We came in knowing what we liked and Jay showed us the options and deals and listened to the things we liked about the different couches. Leading us to find a couch that worked best for us.

Jay was great. Helped us find the couch and configuration without any hassle. He addressed all of our concerns thoughtfully and we appreciated his patience as we decided over a few weeks for the best setup.

The sales associate was wonderful. I ordered a couch. They said it would be 2 to 6 weeks. It was in stock and available. I’ve not heard anything. I’ve called in there. I spoke to a woman who seemed bothered by me. Calling still have heard nothing so I called back to inquire about Canceling my order and just going to Wayfair and ordering a couch. She informed me that there’s a 20% restocking fee associated with an item that’s in stock that I have yet to even take possession of absolutely shady business practices think twice before purchasing here.

We had never been to Ashley before but I’m so glad we made the choice to go there. We were immediately greeted by Jay who helped us in every way possible. He wasn’t pushy in the slightest, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Jay was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through a wide range of options, making sure we understood the features, styles, and pricing of each. He took the time to break down all of the numbers and helped us explore multiple different financing options. His approach was thoughtful, professional, and kind. The sales people are great. The delivery people not so much. Don't count on your furniture showing up on the delivery date they give you. This is my second purchase from them and both times they screwed up my delivery. The first time, they put my furniture on the wrong truck. This time they rescheduled my delivery because of bad weather on another day. instead of only rescheduling the people who's deliveries were on the bad weather day, they push everyone back! Doesn't make sense to move all the deliveries when you can just move the ones that were missed. A crappy way to treat your customers. I won't be purchasing from Ashley again. I'll stick with Schewel's. I've never had an issue with them.

Fantastic experience with Will from Ashley in Harrisonburg! I had ordered a bedroom set online from Ashley and had a terrible experience and thought hope was lost but after talking with Will, he got everything ordered correctly, quickly, and even saved me money! My only regret is I didn’t visit Will first! So don’t order online go see Will, he’s the best!!!

The salespeople here are friendly and they don't hover over your shoulder the entire time you're browsing, like they do at other stores. Terrible place to buy furniture. Not the Harrisonburg location but Ashley store in general. I purchased eight chairs and a table that cost $2,000. The chairs came in within a week. It's been almost a month and I'm still waiting on the table. Pitiful service

I hate having to do this…because our experience in store was fantastic. We bought a couch/chair set a little over a year ago. We purchased the insurance on the couch and unfortunately the couch has already broken. The frame has broken and the insurance company that ashley uses has been terrible. I am home on maternity leave with a newborn and cannot sit on the couch. This process is ongoing and has been for over 5 weeks now. As much as I enjoyed the experience in store, I will not purchase from Ashley anymore due to the representation the insurance company is giving them.

We came back the next day with only 30 minutes to closing time. Fabric material is terrible for the amount of money I paid. Terrible customer service outside of local store. Loveseat was delivered damaged which was not obvious at first. Once noticed reached out and was given an email to contact. From that point customer service was terrible. Lack of communication, lots of miscommunication amongst customer service reps. Was offered an exchange to be delivered in a week and still waiting 3 weeks later. Got to a point where I asked for a refund due to such terrible service. I was denied a refund and offered to accept the exchange or keep the broken loveseat with a $200 discount. Will never shop with Ashley again. Beware if you have any issues once purchasing an item

We went into the Ashley store late in the day last week to replace a mattress under warranty (manager Alex has been very good to work with on this issue). Sales associate Will was a tremendous help during our visit. He assisted us with our mattress selection, but wasn’t aggressive in trying to push the sale just to get one done. This made us feel comfortable to browse for bedroom sets while we were there and we ended up going ahead and purchasing bedroom furniture too as a result. We appreciated Will’s helpful attitude without hovering or being pushy. We would be happy to work with him again for future needs.

Bought furniture from Ashley's furniture in Harrisonburg Sept 5. Supposed to be in in 10 days. Month and a half and plenty of phone calls later it finally came in. Scheduled 3 different times for delivery and haven't gotten it yet. Each time they call and give the excuse of, "we don't have a driver or truck". Next time it does not appear on scheduled date someone better be knocking on my door with a refund check. Never again will this place be visited for any reason. I"ll buy elsewhere.

At your Harrisonburg Virginia store Alex and Carrie have been absolutely a joy to work with. Alex has been so patient helping us find as close as possible what we have been looking for. Not one time have we felt that we are being rushed or to have something pushed on us that wasn’t quite up to what we are looking for. My mother in law is looking for a soda and she has had a very difficult time deciding exactly what color she wants and there again Alex has been very patient and polite with her in trying to find what she wants. Our sofa and love seat were delivered by 2 black gentlemen. They were very polite and courteous. Took exceptional care in getting them through the front door and then setting them up. I’m sorry I cannot remember their names but one of the guys was very tall. A job very well done. Angelo and another gentleman delivered our dresser. I recommend Ashley furniture In Harrisonburg 100%... the furniture is beautiful and the service is even better. I ordered my furniture in June, thinking in the house that I suppose to move in August. But finally I was not able to move there and I had to change my order because the new house was very differentwith different size and different spaces.... Alex (the manager) and Greg ( the sales representative) were more than great helping me to made the changes in August.Finally I got the fist pieces of furniture just when I moved in to the house,, and it was beautiful... for the other pieces,, I knew that I had to wait a little longer... but I was informed almost every week how long it takes...and every change of the schedule... In the last minute, before receiving the other part of my furniture, I had to change AGAIN my order because I had other expenses and I had to prioritize some of my wishes for the more needed in home, and again Alex help me with every detail, he saved me the money that I suppose to pay for the restocking fee, and bring to me the option to get the furniture that I needed more... He was great... When the furniture for my dinning room, living room and home office arrived, I was just extremely happy about doing business with this guys... Everything looks so beautiful, my family love it, my visits love it, and I feel very satisfied with all the process... even the guys who delivered and assembled the furniture were incredible polite, respectful and very kind with my baby who never stopped asking them questions about how to assembled it... I received my furniture finally after almost 6months. The stools that came with my dining table were already stripped so putting pieces together the screws just fall out. The bunkbeds I bought were poorly put together and a hole was in it already so when we put pieces together there is a perfect circle hole in the front of the bed. I will never purchase from here again. The quality of the furniture I am very dissatisfied with. There is no REAL WAY to contact anyone about this either.

Ordered $8 grand in furniture around August, bed and 2 nightstands delivered about a month after purchase. Rest of furniture arrived In October, .... due to Covid... dresser was cracked! Waited until January for new dresser, it was worse!! 2 weeks later got a dresser that was not broken. But now.... my bed creaks and makes noises. I look underneath and a leg is bent and coming away from the base. They send out a tech. He said the threading was not working properly and 3 other legs were loose. REALLY?! I call Ashley furniture because of course THEY have not reached out to me.... I’m told I have to call the manufacturer because it’s a FRAME issue and they don’t deal with that. Soooooo now I have to do the work even though THEIR people installed the bed. They had ZERO INTEGRITY when they put my bed together. The ASHLEY FURNITURE installers could have reported the issue then and DID not. Shame on them. I called temperpudic and there is a 1 1/2 hour wait time. I call BS on the whole thing. I would love the delivery fee refund. It’s the LEAST they could do! They did send me a $75 voucher to use in the store... really? No. I asked they apply that to my bill. They did. Customer service is not good as there has been ZERO follow up by anybody at ASHLEY, I have to continuously call them. The girl that sold us the furniture was great. But be prepared to go through hoops if anything is wrong. Ashley Furniture is not taking responsibility for their installers actions. 4 stars for the girl who sold us the furniture, 1/2 star for customer service

I ordered what appeared to be a beautiful shoe rack. It arrived and did not match the description. It was cheap, flimsy plastic. Their return department is horrible. Return shipping is 100% on the customer, the customer must package, pay for, and provide a tracking number to the warehouse for a possibility of a redund. They will not allow returns of online products at their brick and mortar location. I could've found a higher quality product and better customer service elsewhere. I will no longer be a customer. I am about to purchase living room furniture and will do so at Grand Home Furnishings who has a reputation for quality products and excellent customer service.

I have a hard a horrible experience with this company since I bought my bedroom set. When they came to set it up, they set up the bed incorrectly. Then our mattress, from them, never shaped right due to being placed in the truck incorrectly. We have had our stuff a little over a year and decided to move. The guys who set up the bed broke the screws a little bit, without me knowing, so we had to brake the frame a lot. I was told the factory warranty had ran out so there was nothing they could do about it, even though their "professionals" broke it in the first place.

This company is absolutely terrible. This review is about the entire organization not specifically this store since my order was online and I cannot find where to post a review about online orders. I ordered a complete bedroom furniture set at the beginning of May that said 6-8 weeks for delivery (long but acceptable during a pandemic), and received my confirmation number. 8 weeks go by without even a follow up by the company, so I try to call to find out what is happening. After multiple calls over multiple days it was clear no one from their call center was ever going to answer or return my messages. I finally get someone on their online chat to answer me and they tell me the items are delayed longer than expected and give me a date that they will be in stock. That day comes and goes, no message from Ashley. I contact them online again and this time get an expected shipment date (not delivery) another 2 weeks out. Then not 3 days later they cancel the entire order and think it will make it okay to send a 20 percent coupon. I have never had a worse experience with any store and after dealing with this horrendous customer service I will not be buying from Ashley again and I hope that others will avoid doing business with them as well.

Plenty of parking, easy access into shopping strip, but you can only turn right when exiting onto street. Near lots of good stores and across the street from a mall. No salesman following us around. We made our purchases easily and went out to lunch to cry over our now low bank account (as I bought decor items I hadn't budgeted for). Nice experience. Good range of prices for different budgets.

I just wanted to express how disappointed I am after ordering from Ashley and I haven't even received my furniture yet. I purchased a bedroom set on 6/7/2020 and was told by their sales rep that it would be delivered by the end of July. I moved into my new house in the beginning of July and thought it won't be so bad, it'll be worth it because I found the perfect bedroom set after looking all day. Well I called mid July and asked if there was an exact date they had yet for when it would be delivered and I was told not an exact date but I was reassured that it would be end of July. Well the last week of July rolls around, still no word about my furniture, I call and I am told Mid August. Well that's not what I was told in the beginning but I understand I was told it could take up to 10 weeks and COVID and what not but I still don't know why I was told July TWICE. Well it is now 8/18 and it has been 10 weeks and still not one word about my furniture. I've been sleeping on an air mattress for the past two months and I'm starting to get very annoyed. I would have just ordered off of Wayfair or Amazon if I knew this would have been the case. I won’t be ordering from Ashley again.

Alex could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. We met him while he was working in the Waynesboro store. We really just stopped in to browse. Before it was all over, we purchased 3 bar stools and then headed to his Harrisonburg store to look at an outdoor furniture set that he thought would be perfect for our needs. Had he not taken the time to engage us we would have never known there was another option. We now also own a lovely outdoor patio set. Alex is a delightful young man who understands customer service better than most. Customer service and interpersonal skills are quickly becoming a lost art. It made our day to see it was still alive and well at Ashley! We will be back.

COVID-19 caused a lot of chaos for many furniture stores regarding delivery for many customers. I know the teams at Ashleys furniture have taken on a lot of the brunt of upset customers do to it. Alex - the store manager from Harrisonburg - was a huge help to me during my troubles and was willing and DID help me want to stay shopping with the company after having some delays of my own furniture. Alex's help, kindness, and assistance was the only thing that completely changed my outlook on Ashleys. It really is a great place to shop, their prices are reasonable, and the extent of the assistance he gave me to solve my issue's is why I will stay shopping at Ashley's and send customers there. I would strongly suggest you not shop at Ashley in Harrisonburg. I brought a recliner several months ago. It stopped working after only 3 months of use. When I called, I was told there was no warranty. After contacting their headquarters, I was finally told I would receive the new motor by mail but I had to install myself. When the package arrived, it was a cord only. Now the manager refuses to talk to me personally and I was told I may have to wait 6 weeks for the service center. I have not heard from them in weeks and even their headquarters will not return my calls or emails. Stay away from this store.

I highly recommend the HARRISONBURG store, I was having major issues with the Staunton store couldn’t even get their manager Maggie to speak to me on the phone. I’ve been waiting on a bed frame since February and the staunton store didn’t bother to call me to tell me it had arrived, long story short I had to end up going to Verizon and printing my phone records to prove they never called me because keisha the associate argued with me for two days that they did. I was seeking some sort of reconciliation and they were unable to provide it. I called the Harrisonburg store and asked to speak to a manager within 5 minutes Alex called me back heard my story and within 15 he had it solved my bed will be delivered within a few days. Which is all I wanted. If you ever need help with anything call Alex!!!

Here's a little story that happened to me at our Harrisonburg, VA Ashley Furniture Store. "Policies and customer service are extremely poor. They will greet you and make you feel very important when you first walk in and start shopping around. However, once you buy, and you receive your purchase, they will do anything and everything to make sure it never gets returned no matter the situation. We purchased some reclining furniture from Ashley Homestore here in Harrisonburg, VA. Once we received the furniture, we noticed a very unsafe hazard when the furniture is fulling reclined. A large gap appears that our small toddler's lower bodies could fit into. This creates a dangerous pinch point if we are not around and our toddlers decide to play around with the sofa and love seat. We know several people with reclining furniture and we found out that they don't have a gap at all. Some even have a strong fabric to cover it. This gap wasn't even a thought in our minds at the store because we've never owned furniture like this. It was never brought to our attention by any employees. Had we seen this in stores, we wouldn't have purchased. It's too large of a pinch point with little ones running around our home. However, after days on phone calls and explanations, and even us offering to pay a restocking fee, Ashley's will only offer us the following deals. Deal 1: Stick with the furniture you have and deal with it. Deal 2: Purchase something else at equal or greater value and they will then return the furniture. Problem with deal 2 is that there is nothing in that store we want." People, please be careful at this store. They will get you.

Ordered a piece that would take 6 weeks to get in. When it arrived to the warehouse it was damaged (minimally). We had the option to keep the damaged piece or wait for another one. By the time the manager got back to me as to whether or not we would get a partial refund for the damaged piece (about 4 weeks later and a frustrated phone call from me) we were told the damaged piece was now unsalvageable, as it had been damaged further. We could be refunded or have a new one ordered that could take 8 weeks for arrival. I decided to wait for another. It arrived earlier than the projected 8 weeks and the 2 delivery drivers (I wish I remembered their names for recognition) were extremely pleasant (despite working in the midst of a pandemic) and worked very efficiently! What started out as a frustrating situation was made right by good customer service.

Anyone looking for a great customer service experience presented by knowledgeable staff this is your place. Had the pleasure of working with Diante and Alex and I would highly recommend them!

Walked right in this afternoon to look at dining tables and ended up leaving with one! Alex was a great help, absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to buy some furniture that needs help deciding with regards to certain factors.

Terrible experience, lie about everything and don't update you if your furniture is not in stock 8 weeks later. They just expect you to wait another 2 months for it to "maybe " be in stock. Never buying furniture here again ! Waited for 2 months just to find out it's out of stock and no one bothers to update you about it. Also they're quick to take your cash but when it comes to refunding money for not keeping their end of the bargain you have to wait 2 weeks for the check to come in. No apology nothing insane customer service!!

Returned to Ashley looking for a specific love seat- found what I was looking for only better & they made it all so easy .Salesman was personable but not pushy. I just wish I didnt have to wait for delivery but that's ok .Saw a lot of things I really liked -will be going back .

I had purchased a mattress that had a defect in it. All it took was a phone call and Alex the store manager was on it. He got it fixed and a new mattress on the way to me. This store is amazing with great people and great management. I hope for Ashley that Alex stays around for a long time. He is someone I love doing business with. He not only makes you feel like a friend, but he also makes you feel like your more then just his job. In one word he is AMAZING!!!! I ordered a bed 7 weeks ago suppose to be delivered This evening past Saturday after being very Persistent never happened , than was told it’s been pushed back to after Christmas , ask for my money back will take 10 days . I went directly to a competitor in less than a week be delivered.

CJ was helfpul and knowledgeable when we needed his assistance but respectful of our space as we looked around. When there was an honest mixup with the delivery the manager, Alex, was extremely considerate and understanding of our situation. Some of the best customer service I've ever gotten.

The manager of the ashley store in harrisonburg is honestly one of the most professional and pleasant people I have ever worked with. After receiving our couch I hated it. He allowed us to exchange it with no problems. Would highly recommend CJ as a sales associate as well. Very professional and helpful. He also didnt hover which is one of my biggest pet peeves. All in all I would recommend them and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

This is our third time purchasing from Ashely furniture and our second time from the Harrisonburg location. We had a great experience this past time with a very nice salesman Alex. We were told that delivery time was about 6 weeks and they called right at the 6 week mark to schedule delivery. The night before our delivery date they called to say they would deliver between 2pm-5pm so I waited, well at 5:15 I get a call that they are about an hour behind, Okay that’s cool I know things happen but that started having me worry some and hour later still no delivery. They finally showed up at 8pm to deliver, I was upset at how late it ended up being but the guys were very nice, super efficient and apologetic so that made up for the late time. I will definitely go back for future purchases.

Me and my husband bought our very first bedroom set .....oh boy we went through so much stress with it :( looks very nice but the quality big No-No 😒 . Once you buy it you cannot exchange or return ! Of course that's how they make their money right 🤪 we should of went to Grand furniture store from the moment you walk into their store they even open the door for you and offer you a drink. I went few times to Ashley furniture store with my baby and a stroller, they would be standing few steps away from the door but won't even help you and if you leave without purchasing anything they won't even say thank you or goodbye.

Furniture is nice but Too Expensive for my Taste as I browsed through their Store. Not Very Busy here in Harrisonburg Virginia as other Locations such as Fredericksburg and the larger Cities I have visited.

Didn't like the employee following all around the store even when we told him we were just looking around, every 3 minutes he was interrupting my conversation with my husband. i came into ashley’s with no idea what i wanted, mostly just an idea. i was greeted by rhiannon and she was nothing short of the perfect person to meet me. she told me she had just started and i couldn’t even tell. we even had the same style interest. the rest of the staff was really great. her manager, alex, came by and made sure that i was happy and that everything was going well. i ended up buying the tripton upholstered bench. it was perfect for my foyer. if you wanna go, ask for Rhi or Alex!

Buyer beware. Poor customer service. My brother and I purchased over $4k worth of furniture on the same day. When we picked it up at the warehouse I found that a bracket on one of the back pieces of my sofa was bent at a 90 degree angle. The store manager was contacted about the issue. He stated because we didn't pay the additional $150 each for "white glove shipping" option that he was limited on options. After waiting 3 hours at the warehouse he gave me the option to pay a discounted amount of $75 to get a new sofa shipped to my house, make another 2+ hour round trip to the warehouse the next day for a new one or to get a $75 as is credit. The warehouse help attempted to straighten the bracket out. After mentioning that I didn't know how it made sense to lose future business over $75 shipping cost, his response referred back to the fact that we didn't pay for the additional shipping. Note: the day before pickup I found the exact same set at Coleman Furniture for $400 cheaper/free shipping.

First off I was very surprised to see so many positive reviews mentioning Tiffany by name. Also highly suspicious that a lot of the positive reviews are made by people who have never reviewed anything else. It makes you wonder how many of those reviews are from Tiffany herself on dummy accounts she created. Anyway, regarding my experience: What a scam. We purchased a "Durablend" leather couch 5-years ago and was talked into their Montage Protection Plan. The gist of the deal was that it would cover any damage to the couch over a 5 year period. If we didn't use it within the years we would get our money back in the form of a merchandise credit of $100. Well, within the first year the fake leather began bubbling and peeling, flaking off the couch. We called and was told it wasn't covered because our warranty only covered damage when it's a cut that goes down to the stuffing. We were upset but ok. After 4 years we finally just went to another store and purchased another couch. After the 5 years I went back to Ashley to get my credit and was told I had to wait another month. I came back today and was told that the credit was only on a purchase of $1000 or more. They were very adamant they told me this a month ago and were quite rude. I left very upset. I would never buy anything else from them. Their stuff is WAY overpriced compared to other stores and their financing is a joke as the interest rates are very high. Shameful.

Bought a mattress and boxsprings new for over $1,000. They delivered a used mattress not covered in plastic, dirty and ripped. I told them to take it back. I went into the store and and told them I wanted my money back. They told me OK but they kept $300.they said it was a restocking fee. It should not cost me any money to restock what I did not order/buy.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had with any company when trying to correct their continual errors. Recently moved into a new home and shopped at Ashley in Manassas, VA for a new bed frame and sectional. This location sold me a headboard and insured me I did not need the rest of the bed frame to instal. At the time this was the only item we were getting and was told their would be a three week waiting period for delivery and a standard $140 charge for delivering the piece. We opted to drive the three hours both way to pick up the headboard ourselves. Once we got it home and opened the box we learned that you do in fact need the remaining pieces to the bed frame. Even though the bed frame is sold separately and I was ensured by the store the headboard did not need the set in order to be installed properly. I spent over an hour on hold waiting for the distribution center to get back to me. Finally I drove to the store where the only suggestion they had for me was to buy the rest of the bed and have it delivered. I went online myself to look up the parts I needed and told them how if I could just buy the legs separately, I wouldn’t need anything else. The room is small and I did not want an enclosed bed with a foot board. They finally send an email request for those parts and told me I’d hear back by that Tuesday. I still have yet to hear back. And every time I have called I have been told they will call me back. We decided to give it another go and ordered a sectional from them. At the store our delivery date was the following Friday. Which was perfect because we were leaving the day after. We called the Wednesday prior and ensured everything was good to go. We were told it would be delivered Saturday. I explained how we would not be home and was told Friday. They had a manager call us back who apologized and said he pulled some strings and our order was all set to come Friday between 1-5pm. Awesome. So I didn’t take off work for nothing! I called the morning of just to ensure everything was good to go. Yup. They said we will get a call when they’re about an hour out and will still be there between 1-5. It got to be five thirty and still no couch. I call again and this time I’m told there’s no record of my couch even being on the truck and it hasn’t even been scheduled for delivery. The soonest they could get it to us is next Tuesday. Unhappy to say the least. Still do not have all the pieces to my bed and now I am without a couch for another week and a half. Of course, the store can do absolutely nothing for us for wasting so much of our time.

Purchased a mattress and box springs and it was 6 weeks before it was delivered. Eventually, on the scheduled day of delivery, between 2-5 pm on a Saturday, it arrived at 5:45 pm. This was our first and last purchase.

Horrible delivery service. I've waited 4 weeks for my delivery. They attempted to deliver last week, but didn't bring the correct truck. So, we rescheduled for today. My delivery window was 10a - 12p. It's now 12:20p and the warehouse refuses to give me an estimated time of arrival. And, I'm now going to be late for work. I spent over $3,000 for this furniture and was so excited to receive it. You all have made this the worst furniture buying experience I've had. I will never purchase from this company again, and if I hadn't signed a contract saying I was going to be charged a 20% restocking fee if I canceled the order, I would've by now.

Not very good place for small furniture

This is by far the worst company we have ever purchased furniture from. It all started with what we thought was really good furniture. We were willing to pay the really high price per piece $1100 for a couch $1100 for a loveseat. But soon after the couch and loveseat started coming unraveled. We purchased montage furniture insurance because it was recommended by the sales person and he said of how greatly they cover any issue you have. When we called montage they said that it was normal wear and tear and refused to correct the issues even though we appealed their decision. When I contacted the The local home store in Harrisonburg after montage would not make this right, the sales person contacted the manager and the manager refused to do anything. We contacted corporate office in Wisconsin and they refused to do anything. Never buy from this company! All they care about is $$$, not the customer. Expensive furniture and they don't stand behind their work. Very poor quality, very poor workmanship. Never again will I buy from Ashley furniture.

Our experience with Ashley started in June. We purchased one of the Ashley Brand mattresses. When the mattress was delivered it was terrible. I called the manager the next morning, and we went back to the store. At that point, we thought the mattress was defective or a there was a problem with the manufacturer, so we paid more and purchased a Sterns and Foster. Ashley delivered the new mattress, which I saw had a problem when they got it into the bedroom. When they laid it against the wall, the mattress actually had a sharp bend approx 1/4 - 1/3 up from the floor. I had reservations about accepting it, but the Ashley mattress had to go! After only a short time the mattress got more uncomfortable by the day. Again, talked with the manager; he had someone from the warehouse come to our home to see what the problem was. In short order, the man from the warehouse agreed there was a problem; he could see where the mattress had been bent in at least two places. So arrangements were made to exchange the mattress. The second mattress from Sterns and Foster was delivered. This time I could only see the end of the mattress because they propped it up against another wall. However, I could see the corner bending, and was being torqued while they were trying to get the plastic off. Again, I accepted the new one, with reservations. I thought if it was just the corner, it might work. I was wrong. This time when I called Ashley, the manager himself, said he would come out and check the mattress. It took him less than 10 seconds to see the problem. The top of the mattress was almost 1" to the right of the bottom of the mattress, the entire top of the mattress was sliding over. Again, went to store. We wanted a refund, but the manager talked us into trying an I-Comfort. I made it very clear that I would only agree to try it if there would be no problem returning it and getting a refund at that point, if I could not use the mattress. (I had tried out a Tempurpedic in the past, and it did not work at all.) Paid more money to get I-Comfort. After two weeks I called to speak with the manager, and was told he was no longer at the store. New "manager" said I-Comfort REQUIRED that we keep the mattress a minimum of 30 days. Did my best to live with it for the 30 days. I could only lay in the bed for 2-4 hours at a time. At the end of the required time, I contacted the manager again, and she said they would not refund money; that we would have to buy a different level of I-Comfort of the same or MORE value. Of course, this means we would have had to pay more money. I told her and the next level of management that we had only agreed to try the I-Comfort with the understanding we would not get stuck with it. We went back and forward with the "managers" and finally, the last week of December, they agreed to refund our money. Bottom line, if you want any level of professional advice about mattresses, or mattresses that will be delivered to your home in the manner they should be in, deal with another store. We firmly feel that all four mattresses had been damaged during the delivery process, and I had to endure the pain of dealing with the damaged mattresses for over six months. I don't know if my back will ever recuperate from the ordeal. Again, be forewarned, go to experts, NOT Ashley.

Great service, great prices, great living room furniture! Glad we went to Ashley and had a great experience buying furniture with Jason. We had a budget and, thankfully, they were willing to work with us to make sure we got what we really wanted for our living room.

Beware!! They're selling poor furniture, and not doing anything about it even though it's under warranty. Be especially careful with their sales manager - Shahe, a real snake in the grass!
