ride back to be redelivered to my house. After they left, I measured my entire kitchen floor with a level and lo and behold, found no issues with my floor. Talking with my husband we decided that we would cancel the order because we did not want to have another table delivered by the same team just for them to tell us the same thing and I didn't really trust that they were going to bring new chairs. The whole thing seemed off to us. When my husband contacted Ashley's they told us that the sale was a final sale and that we were only going to get store credit for the $2,100 sale. WHAT!? The person he spoke to said that they would request the corporation to give us the refund. Yeah no. That's not ok. They then called back a couple days later from the store and told us that what he signed is a binding contract that stated it was store credit only and they were not legally bound to disclose that to us. WHAT ON EARTH!? Yes. You absolutely have to tell someone that what they are signing negates their ability to cancel/return a sale when they DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT. The gal on the phone then told my husband that she represents corporate and she would not be issuing the refund. Cool. We've filed a claim with our bank and will be retaining a lawyer. This is HORRIBLE customer service.

Rooster is hands down the BEST! Amazing customer service, he made me feel right at home the minute I walked in! Helped me find exactly what I needed in a matter of minutes! I had one of the best experiences in Ashley’s today because of him!

Ended up coming in twice in the same day. First time, Elijah helped me find some end tables. Super helpful and friendly. Second time in, Fayth helped me with purchasing a sectional. As we were inspecting it, we found a hole in the back of one piece. Rooster was able to check the warehouse and arranged for us to get a replacement at the same time we pick up the couch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Eddie French lied to my family about what was in stock, when our items would be delivered and about the protection plan we purchased. It's now a month past our original date we were told by Eddie of when our furniture would be delivered and we are still missing furniture. The first day everything was supposedly coming. Then only half showed up. And the general manager informed us that Eddie sold us items that are no longer made and not in stock. The second delivery day (two weeks later with same items ordered but in different color) one of the beds arrived with a broken side board. Set up our queen bed wrong and broke a drawer in the process and we are still waiting for their "techs" to come fix it. Every time their delivery company has come in our house they have caused damage and were hateful about it when brought to their attention on the second delivery. The general manager (Rasheed)was initially helpful at the beginning of the issues but has now failed to call me back with promised information twice. The head of the delivery company (Inmar) promised they would send somebody out to fix the issues by today, But nobody showed up and now he doesn't answer the phone. Absolutely worst experience with any customer service in my life from these people. This is the type of place where the bad reputation of salesmen comes from. Again, avoid at all costs.

I wouldn't recommend Ashley furniture store in spotsyvania va to anyone! Post covid this store still has major STORE ISSUES and not keeping its word on furniture delivery. I purchased a bed( with cash) under the impression that this item would be available for pickup on the agreed date. (My mom is traveling to Fredericksburg) I now have to put her in a hotel in which its costing more money, they're claiming it's store policy not to issue refunds. Ashley claim to have Happiness Guarantee policy. Again I never received my furniture and I have to wait until next month to receive my money. I wouldn't recommend Ashley furniture store especially in Fredericksburg to anyone! BC

Update to my review: I’m really quite frustrated that I had to keep calling the location to figure out where my order was. Although the first portion of my delivery was fine- the second portion i had to keep calling. Apparently my order was sitting in the warehouse and Ashley had “attempted to call me” but it was the wrong number, which doesn’t make sense since they had the right number for the first delivery. They told me I can pick up my order as it is ready- but i had paid for delivery! Now instead of trying to make things right- they’re making me wait an additional 5 days for delivery that I paid for. If i had not called in today, my order would’ve been sitting there for another week! And it wasn’t a large order or anything- but just a twin mattress. Disappointed with the customer service i received and will think again before purchasing something from this location. Eddie French did an amazing job! We came in for a patio set and ended up buying a mattress. He was very professional, honest, and gave us a great deal. Thanks again Eddie!

Neil was great! He was not pushy with me, let me ask questions and when I walked away he let me. I ended up walking back and he was kind and patient while I crunched numbers. His great sense of humor was much appreciated. He did all that while training a new person. Thank you Neil.

Customer service is unmatched at the Ashley Outlet at 9721 Patriot Highway in Fredericksburg. Upon walking into the store my husband and I were greeted warmly. I told the rep that we were specifically looking for dining room furniture. He directed us in that direction. After a few minutes of browsing, the manager introduced himself to us and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We replied “No” that we wanted to see what they had and go from there. He understood and gave us time and space to look by ourselves. As most of us know shopping can be an overwhelming experience. We found two sets that we liked that fit our budget and our dining spaces. The manager even complimented us on our choices. Look no further than Ashley’s Outlet Furniture in Fredericksburg for all your furniture needs.
