My wife and I visited over the course of three days. What we wanted wouldn't fit in our room no matter how we changed the layout. Cathy and Lori were very helpful over the course of the first two visits. They showed us options and were incredibly patient. We brought it family in the third day where Cathy showed us even more options. She came up with a great solution for our family size; one love seat and two over sized chairs that are both power reclining. I will definitely come back again. The staff was very kind, polite and patient. We both felt like they were here to help us and not just sell furniture. Thank you

I am writing to express a concern that has deeply affected myself and many members of our community, who have long appreciated and supported Ashley Furniture as a valued local business. Recently, my wife and i went in to the show room to look at the furniture and we were assisted by Lori hampl the sales person and part of the management we decided not to purchase at time because we still needed to think about it , we became aware that Lori has been posting anti-Islamic sentiments on her social media, which has been hurtful and offensive to our community. This development has left many of us disheartened, especially since we hold Ashley in high regard for fostering a welcoming environment in our community. I kindly urge you to look into this matter, as we believe it is important for a beloved company like Ashley to promote unity and respect among all community members. First and foremost, our sale rep Rhonda was 100% amazing, she was beyond helpful and such a pleasure to spend an afternoon with, SHE gets 5 stars. SECOND: Communication with this store sucks, and I mean BIG TIME! An original date of delivery was set, then changed after time off work was arranged. I called and left 3, yes 3 messages and got NOT ONE call back! The 4th call I waited on hold for an eternity and finally got thru to Customer Care, where its clear they read from a script. Was told that even though my check cleared the week prior, they haven’t clear it on their end at their bank. Where do they think the money went…Narnia??? Was given a new delivery date and told the items ARE in the warehouse, so it’s “no problem”. “ One of our representatives will call you the night before delivery and 30 minutes before the actual delivery on the day of delivery” Ok great……EXCEPT NOBODY CALLED!!! We had to call THEM only to be told, “yeah it’s not coming today, sorry but the items aren’t in the warehouse yet and we’ll get back to you” (no they won’t). Just left yet ANOTHER voicemail, and I’m not expecting any call back. Ashley Home Store of Winchester, your communication skills lack any substance and after I finally receive the furniture I paid for, I will never return, which is a win for me!! #dontpissoffaNYgirl

We had a good experience buying a recliner chair at the Ashley store in the Delco Plaza in Winchester, VA. Our salesperson Rhonda was very helpful. She did not hover over us or follow us around. She said she was new and she did a great job answering our questions and explained each of the charges related to our purchase. We definitely would consider buying from this location again.

Karyn(with a Y) was amazing with my friend Lois. Lois has been in a hospital and rehab for over three months with a lot of pain and another year of healing to go. Lois needed a bed with an electronic base to help her with her mobility needs as well. My daughter and I came to the store and met Karyn. Karyn spent a great deal of time with us as we told her about my sick friend and her needs. We tried several beds and Karyn taught us so much about choosing the right bed and pillow. Karyn offered to set up a time so she could help Lois (with no interruptions from other people) find the bed to help her with her many needs. Karyn spent 2.5 hours with my friend (a good portion of that time, Lois got a much needed rest on “her” mattress while filling out the paperwork) and Lois got the bed that will help her. Then Karyn said s prayer for Lois and we were so thankful. The store had a 0% interest free payment plan for two years. Also, Karyn taught us how to use the electronic base (and properly how to use the pillow) to obtain the most restful and supportive sleep. We are very happy with Lois’s purchase. We were all very thankful we met Karyn, because she truly cared about Lois and getting her a restful sleep. If I could put this as a ten star review, I would.

Had the best experience here with Rachel! She was amazing at her job. Very knowledgeable and has such a good approach. She knew when to check in, and when to give us space to look around. She described the material and benefits so that we could make an informed purchasing decision. We went to a few local furniture stores and were most impressed with the quality of furniture and expertise here at Ashley’s! The manager, Cam, took time to come explain the history of Ashley Furniture also and the warranty. If you go here for furniture needs, ask to speak to Rachel! You won’t be disappointed! They definitely went the extra mile!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience here with Rachel! She was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful as we made decisions and purchased furniture for our new house. We’d recommend this Ashley location and Rachel to anyone looking for an easy and supportive process!

I purchased a kitchen table 4 months ago from a Ashley store in Leesburg. The table was delivered but with only 2 stools not 4. Long story short is still missing 2 stools. Delivery that I paid for complete failure. When I purchased they offered me to pay for white glove service ($$$$) I declined l. There must be a problem because they keep trying to give me floor model stools. As I had to haul the table and construct both the table and the stools. But this gets better after a couple months three trups to the Winchester Store I finally requested managers assistance. I think this guys needs some training because in his little mind he apparently thinks by trying to resolve this he is doing me a favor and has no obligation to help. Do what you want with this store but this manager should be cleaning the parking lot not interacting with customers such as myself that have been nothing but patient and accommodating. Ashley you failed.

I had the pleasure of working with Heather during both of my visits to Ashley, and I was thoroughly impressed by her professionalism and dedication. She was exceptionally patient, courteous, outgoing, making the entire experience enjoyable. I truly appreciated her consistent support. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking considerate service.

I would give zero starts if I could. Returned a piece of couch, was told I had store credit. Went in to the store to use the credit, was told I had $421 to use. Bought a coffee table, picked it up even to not spend any additional money over the $100 out of pocket we already had to do. A MONTH later they call me and say “Oopsies we made a mistake, you had no credit - now pay us NOW for this table” a table that I never would have bought without credit. Oh, and I can’t even add it to my original financing that they “decreased” upon return of the couch piece. I’m sure they do this to people all the time. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Crappy furniture and shady business practices.

Unfortunately, while purchasing from Ashley was easy and pleasant, customer service completely stopped once the sale was complete. During delivery, the Ashley delivery team damaged our home by cracking a windowsill. They then covered damage to the bed frame by placing the mattress over it and did not disclose this to us before leaving. They also accepted a cash tip without mentioning any damage. When we discovered the issues after the delivery team left, Ashley attempted to send a different third-party company to repair the damage. We were not comfortable allowing additional vendors chosen by Ashley into our home, so we declined. Ashley provided only a small amount of compensation. We then requested a refund of the delivery fee, especially after a second Ashley delivery attempt (meant to address the original damage) went to the wrong address. At that point, we no longer wanted the furniture and attempted to return the entire bedroom suite, but Ashley refused to allow a return. Despite over 10 attempts to contact a manager, we received little to no response. Ashley also refused to waive the $500 delivery fee, despite the damage, miscommunication, and multiple service failures. After months of frustration and no resolution, I am now filing a BBB complaint as a last resort. I strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing. Save yourself a four-month headache and avoid this company. DON’T DO ITTTTTTT…..

I have been to Ashely’s in other locations. I came here because my husband wanted to stop by the nearby sporting store so I came to take a look and see what was new. I had no idea I would be creating a core memory here. I was professionally and cordially greeted by Miss “Karyn with a Y”. (That’s how I remembered her name). Karyn’s form of communicating was something rare amongst those in service industries. She listened to what I stated I was looking for and she directed me exactly to the furniture piece I didn’t think existed. Not only that, her product knowledge saved me from sleeping habits I didn’t know were creating the perfect environment for body aches and pains. When she demonstrated zero gravity vs my everyday sleep position, I was absolutely floored by the difference! Many would just sell me what I tell them I’m looking for, Karyn didn’t. She opened my eyes to a world of WHY furniture is designed to help make lives better. I left this Ashley’s peace of mind and body. If you’re in the area, ask for Karyn; among the few who loves what she does and it shows in how she cares for people. Thank you!! I highly recommend! 09/03/25 Update: Unfortunately I have to change the rating for a few reasons. 1. On delivery day, the driver/installers delivered dirty and broken furniture. They installed so quickly, I only had time to check the couches. Also, the rug ordered the driver told me the rig was not available whereas two days before, I received confirmation that everything was getting delivered. After they left, I was cleaning the dining table and found a SKU sticker on one of the dining chairs. The sticker was concealing a crack on the chair. Very intentional. I called Ashley’s and they were able to start a claim to get it fixed. They stated the drivers are responsible for the condition of furniture. Great. 2. The dining table. My husband leaned on it to situate himself on the chair, it almost fell over. We then discovered the base is missing two screws and the table sways with the pressure of my pinky. Very dangerous. I started a second claim to get this fixed. 3. Furniture quality isn’t the best but also not the worst. The customer service reps were helpful to do their best to fix these issues. I’m still waiting on the rug that was on back order until today. I called to find out it won’t be available until the 24th and IF it’s available, they will call to schedule.

Worst experience ever do not buy from here. Obviously like any smart consumer.I inquired about the return policy. I was told returns and exchanges are store credit only. If I have an issue, I just call customer service and they'll process the return or exchange. During delivery, 2 of my railings were ripped out of the wall. They attempted to cover scratches on my floor without informing me. The table delivered is covered in scratches. And I wanted to exchange the bed frame as it doesn't fit in the space well. Also, they did not build the bed correctly.And I can't even move it without it falling apart. Customer service is telling me that exchanges are at their discretion and they are denying me exchanging the bed. And then they closed my case without doing anything about the damaged table or unproperly built bed. They are gonna send me a seventy five dollar check for my railings. I went back to the store and spoke to a different salesperson and inquired about purchasing a bed frame and asked what the return policy was only to be given the exact same information... call customer service and they'll allow you to exchange it for store credit.

Customer service sucks! I only gave the store a one star because I had to choose one. These people have been a headache to deal with. I have damaged furniture and no one wants to deal with it. I’ve sent multiple emails to multiple people that claimed they cared and they’d handle it and NO one has called back or handled it. I just made my first payment and my furniture is still broken.

Searched around at a bunch of furniture stores in Winchester. Walking in and being helped by Cathy was an absolute blessing. She knew everything inside and out. Had a great sense of humor. Was flexible as I changed my mind a million times and made the entire experience and absolute blast! I highly recommend you ask for her when you come in.

They forgot to schedule the delivery I set up and then when they did deliver it we found out we were missing pieces due to them being on back order. When asked why were weren’t told that at the time I was just told I don’t know. Was assured that they would reach out Friday with the status of the claim and the back ordered piece would be delivered Saturday. No call Friday and no one will answer our calls so we reach out to corporate who tells us the claim was never filed and they don’t even deliver here this weekend so they aren’t sure why we were told that. These people are liars and incompetent. I would strongly advise avoiding this store at all cost.

I have never been more disappointed in a purchase like this one bought our 15 yr old son a new bed and it is under warranty. Ashley will not help us with the warrant the head board came free from the frame and it looks like to me it was broke during installation and the used a screw to fasten the headbord to the frame which if you have ever put one together you don't need a screw. I have been trying to get this resolved for 3 weeks all I get is put on hold untill I give up $1500.00 for trash!!!!!!!!"😔 Update there are not going to cover there product after 10 months don't believe them when they say your item is covered and they stand by there product for 5yrs. Anyone else having issues with Ashley furniture in Winchester to were we can get a class action law suite against them!!!!!!

Don’t go to the store! Buyer beware! They don’t give you any refunds if something goes wrong. There is absolutely no customer service and you are dealing with highway robbers. I called the store today looking for a motorized combination recliner and lift chair. I was immediately given to Ms. Thea. Wow, was I ever lucky! She was the most pleasant retail sales person that I have ever encountered. Immediately I knew she understood the concept of customer service. That's very RARE in 2025, trust me, I spent 40+ yrs in sales myself, and and I immediately knew from the sound of her voice, that she really cared about me, as a potential buyer. She worked for over an hour taking photos, texting, and telling me about the available options for my very tight window request in Ranson WV. She was very knowledgeable and answered every one of my detailed questions! Although we didn't close a deal today on my difficult request, she made me feel better about my whole day. If you need furniture, I highly recommend Ms. Thea. You won't be disappointed, but you will get treated like it was 1960. She is a Rockstar - I hope management notices her work ethic!

I had door step delivery and they would not let open to inspect the couch, when i got everything open i seen the damage spot called right then and there to ask aboit a replacement. a few days later they called and said i will have to pay $85 to have it fixed keep in mind i have a 5 year warranty and i called with in the hour sent pictures and everything they asked for. why do i have to pay for there mistake when they delivered it and it was damaged? i will send it back and shop somewhere else horrible customer service!

There customer service is no good was sold a mattress that is supposed to be 80in long mattress is only 76in they say since it was delivered and I accepted the delivery they can not exchange it at time of purchase they did not have a purple twin xl in stock so was not able to see the bed if the mattress is supposed to be 80in then it should be 80in iam 6ft tall so no iam stuck with a 8,500 bed that my feet hang off the bottom ridiculous I would go else where when shopping there customer service is a joke hopefully someone will reach out to me a fix this issue base in the photos is 80in

Cathy was easy to work with the day of - patient, helpful, and quick - and promised delivery within my timeframe - but became incompetent when the delivery date couldn't be met. Then canceling became a battle as I worked my way up the chain of command from local desk staff, to finance people and regional reps. Who threatens to withhold refunding payment made in full for products never shipped?? What should have been an easy correction was a month-long process and battle of wills. Never again, Ashley Furniture - your business model and service delivery are horrendous!

Our first purchased from Ashley furniture. We visited Winchester location where we met Joan Kern. She was very helpful in showing us different recliners with the best deals. The whole process went by smooth. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for new furniture and come see Joan.

My husband and I came in to get a sectional for our new place and were provided with a great selection of products, as well as great service. We were helped by Brett, but didn’t make the final call til the next day. Clay helped us when we finally pulled the plug, and was kind enough to credit half of the sale to Brett as well.

In early September, my wife and I stopped by the Ashley store in Winchester and purchased a couch and loveseat, arranging to have them delivered within 3 weeks. While our store experience was quite good with Kelly, every single interaction with them since has been absolutely horrendous. First, I was told that the delivery guys could move our couch 10 feet out onto the porch, which was a concern because I have a bad back. Delivery was then scheduled by Ashley for a day mid-week, for which I took a day off of my busy work schedule to accommodate. No worries there. However, once I arrive at our cabin, which was a 4 hour round trip for me, Ashley was a no-show. I called in and they told me that it had in fact been scheduled for a different day, which was absolutely not the case. I had specifically selected that day because I had a more open schedule (and I had a delivery confirmation email to prove it). Just out of curiousity, I asked if they had notes in my account that instructed the delivery guys that I would need help moving the couch 10' to the porch. Nope. There was no note even though I was told it was in there and they would be happy to help. I was then told it would be added (a second time). When asked what they would do to compensate me for my wasted time, customer service said I needed to call the store. In speaking with Amy, a floor manager, she told me she would look into it and get back to me. Did she? Absolutely not. Not a peep. She did ask the salesperson to get back to me, and she simply said that her notes said the later date, so I must be wrong. When I offered to forward her the email confirming the date that I was awaiting the delivery at the cabin, silence. I never heard from either of them ever again. Fast forward, I had to hire someone to be at the cabin to accept the furniture. But guess what? The delivery guys said there was no notation that they had to move the couch onto the porch, so they refused to do this simple task. Overall value: If you take into account Ashley's incredibly poor customer service and disingenuous manager/customer service staff, I would say that Ashley offers a poor overall value as a place to buy your furniture. I would advise you to steer clear.

The ONLY good thing about my experience with Ashley Homestore is working with the lady at the store. She was wonderful. Her name was Lori. Flash forward to delivery- an absolute nightmare. I have been waiting 2 months for a headboard and footboard for our bed that was never apparently ordered. The communication at this store is awful. They have never called to give me order updates or anything. The manager was supposed to call me last week, and that’s never happened. I am absolutely furious that I purchased over 10K in furniture and my bed was delivered missing pieces, and yet I’m still waiting. I will never order from Ashley Homestore again. While the prices are competitive, I’ll just have to scrape together the money and head over to Grand. Incredibly disappointed.

I purchased a sectional couch from the Ashley Winchester store and my experience was trash from the time I left the store. While there, I was assured by the salesman that the two pieces of the sectional would have factory clips to hold them together. He spent a long time away from me in the store "verifying" this. The sectional came without the attachments, and the 2 pieces have slipped away from each other constantly from the start. Customer service just gave me the run-around and never would address their mistake. Additionally, the delivery people were rough and caused damage to the frame of the arm on one of the sections before it even entered my home. I did not have high expectations for this sectional based on the price, but it has been a disappointment in every way... junk frame, poorly made cushions, and sagging springs. So uncomfortable. The only nice thing I can say about it is that the faux suede fabric is attractive and has performed well. I will never purchase from Ashley again and neither should you, unless you like throwaway pieces to switch up your look frequently. This sectional is so horrible that I feel badly about donating it to charity.

do not ever buy pillows from Ashley. my purple pillow went flat after a few months and purple said Ashley had ti cover warranties since its a retailer. no problem I said, exceot Ashley's corporate said they do not honor warranties on pillows because they're considered accessories. so go elsewhere for all your accessories. don't buy their pillows , bedding , lamps etc..

Big big thank you to the Ashley team in Winchester VA. My elderly mother in law needed a specific recliner for health and comfort reasons and we shopped the local area with no luck. Our last stop was Ashley. We were immediately greeted by Clay at the door. Mother in law is in a wheelchair We explained what we needed. We asked that he not do the “standard” upselling tactics. We asked for simple guidance and demonstration of features on the recliners. Clay was awesome. He was patient and understanding, good sense of humor and easy to do business (ETDBW). We spent over $1,000 because of Clay. Clay was able to pull off delivery within 48 hours of purchase too. Big big thank you to Freddy and his coworker for providing my mom with a white glove delivery experience. Will go to Ashley (first) next time we are in need of furniture. David
