Went in to look for a new sofa. I always liken going into a furniture store to a car dealership. The sales person is right there, kind of in your face. I realize they work on commission, but I also like to look and check out products without someone hovering the whole time. Also despite the sofa we liked being on sale in the store, it is on sale at the Ashley website on line for almost $600 less. I doubt the physical store will come down that much in price. Considering we also wanted an ottoman to match plus the warranty, I can add all that to the order on line and have it total the price just for the sofa alone at the store. I am a senior person living on my social security and savings. I have to be very careful about my spending, so these little things mean a great deal to me. I appreciate the physical stores so I can sit, feel and try out the products, but it makes it hard to do when the issues I mentioned happen.

Change my rating and changed my mind after I figured out they have wonderful service and people to greet you to get a sale Tell you one thing and do another I purchased furniture on November the 14th here it is now December the 4th and still no furniture so I decided to go elsewhere to purchase furniture that delivered the next day and call and cancel my order well that was fine and dandy until I had to pay a restocking fee for furniture that I never received or for seeing coming in the near future then they proceeded to call to try to schedule a delivery date then just because I was scheduled a delivery date that the furniture was still in the warehouse and there would still be more wait time ridiculous customer services horrible as well I would not purchase from here whatever happened to good customer service store manager was unhelpful as well offered to give me different kind of furniture that still had to be delivered which was more wait time unbelievable

We went to Ashley’s in Roanoke today and from the moment we walked in we had a lovely man named Wilton great us and help us out the entire time. He even showed us pictures of him family which was so cute. On top of that we also had a lovely man named Darell making us laugh every time we walked past him. Worked with sales rep, JJ, to select a new bed. JJ was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the selection Ashley provided. JJ took the time to explain the current state of the art in bedding and we ultimately settled on a new Tempur-Pedic mattress and base. The irony is I went into the store trying to avoid the Tempur-Pedic because I didn't think I wanted a memory foam style mattress. JJ's deep knowledge of the product line and demonstration of the product line convinced us. After shopping a few other stores, we returned to Ashley to make the purchase. Ashley's pricing was the same as purchasing directly from the manufacturer, and their financing terms sealed the deal. Store manager, Matt, was very helpful in getting paperwork processed and the entire experience was a pleasure. I would recommend Ashley Furniture and JJ to anyone in search of new home decor and furnishings.

Loved the customer service and selection!! My only qualm was the music. I came in a few times while trying to decide on my selection but the music was a distraction. The same songs played and were honestly annoying. Please change it up. There is a such thing as TOO MUCH country music.

We paid a deposit on a bedroom set in August. We were told it would be ready in September. We paid the balance due in early September. We were told it would not be available until the end of October. I pushed back and got half the furniture in September. As of last week we were told the remainder would not arrive until November. None of this was by call from the company, we have repeatedly had to call ourselves to try to get updates. We paid in full for a product and have not received them. When we call we are always told someone will call us back and they never do. This is unacceptable all around. I will never purchase from them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Wow what an experience! Didn’t plan on buying anything when I came in, with how helpful Matt was and how the financing options worked out with our budget we managed to find the perfect couch we were looking for. Matt was a charismatic and very inviting host! 10/10 would recommend

Let me preface this by saying we purchased a couch less than three months ago. I left a one-star review of that couch on the Ashley Furniture website 12 days ago and it has never shown up and if I try to leave it again, they tell me they already have my review for it. I believe they are filtering at least some of the negative reviews of their products from appearing on site, so I decided to leave my review here. "We bought this couch (Coulee Point 2-Piece Sectional with Chaise - Item: 94401S1) less than three months ago and a board in the frame (back portion of the chaise, not seating) has already broken in two. No one jumps on the couch. No one plops down on the couch. No one does anything but lays sedentary scrolling on their phone on the couch. It is placed against the wall, so the breakage isn't from stress of anyone leaning against it. It's just poorly made. The material still looks great and vacuums very, very easily (great option if you have pets!), but for a $1600 couch, the idea of it not even lasting a year with gentle use before structurally breaking is absolutely absurd." All of this being said, dealing with this particular store location was easy, I never felt pressured to buy anything and when we decided to, the process was simple. I just don't think we'll be back based on the poor quality of the furniture and the fact that I feel the lower-star reviews for the products on-site aren't being posted, so you're unable to get an honest review of anything they sell.

We went to Ashleys to look at couches to see what size, fabric, and colors we liked...we were not ready to purchase that day. JJ was super understanding of this and still went out of her way to be helpful and informative. We learned alot about Ashleys couches and walked away more knowledgeable. We did unexpectedly buy a chair and JJ was fantastic. She helped us get the chair for a great price. We cannot thank JJ enough for being so easy to work with and helpful!

J.J. was friendly and able to work with us to get what we wanted during the purchasing process. Now that we have picked up the couch and have went through the whole process, I would caution future buyers. We were told the couch would come in multiple boxes and would be easily transportable after we explained our situation to J.J., so we did not pay for delivery. Upon picking up the couch, it was only in two LARGE pieces which made it damn near impossible to get into our home. Additionally, we were told during the purchase process, J.J. would personally call us herself that week to give us an update on the couch. We never received an update once from her or any Ashley team member. I had to check on delivery date and also call to confirm it arrived at the facility. I am not sure if I will be back after this experience.

Truly an amazing experience. Ian was superb at assisting me with everything on my list and then some. He made excellent suggestions, arranged for best pricing, and oversaw the whole process. Earlier that day I'd been at a competitors store and had the worst salesman ever who was unwilling and unhappy about answering questions, checking stock, etc. Ian was polar opposite, and the store was also a big upgrade in appearance. There is a great vibe at Ashley; bright, warm, happy, and you could tell that they care about their product's presentation.

Do NOT shop here. Save yourself some time and energy. I purchased furniture from here because I would be new to the area and moving here from another state. After making a deposit with the understanding my furniture will be guaranteed to me on December 2 this was not the case. I moved here from another state with no bed so having this delivered to me on time was important and I made the sales clerk who happens to be the owner aware of this. After making payment they reached out and said they could not make the delivery until December 9. I was willing to compromise and make due until then the day came for the delivery and I was home all day. I received messaging from Ashley until the point of actual delivery. My delivery window was between 4 PM and 6 PM. I received a message around 2 PM that my furniture would arrive early. I was home, so this was perfect 3 PM came and no one had still come. So I figured I would give it time until my actual delivery window 4 came And then 5 came And I decided to give the store a call. There response was that someone had come by I said I was here all day no one stopped by. I asked for proof of a phone call because no one called me. No one text again I had received messaging all day so it is my thought process that if you came and no one was there, it would have been a note left or I would’ve received messaging saying sorry we missed you or something, this goes to their lack of customer service. They only care about the sale. It took for me crying legit tears for the owner to make it happen with my furniture delivery the next day and come to find out the guys who “tried to deliver” the day before were just lazy and did not want to come to the 3rd floor. If you are thinking about it don’t do it. Shop somewhere else and save yourself the trouble. You will be left as the consumer spending money to a place that does not care about you or your need for the product.

Horrible first experience. I got a table set and entertainment center for my first apartment. Big mistake. I paid extra for assembly, extra for the "white glove" delivery. I received no white glove delivery. Long story short I was supposed to have my furniture and it assembled on 2/20, I just got the last piece of my entertainment center today. On 2/20 they told me they don't assemble entertainment centers, I call and deal with the store unfortunately, they have two people come out the next day to assemble, they break one of the parts of the entertainment center, today found out I also had screws missing to even put it completely together. I have to deal with the store again to have the other pier ordered. I call customer service about a week later to check on the status, because it's about impossible to get anyone on the phone to truly help you and managers are always "with a customer." First thing I'm told is, it should be in by the end of the week, I call at the end of the week, then somehow it's on back order till April. At this point I've lost all my patience with how I've been treated as a first time customer and with the absolute lack of customer service I've received. No one has ever called me for any issues, no one has ever offered any refunds or credits for the many issues. I have had to call the store repeatedly just for simple updates or to check on anything. After being told about back order, I ask why I'm being told two different things, I then get asked who I spoke to, which I did not remember but it was the same store the same department soo. Not until I had to actually go into the store myself to hanlde anything did I get told by "management" that they had the piece in stock that it should go to me and that management meant to call me back, sure. Fast forward to the new delivery date of today, again this was supposed to all be taken care of on 2/20 after I waited over a month for my delivery. They show me the piece and how the glass is supposed to be inside the pier, that the whole thing would have to be taken apart for that to be in correctly. At this point I just want my furniture I am owed and I will fix whatever else that is STILL NOT CORRECT. They bring it in, then I find out that they have no screws, I have no screws where the bridge is supposed to connect two piers to my entertainment center. I can only assume it got thrown out the last time people were here to assemble the entertainment center the first time. Greatttt. So I now FINALLY have my furniture that I so stupidly paid all the extra things for and NEVER received any apologies or compensation for my issues since 2/20. I'll say that again, since 2/20. It's absolutely ridiculous what I've gone through and the nonsense I've had to deal with from this store and it's staff and management. I will NEVER be back, I will NEVER refer this store. Thank god I just finally have all my furniture I paid lots of money for BUT you know, I'll have to actually finish putting it all actually together. Because over $2,000 is just not enough to have what you were supposed to have to begin with and have waited 2 MONTHS for...... do not shop here. From start to finish, disappointed and used as a customer. Lots of lies.....
