My purchase went very smoothly at the store and IN STORE service was 10/10, I love my new couch. My only issue was with delivery. The delivery men damaged my wall and Ashley home furniture did not respond to any of my 5 emails regarding this issue. Just know when getting a home delivery Ashley will not reimburse any damages made to your home and will ignore you.

I went to Ashley Furniture on Laburnum with my Mom to look at reclining chairs with automatic lift ability. Our salesman was new however, very helpful and friendly without being pushy. My Mom was prepared to purchase the recliner however the delivery charge was well over $200. We stated we’d rather pick it up ourselves and asked how long it would be before it would arrive at the Laburnum store. After checking with another salesperson he returned and told us that anything over 50 lbs does not get shipped to the store…we would have to drive to Fredericksburg to pick up our order! Despite our great salesman, he did not make the sale due to the company’s poor delivery options. Ashley Furniture does not provide a reasonable alternative for the consumer to get the furniture to their home unless the purchaser is willing to pay a high delivery fee or make the drive to Fredericksburg (neither of which is reasonable). Coincidentally, we found the same chair on Amazon for nearly $200 less and we have Prime…so free delivery. Do your homework folks…don’t be taken advantage of by greedy corporations.

Moved into a new apartment in December. ALL of my furniture came from Ashley's (kitchen set, living room furniture and end tables). Andre at the local store on Laburnum Avenue wad a BIG help. He didn't rush nor haggle me to make a purchase. All questions asked was answered, AND when I made my final purchase of my living room sofa and loves eat (Gleaston btw) he answered the same questions I had asked previously. Ashley's furniture AND prices are very fair and reasonable compared to other furniture stores. And currently they have free delivery in honor of opening a new store in Virginia.

We appreciate employees who offer helpful ideas, aren’t pushy and overbearing and can recognize when we need help and when we need a few minutes to ourselves to figure things out. I will say that the music in the store was entirely too loud. It was hard to hear each other and concentrate. But otherwise our experience was great.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BUYER BEWARE! I ordered Earhart couch and loveseat from Ashley online. Loveseat has missing T-nut and is leaning 7 months from purchase and 6 months from delivery date. They want me to pay them $75. to send a technician out to repair a defective piece of furniture. Please know you could be missing inside parts and if you know it within 6 months they want to charge you to fix their defective furniture they sold and delivered to you. I have a broken leaning piece of furniture 6 months after I received it, and they want me to pay them to fix their mistake.

We ordered our items on Sunday and was told that because the warehouse was closed Tuesday someone would call me Wednesday to schedule deliver for today the 14th. Well nobody called and when I called this morning the young lady advised that there was a delay on my items and NOW they won’t be there until tomorrow in which that will put our delivery into next week. Thank goodness we didn’t throw our daughter’s mattress and bed away like we had planned on. If I thought I could go somewhere else and get my items today I would. There was no offer to take money off or anything, I just have to hope and pray that they call tomorrow I guess.

Poor customer service. Representative didn't show willingness to assist. Kept passing me off to next person. Furniture delivered missing parts and still giving me the run around about getting them. Called multiple time place on hold for over 30 minutes and transferred without being informed called back and CSR hung up on me drive to the store to speak to someone in person and CSR Tammy was very unpleasant and didn't care to resolve any issue didn't even care to listen. I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would be with me shortly it's been 30 minutes already. How fair is that when I'm the customer what if it was them in my shoes and they were treated in a disgusting manner. And don't care if I have to sleep on the floor or not.

After weeks of trying to find the perfect couch for my new apartment, with no luck, Darius was able to help me find not only the perfect couch but also a much needed bed frame as well. He was extremely helpful and made my experience very smooth!

Unresponsive customer service. Very poor “white glove” delivery. My brand new couch and it’s cushions were put on my wet lawn. The couch was banged against the walls and they brought the wrong pieces. You have to go in store to get any response to complaints. Once you go in the store they tell you to call customer service. Not worth the money in my opinion.

This Ashley location truly values the customers time, as well as needs. We throughly enjoyed working with Jshuane. He took the time to make sure we chose the right mattress and pillows. He is very attentive to detail and knows the “ins and outs” of his job. That is truly valued and appreciated. Worst experience I have ever had purchasing furniture. I purchased a bed, platform, and two pillows in sept… expected to be delivered sept 15 to my new apartment. The bed and the platform made it to my home however, it’s been well over a month and still no pillows. I’ve spoken to multiple people at multiple stores and have yet to been able locate and pick up pillows that should have been DELIVERED! Every time I call they just transfer me to the next person or don’t answer all together. I’ve received a bill and plan on paying for merchandise I have yet to receive and do not know when I will. Was a five star review but changed to one star. Very disappointed in the level of customer service they provide after they take your money. I felt like the manager told me what I wanted to hear in order to get the sale and then when I call to complain they act like I’m lying and swear up and down that I’m making the whole thing up. The sales rep who happened to be a manager (Pam) told me that I could request a different delivery time because I told her about my concerns about no one being home during the day. When I get a notification about the delivery I told the guy what I was told and he said it would be $199 to reschedule. I called customer care and they pretty much told me that they don’t make promises like that to customers. I requested to speak to a manager twice and have not heard a word. I actually had to pay someone to sit at my house and wait for the delivery. Will not shop here ever again.

Went to Ashley to buy a new couch and came with very clear measurements of our space. Was talked into buying a couch even though I was concerned it would be too big for the room by the sales associate who assured us she had “years” of interior decorating experience. Was assured by her that it would not be too big. It arrived and is entirely too big for the room. The “white glove” delivery service was laughably bad. We were told all delivery people would wear booties to prevent tracking dirt into our home-they did not. They were opening the brand new couch on our front lawn!!!! Couch cushions were falling all over the dirt and wet grass. Delivery team seemed like they were just trying to move things as quickly as possible with zero care for our home and personal belongings. The couch was tossed around and bumped into walls and doorframes. They moved other furniture in our home without asking first- everything was completely haphazard the opposite of what I expected from “white glove delivery” . Once again, got pressured into accepting a replacement over the phone when I could barely understand- they couldn’t even tell me if the exchange would result in a refund or a change in price. Even with the proposed exchange the couch is entirely too large. Now we are being told we cannot be refunded the couch that completely does not fit in our home???? We simply do not want this couch. This whole situation is absurd. We would just like to return it and be refunded. Will NEVER shop at Ashley again. This was a huge purchase for us. Very expensive. The least we expected was better customer service since we are the paying customers who dropped THOUSANDS of dollars on this absurdity. I could not be more disappointed. Abysmal.

Purchase a bed cost a thousand dollars. Was told it was a 12 inch bed only expand to 10 inches in a 36 hour period. Was told the warranty was voided because we moved it from our house to another. Salesman was explained on what we were doing. Was told to take pictures and we did, but since we moved the bed we would have to pay 75 dollars to get a tech to look at it. Worst place to go to.

What an unprofessional, incredibly difficult experience. My boyfriend and I ordered a sectional from here. Our delivery date was pushed back twice. Then the day before our new delivery date, we were told that Ashley made a mistake on the pricing of our sectional, and needed us to agree to pay an additional $1,000 in order for our sectional to be delivered the next day. Who does that?!? Obviously we cancelled our order at this point because it was absolutely ridiculous. We have previously had a wonderful experience with Ashley, but this location is horrendous.

Bought a couch from Pam B. She was incredibly helpful. The best part is she wasn’t pushy like a lot of people on the sales floor. She was there to make light conversation and help in any way we needed.
