Customer service is horrible. Bought a recliner in May it was damaged. It took weeks to have someone come out to confirm. They were sending me a new one but it was damaged as well. The store manager said come in and they would give me a credit or refund. By this point I said just give me a refund. He said I’ll have to check with my supervisor. I said when will you get back to me since they promised twice to call me back and didn’t. He said I don’t know, whenever I hear from him……I actually bought other items but never again. Beware, The manager is a double talker…

This was the worst buying experience I've ever had. They ask you to write a review before you even get the furniture (so don't believe all the 5 star reviews)and then you have to constantly call them for updates when your furniture which you've paid thousands of dollars for hasn't arrived when they said. I will never step foot in another Ashley nor recommend them to anyone!

I was not happy with my experience with this store. Cory came off as a great guy when we came in got everything we needed. So of course when he wanted us to rate him we gave him 5 stars. We just bought house told us if somethings came in he would call so we could get some type of furniture in the house. Told us it would take 2 to 3 weeks. 2 and half weeks later we called them to see what was going on they said it would be 4 weeks. It would have been nice if someone would have called to tell us that. Then they tell us our rug would b another week ok cool. A week goes by and guess what WE had to call them to see where the rug is. Their like oh we can deliver it tomorrow was you going to call and tell us cause we do have jobs also. Luckily I could use my lunch break to get the rug. To say all this if you don't mind being lied to and having no communication to what's going on be my guest and go here but if you want better go SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I hate this store, but my wife loves it. It's a mixed bag. Update: Do not, really don't buy anything from Ashley. We bought 20k worth the furniture, and every single piece of furniture arrived broken or damaged. Two months later , we had only one broken side table replaced, and the other side table delivered was the wrong one. 4 deliveries, 5 with the initial one, and we only have one good couch, one good recliner, and one good side table and kitchen table. We order 2 entire bedroom sets, including beds, dressers, and headboards, all of which are broken. 2 freaking months, and they send out damaged furniture expected to just accept damaged furniture for new prices. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPKE THEIR COMPANY IS A JOKE AND AT THIS POINT A SCAM.

Went in to buy a couch yesterday and waited/ walked around for 30 minutes and couldn’t find any staff. Finally, after the 30 minutes, someone sat down at the desk, ignored us completely, and started brushing their hair. We left a minute later.

Came into Ashely to look at a sectional sofa with a hideaway bed. We met Lee. He was very helpful. He answered all of our questions. We left with an idea of what we really wanted. We went to another furniture store down the street. They didn’t have what we wanted and their staff just pointed us in the direction of where the two sectionals where. We left. We talked about how we liked the options at Ashley and especially how helpful Lee was. We returned today to Ashley. Lee was there and was so helpful. We and Lee, double and triple checked to make sure were ordering what we wanted. We also decided to buy the matching recliner. Forgive me that I don’t remember her name, but the lady that did the paperwork and cashed us out was great. She explained to me about how the delivery will go and she too double checked what we were ordering. Zero stars needed. Went in to buy a chest dresser on the website priced at $199. The website actually states "see this item at lynchburg store". The store is like a used car dealership. Salesman literally said "I could let it go for $199 but Im not going to because "they" will charge you a $200 fee for delivery online." Then proceeds to say he will charge $299. Anybody who walks in the lynchburg store is getting ripped off.

We went in already knowing what couch we wanted to purchase. The online Ashley price was $3699. Online also had 12 month interest free financing. In store it was listed for $4899. In store financing was 60 month interest free financing. We asked if they could match the price. They could but would need a down payment which was not required online. When I asked about a longer term financing the sales person and manager did the routine where I waited there while he went to the office to "sharpen our pencils and get you a good deal" They came back and said yes but would need a down payment and the price would be $4899. We left and went to the store on Broad St. in Richmond. They had the same couch at the same price as online. No matching needed. We had a fair and open negotiation on terms and there were no games played. Make the drive to the store in Richmond and avoid the Lynchburg store.

Hi guys, we were looking for a second couch--did all research, read reviews, and I have worked in furniture business for Kincaid and Broyhill. So when I started looking for couches or sofas-- everywhere seemed to have same brands and all the same colors. All roads in other stores led back to Ashley furniture. So when I entered the store, all employees were very friendly and great "greets". So I was refered to Cory Reyna who at the time, I did not know that he was store manager. Anyway, I was looking for something very unique in design and texture ! Cory put me right on one that was different and what we were looking for so price and delivery costs were the major issues from completing the purchase on first visit. So I continued to look-- other people at other furniture stores seemed not really interested in selling me a $750 couch--- again all roads led back to Ashley furniture and Mr. Reyna. So after completely discussing warranty and frame specifications-- it was done! Mr. Reyna worked with me on pricing! All employees and Mr. Reyna were very efficient and caring about meeting me in negotiations and hospitality! Mr. Reyna was a privilege to work with and to help me make my mind up! We are going back for a new dining table and odds and ends. I'm customer for life due to Mr. Reyna and his employees! Peace

Walking into Ashley all the staff met us at the door with a smile. Krislin was so very patient with us as we asked many questions. Her knowledge guided us to find the perfect mattress for us. We added the AWESOME cooling pillows and mattress cover to our purchase. Cory was helpful as well. Together they provided us with the best customer service experience. We cannot wait to purchase the rest of our furniture from them!!!!
