Great place to buy furniture and mattresses!! Easy to deal with!
Don’t buy from Ashley. I would give zero stars if possible. We were not advised of the no return policy and exorbitant delivery fee until after we paid. The delivery date changed between the time we purchased and actual delivery. Never received a call the item was ready to pick up. It wasn’t assembled as promised. On top of that the lady at the Tennessee warehouse was rude and dismissive. We managed to get a partial refund but only because we called the customer service number on the website.

They are going to tell you whatever you want to hear. The stuff is shipped and delivered from somewhere else. Two times I have purchased from them. Got screwed up orders both times without a remedy. I won't be going back.

Went to Ashley furniture looking for a better mattress, when entering the store I was greeted by Whitney. Whitney is very nice and very helpful in helping us find what we need and at a great price. However, due to us not having much time we had to leave, but, will definitely be returning Sunday for her to help us with the mattress we chose.

Yes, I went into Ashley’s just to look around and Whitney Met me at the door and introduced, herself, and was very pleasant and she helped and answered all the questions I had about all the furniture and sectionals that I was looking at I would most definitely go back to her when I get ready to purchase my new living room set.

Experience was great. Sales lady needs more training on products. Was VERY specific on questions asked and she answered incorrectly. After sales lady told me everything was in stock, come to find out from delivery company it wasn't. Waiting almost 1 month for delivery, then I had to make another 1 hour trip to Wise to purchase item missing (did get a discount), 1 hour drive home, then had to finish the setup myself....after paying $99 for delivery AND setup. Not delivery guys fault, that company was GREAT! Friendly, courteous, answered all my questions. They was the ones to tell me I was missing the foundation. No one at Ashley's noticed I was purchasing a purple mattress but NOT the foundation. Sales lady told me the foundation was included with the mattress purchase....guess not. But overall experience was alright. Manager was nice and helpful.

As bad as I hate to put this out there. I can honestly say that I had the worst customer experience at this store that I’ve ever had in my life. I get better service at the local dollar store. Most of the customer service people that works there are so rude and disrespectful. And with me paying in cash you would think that I would at least get a response from them. But honestly purchasing with cash or credit. Customers should be treated equally. I will never return to this store ever again!!!!! Every piece of furniture that I purchased there had damage to it…!!!

I will never order furniture from here again. I ordered a bedroom suit including mattress and box spring to be delivered together. the bedroom suit showed up but no one had any idea about the mattress or box spring. at first that order didn't exist. Now it can't be delivered for at least another week so I'm left with either sleeping on my couch, floor, or spending more money to buy an air mattress to sleep on until it gets here. when you spend $4000.00 in one trip you'd expect better service. I won't be spending my money here again.

Do not go here. Bought a bedroom suit for our daughter was supposed to be delivered by Christmas says they have called and left messages but I haven’t receive any other than what I have messaged them with no help. Ruined my child’s Christmas. Ask for a refund because they didn’t commit to what they said. Told me I would have to pay a cancellation fee.

We had ordered bedroom furniture 3 months ago at least and just received some of it this week…the night stands have been pushed back 3 different dates!!! 😡😡😡 Also, ordered a couch and they first told me the following week…they have pushed the dates back 4 different times!! It has been ordered a few days short of a month right now. They are all about selling it but be prepared you will not receive it for months and months!!!! It’s ridiculous!!!!

Ashley is all about selling you furniture but when it comes to delivery they lie and give you dates to expect it but it never happens. We have been waiting for 3 months to receive our furniture and the date keeps getting pushed back and then you only get part of it.They say what you want to hear just to get you out of there hair. My advice is don’t go to them unless you have plenty of time.

Had an overall rough experience. Salesperson didn’t seem interested in assisting us. Then,We were set to spend just under $8,000.00.. to be charged $600 dollars for delivery?? Canceled the sectional, kept the bed ($4,200 dollars later). We decided to pick up in store, to be charged! I spent the night stewing over my crappy experience, to decide I didn’t want to give my money to this place. Less than 12 hours later, I call to cancel my order. I was informed the 25% restocking fee would still apply. Really?? What are you restocking? Horrid experience, will NOT recommend to anyone.. ever. And will NOT return.
We moved across country and settled down and bought furniture for the new house at Ashley's. It was supposed to be delivered with be delivered within a month but it took 3 full months to get our furniture so we went without for 3 months. Once we received it, it was damaged scratched scratched and wobbly. The cushions on our couch were scratched up and the furniture had scratches on the legs. I reached out to management to try to get assistance and sent photos and have called multiple times since then with no response. I would never recommend this company.

Bought an Ernestine power lift recliner from Ashley in Charleston, WV, on 2/22/20 for $879.99. Paid $89.99 extra for a 4-year Protection Plan. Coverage included "Breakage of mechanisms including sleeper mechanisms, reclining mechanisms, and heating, power and vibrating mechanisms. Chair got stuck in the up position on 7/23/22 (control button broke). Called the store on 7/25/22 and was told to call the 888 number. Called Furniture Care Protection, Inc (FCP) in Edmond, OK and was told to send pic. Texted pic and said I needed a new five-pin lighted wand. Got text 7/26/22 saying they would process the claim. Nothing. Called FCP 8/2/22 and was told they had to send a technician. Nothing. Called FCP 8/9/22 and was told they had to send a technician. Called the Ashley store manager and was told they had no control over it. Told him they sold the plan in their store; they should be able to do something. Was told to call Ashley Customer Care. Called Ashley Customer Care and was told they had no control over it, I could buy a new wand online, but she would send an email. Today is 9/11/22. Still nothing. Purchased a new, inferior wand online for about $30.00. Wand like the original costs about twice that. Shame on you Ashley and FCP. Zero stars.

I called and was told that one item was going to be put on a truck then to be delivered. 3 weeks later no call. my couch has a rip from delivery, still waiting on replacement and phone call. Center table well I have no clue about that. It's time someone contact me. I don't know refund, discount, something.

However, this experience was very different from my previous visits. Mr. Sturgill was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He helped me find a great deal after looking at multiple places.
Service was good . People are very nice but there is one complaint. We found a recliner that we wanted and was ready to buy even came up while they were having a special event to get it but they would not sell off the floor . Called other Ashley's store and same thing you can order it wait 40 days or longer but can't buy the one off the floor . That just doesn't make since .

Came in to the Ashley Furniture Store today in Wise, Virginia just to browse the sectional sofas. Selistino assisted me and was very helpful with the ideas of my interests. I have decided to purchase a sofa sleeper at this time and return for a tambo pewter sectional that I've bn wanting for awhile. Terrible service!!! We bought a couch in August was told October is when they were expected to have it. They were annoyed at the fact we didn't get the extended warranty service when we were finalizing the sale. Once purchased we waited until October then I gets pushed to November, once November got here then gets pushed to January. January hits then now we are looking at February. Total 6 months wait time and I call to finally see if I can get my money back, I call to get told that I have to pay a restocking fee of 25% on something I've never recieved. Go into to store to look at maybe finding a more available couch but conviently the system was down.

Rather pointless store, had to have them price match their own advertised price, it’s been 5 weeks and have had no contact about the product that was purchased even though a contract had to be signed. I understand they don’t have control over supply issues, but an occasional update wouldn’t be too much to ask. Best bet would be just to order the product online, the only value of the store is to see the item in person. In the future I’ll make my purchase online. C+ could be better, could be worse.

I wish I didn't even have to leave any stars on this review because they don't deserve it. My previous review on their fb page had all stars, so that's how far the experience has fallen and I haven't even received all my furniture yet!!! Paid for my furniture the day I went into the store for the 1st time which was 8/21/21. Shirley was my sales person. Had a great day overall. Since then...haven't had many updates, if at all from Shirley...which we were told would be weekly regarding the status of our furniture. Now, I knew from the beginning we had a popular set and due to covid, getting it delivered to us would be delayed. Some of it maybe even around Thanksgiving, early Dec. worst case scenario. NOW, it's apparently going to be FEB 2022 before I can get the couch and love seat I ordered. Keep in mind, my chairs to the dining table are in at the warehouse...but because THEY made the mistake of bringing the WRONG color the 1st time, they won't make it right and bring the right ones to me...so i have to wait for them when the rest comes in...in FEB..or later... who knows! They can only refund me for what I already have...so what good does that do??? I'll have a mismatched partial living/kitchen set and still no furniture in my new home. I'm disgusted with how this experience has went and how things have been handled and run in this business. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS THERE AGAIN. I should've went to Grand's to start with....they've never let me down..... LESSON LEARNED. Beware buyers!!! You're in for it! Edit: 12/28/21: 2 weeks from the original post. Supervision at wise location made it right. Personally delivered and set up the rest of my dining set. I'm very pleased with this and respect them for making this right. We ordered a bed on opening day back in August. We were told it would be in at the end of September or October. The other day we get a call and they say it won't be here till February now. They would not give a discount. Our options were to deal with it or cancel the order after we have already waited over 3 months. I will not be back and will recommend all my friends and family to go to Grands instead. We had a delay one time with Grands, and they made it right for us.

Me and my mommy went in to look at a new kitchen set and an entertainment center. We dealt with a sales lady named Crystal Davis. She was very nice and helpful. She was so friendly and a good sense of humor. My mom is 82 years old and she talked to mom like she had knew her all of her life. She really knows a lot about the products. Every question we asked she was able to answer it real fast. She worked with us and treated us so nice the whole time. Crystal Davis is a real go getter and i cant tell you all how good she done. She took the time to explain the furniture protection plan in detail cause mom had a few questions about that part. She made it very easy to understand. We told her that everyone should treat their customers like she does. She was with someone else when we got there and she was very nice and friendly to them too. She didnt treat us any different. If all sales people treated people the way Crystal treated us that would be amazing. Most sales people want to hurry you along and not spend time and explain things. we dont like that. If I am going to spend money somewhere they i expect them to take time and answer all my questions and not make me feel like i am a burden to them. Crystal Davis has to be the friendliest sales person we ever talked to. I would say you DEFINATLY need to see her when you go in. Delivery is the issue. We purchased a new sectional for our sun room over 4 weeks ago. The people in the store was very helpful but when it came to delivery problems just got worse and worse. We now know Ashley doesn't deliver the items you purchase themselves. They subcontract this out two someone else. The day of delivery two guys show up to our home in a enterprise truck and most of the time during the delivery did not even speak English. During the delivery our door frame and wall was damaged by this delivery crew. This was reported to the local store , and forwarded to another third party company Ashley uses and assigned to a claim specialist. Long story short they offered me 80 dollars for my trouble and that was after 4 phone calls and several emails. If anyone has had damages to their home you know how far 80 dollars goes. We will not make any more major purchases from Ashley again.
The worst store to make a purchase.The items take weeks to arrive and when they get to your house everything is wrong compared to what you ordered. Oh, did I mention Lois? She is one of the sell employees, stay away from her! She will act nice, but when you have an issue with your purchase she will try to call you a liar instead of apologize and try to solve the problem. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.
Do NOT shop here. I bought some furniture and the salesperson told me they would be having a BIG sale the next day and to check back then and price would be better. I did and the price was the same. I asked about it and she did some "calculating" and reduced the price slightly. I ordered furniture. In one week I get an email showing the item I ordered was significantly reduced. I called to talk to my salesperson and did not get a call back and store "was not taking calls at this time." I went in personally and salesperson would not match the lower price advertised on the Internet on the very same item. I asked to speak to manager and "told he was with people" and couldn't see me. The bottom line is this furniture had 3 different prices in one week!!! Stop playing fast and loose with your prices- give people some decent customer service and honor low price matching like every other store does!!! Do not buy furniture here! Horrible experience- you have lost a long term me customer!!!
