We worked with Will (William Norman) to try to find the perfect couch for an old house in the basement that has grandfathered in steep steps and tight corners which are a real pain. We also have people trying to use this couch that are oddly tall and like to relax in certain ways, which made it nearly impossible to find something that worked at Ashley and multiple other furniture companies. Will was really great to work with and never pressured us. He listened carefully and helped research other options that may be available that weren’t on the showroom floor. We thought we found the perfect option, but it didn’t fit by a half an inch and we had to start all over. Will and I probably exchanged close to 40 emails finding the next best option with some real out of the box thinking needed. We ended up by doing a special order of modular, armless chairs and linked 3 of them together, which is super atypical! It’s working great in the space and we’re so grateful that Will hung in there with us with a really challenging space to find a solution within our budget. Honestly, we have been waiting and researching for this furniture option for over two years!

In a previous review I gave them 1 star. I deleted the review. It was about a new couch that was damaged when delivered, and they wanted to repair it. There was no timeframe on when the part was coming in. The store manager has since reached out and is ordering me a new couch. I may adjust my review again depending on my getting the new couch.

Very marginal customer service. They over promised on delivery and then when that caused problems on the customers end, and they had the chance to treat the customer fair, to be concerned about the issues - they did not. Actually, some of their staff people (after they had the money) acted as if the customer did not matter.

Update (4/6/25): Ashley reached out to offer a partial refund, which prompted me to increase the rating by one star. While I appreciated getting some of my money back, my overall experience with the couches remains mediocre. Initially, they seemed great, but after just three months, one side started creaking excessively—something I wouldn’t expect from furniture costing over $2,000. Though the refund helped, the quality issues are still disappointing. Here is a summary of the original review: I purchased two couches from this store and faced continuous issues. The first set arrived damaged despite paying for "white glove delivery." The recliner controllers were broken, one couch had a bent frame, and both were poorly transported. After multiple delays and an upgrade, the replacement couches also came with scuffs, loose threads, and other signs of improper handling. Despite reaching out to the store, I received no response. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially for the price.
