The Ashley Store in Roanoke, specifically the salesman Wilson, is dishonest. The would not honor their website pricing nor price match their partner vendors selling the same products for half the price. They have lost my business permanently. I can't imagine how many people they are ripping off by lying to them!

Went in to look for a new sofa. I always liken going into a furniture store to a car dealership. The sales person is right there, kind of in your face. I realize they work on commission, but I also like to look and check out products without someone hovering the whole time. Also despite the sofa we liked being on sale in the store, it is on sale at the Ashley website on line for almost $600 less. I doubt the physical store will come down that much in price. Considering we also wanted an ottoman to match plus the warranty, I can add all that to the order on line and have it total the price just for the sofa alone at the store. I am a senior person living on my social security and savings. I have to be very careful about my spending, so these little things mean a great deal to me. I appreciate the physical stores so I can sit, feel and try out the products, but it makes it hard to do when the issues I mentioned happen.

Change my rating and changed my mind after I figured out they have wonderful service and people to greet you to get a sale Tell you one thing and do another I purchased furniture on November the 14th here it is now December the 4th and still no furniture so I decided to go elsewhere to purchase furniture that delivered the next day and call and cancel my order well that was fine and dandy until I had to pay a restocking fee for furniture that I never received or for seeing coming in the near future then they proceeded to call to try to schedule a delivery date then just because I was scheduled a delivery date that the furniture was still in the warehouse and there would still be more wait time ridiculous customer services horrible as well I would not purchase from here whatever happened to good customer service store manager was unhelpful as well offered to give me different kind of furniture that still had to be delivered which was more wait time unbelievable

Worked with sales rep, JJ, to select a new bed. JJ was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the selection Ashley provided. JJ took the time to explain the current state of the art in bedding and we ultimately settled on a new Tempur-Pedic mattress and base. The irony is I went into the store trying to avoid the Tempur-Pedic because I didn't think I wanted a memory foam style mattress. JJ's deep knowledge of the product line and demonstration of the product line convinced us. After shopping a few other stores, we returned to Ashley to make the purchase. Ashley's pricing was the same as purchasing directly from the manufacturer, and their financing terms sealed the deal. Store manager, Matt, was very helpful in getting paperwork processed and the entire experience was a pleasure. I would recommend Ashley Furniture and JJ to anyone in search of new home decor and furnishings.

We paid a deposit on a bedroom set in August. We were told it would be ready in September. We paid the balance due in early September. We were told it would not be available until the end of October. I pushed back and got half the furniture in September. As of last week we were told the remainder would not arrive until November. None of this was by call from the company, we have repeatedly had to call ourselves to try to get updates. We paid in full for a product and have not received them. When we call we are always told someone will call us back and they never do. This is unacceptable all around. I will never purchase from them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Wow what an experience! Didn’t plan on buying anything when I came in, with how helpful Matt was and how the financing options worked out with our budget we managed to find the perfect couch we were looking for. Matt was a charismatic and very inviting host! 10/10 would recommend

Let me preface this by saying we purchased a couch less than three months ago. I left a one-star review of that couch on the Ashley Furniture website 12 days ago and it has never shown up and if I try to leave it again, they tell me they already have my review for it. I believe they are filtering at least some of the negative reviews of their products from appearing on site, so I decided to leave my review here. "We bought this couch (Coulee Point 2-Piece Sectional with Chaise - Item: 94401S1) less than three months ago and a board in the frame (back portion of the chaise, not seating) has already broken in two. No one jumps on the couch. No one plops down on the couch. No one does anything but lays sedentary scrolling on their phone on the couch. It is placed against the wall, so the breakage isn't from stress of anyone leaning against it. It's just poorly made. The material still looks great and vacuums very, very easily (great option if you have pets!), but for a $1600 couch, the idea of it not even lasting a year with gentle use before structurally breaking is absolutely absurd." All of this being said, dealing with this particular store location was easy, I never felt pressured to buy anything and when we decided to, the process was simple. I just don't think we'll be back based on the poor quality of the furniture and the fact that I feel the lower-star reviews for the products on-site aren't being posted, so you're unable to get an honest review of anything they sell.

We went to Ashleys to look at couches to see what size, fabric, and colors we liked...we were not ready to purchase that day. JJ was super understanding of this and still went out of her way to be helpful and informative. We learned alot about Ashleys couches and walked away more knowledgeable. We did unexpectedly buy a chair and JJ was fantastic. She helped us get the chair for a great price. We cannot thank JJ enough for being so easy to work with and helpful!

J.J. was friendly and able to work with us to get what we wanted during the purchasing process. Now that we have picked up the couch and have went through the whole process, I would caution future buyers. We were told the couch would come in multiple boxes and would be easily transportable after we explained our situation to J.J., so we did not pay for delivery. Upon picking up the couch, it was only in two LARGE pieces which made it damn near impossible to get into our home. Additionally, we were told during the purchase process, J.J. would personally call us herself that week to give us an update on the couch. We never received an update once from her or any Ashley team member. I had to check on delivery date and also call to confirm it arrived at the facility. I am not sure if I will be back after this experience.

Ian was helpful throughout the process, he got us what we wanted. However, our order was wrong and the replacement piece was also wrong when they came to swap them. Ian was no where to be found once we purchased the couch and the rest of the staff never seemed to be on the same page regarding fixing the issue or in no hurry to, very unprofessional.
