Disappointed. Make sure you know what all the additional charges will be. The price of warranties that they discuss should be made clear.

extremely rude customer service and when the manager was brought in, he was even worse!!! Incredibly disappointing, will definetly not be shopping again here and I would strongly advice anybody else from doing the same

I would strongly advise against purchasing a bed or adjustable base through Ashley Furniture (Sterling). Based on my experience, I simply do not trust how this store conducts business. This will be my last purchase at Ashley entirely. I made the mistake of purchasing a Stearns & Foster mattress and adjustable base from Ashley for about $4,600, on Feb 12th 2026 and I completely regret the decision. It has been a huge waste of time and disaster overall. - I should have read the reviews, many customers are having issues. Please do a simple search before you proceed with any purchases at Ashley to make an informed decision. Recommendation: If you are considering purchasing a mattress or adjustable base, I strongly recommend buying directly from the manufacturer instead of going through Ashley. In my experience, Ashley adds no value and only creates unnecessary delays and frustration when problems arise. The customer support lacks accountability, is consistently unhelpful, often rude, and resolving issues can take a month or more—if you are lucky enough to make progress at all. The problem: The adjustable base began making a loud noise when used. I reported the issue within two hours of delivery, yet it has taken over a month just to make minimal progress. During that time: - I was sent to the manufacturer three separate times, only to be told they do not produce this adjustable base and haven manufactured the base in 6+ month. - The manufacturer said Ashley incorrectly directs around 15 customers per day to them for products they do not make. - I was asked to submit photos twice because someone apparently closed the ticket without resolution. - Weeks passed without responses. - I was told an exchange ticket had been created, only to later find out that it had not. Now, after more than a month, I have been informed they will attempt to repair the base rather than replace it. This is going to waste even more hours of my time and extend the timeline by weeks/months. Best case scenario 4 additional weeks, 1-2 weeks for parts to arrive and possibly 1-2 week to schedule the tech. The good The selection sales staff was well informed and helpful right up until you make the purchase.

Truly disappointed in Ashley Furniture in Sterling, VA. I am a disabled veteran, my wife ordered sofa furniture in January worth over $5,500 to be delivered in a 2 months after our new home was ready. When we tried to coordinate delivery, they wouldn’t answer the phones, representative who assisted us wouldn’t answer his phone and they had input a wrong phone number and email address instead of using her prior customer profile from when she made a large purchase in 2020. We had to go in person to resolve, only to be told furniture is no longer available, we are out $5,500 and have no furniture delivered, we simply wanted a refund and they said all sales are final of which they didn’t tell us at the sell date, saying we can only accept a store credit. This is really disappointing and we now have to wait up to 2 weeks from corporate to review the case on deciding a if we can get a refund, of which they can deny, in the meantime, we will sit on the floors because they are unprofessional. The customer service was rude!!!

Truly bad customer service throughout the process. I ordered and paid $5,500 worth furniture in January for delivery in 2 months. I was a repeat customer, but they rushed into a sale and input incorrect phone number, email and name instead of using my prior purchase profile. I called numerous times to coordinate delivery and they never answered the phone. I had to leave work early to discuss in person, only to be told the furniture I ordered for delivery is no longer available and no refund is given either. This is sad and shameful for a business to take my money and full payment, not deliver any furniture, only to say we had to take a store credit. All we want is a refund instead of giving this company the funds for extremely bad service. Please don’t shop here!!!
